That may be re synagogues, but I would assume it proceeds from a different mentality. Jew stuff tends to look like community centers, located in prime suburbs around major cities. Not easily or immediately recognizable as anything religious or jewish. Which probably is one part concealment/disguise and a second part the fact that judaism isn't a true religion. Any criminal gang would prefer its headquarters go unnoticed.
