Since Alex restarted, much better.

Alex, from Task Manager, select the Process tab. Click the CPU column twice. This should sort by what's using the CPU the most.
If there's a process you see there that you are not framilar with it, Google the process name and perhaps +malware.
That should tell you what's using all you CPU cycles.
