Will Williams’ relationship with Dr. Pierce
Dr. Bob @ Censorfront (2/7/16):
Quote:
In this thread, Will Williams and OVID [Kevin Strom] overstate Williams’ relationship with Dr. Pierce. I joined the Hillsboro HQ staff in May 1996. That was a year or two after Williams left and only a few months after Kevin Alfred Strom left.
Instigating Fights
Williams left his position as HQ membership coordinator because he caused fights. Williams complained to Pierce about Strom. This caused counterproductive dissention among the staff.
Williams was virulently anti-Christian; fighting with Christians. But Dr. Piece was not at war with Christians; Dr. Pierce was at war with Jews and other non-Whites. Money was Dr. Pierce’s ammunition; his main requirement for continuing membership was that members paid their dues and didn’t cause more trouble than they were worth. Christians were welcome.
Pierce decided that Williams’ constant quarreling was counterproductive and Pierce warned Williams that it could not continue. At that time, there was nice old German immigrant in Reedy, West Virginia, named George Dietz. Dietz published a monthly journal, Liberty Bell, which was open to all racialist authors. Williams wrote two nasty letters to George. I think the second letter was because Dietz printed an article by Harold Covington. After the second letter, Dr. Pierce called Williams into his office and Williams left. I heard Pierce fired Williams, but it matters little.
Pierce had a knack of being able to get rid of staff without causing a major scene. And yes, Dr. Pierce had plenty of staffers over the years that didn’t fit in. I know of no case where Dr. Pierce chased an employee around on a roof and later punched him. Nor did he ever grab one by the neck or break into their residence. One of the key things that made the National Alliance successful was avoiding the drama and public embarrassment of internal fights.
Back to Raleigh
Williams then went Raleigh and became the second regional coordinator; Erich Gliebe was the first and most successful regional coordinator. Williams’ combative nature remained counterproductive. For example, for a while, William’s unit had literature table at a few gun shows. In about 1994 or 1995, at a Leadership Conference, Williams told me about his tactics at the gun show table. When a conversation would be going on at their gun show table, at some point, Williams would interject something like: “Enough of this, let’s start talking about ******s and Jews.”
Some attendees complained to the gun show management. Management tried to talk things over with the caustic Williams; his group got kicked out of gun shows. It soon became hard for the Raleigh unit to get tables at gun shows.
On the West Coast, Jim Ring established a many year record of recruiting at gun shows. When management would complain to Jim, Jim would say that he understood and just put the specific item that the attendees complained about under the table (until the next gun show). Ring continued and expanded his successful gun show recruiting right up to the time that Ring broke with Gliebe.
Gaede Rejects Williams
Williams tried to court April Gaede, and he say they were engaged. Williams even took Ms Gaede to his personal psychiatrist. Gaede dumped Williams; she rejected Williams; she scorned Williams. Hell hath no fury like Will Williams scorned. Williams conducted an outrageous slander and libel campaign against Gaede. The stuff that Williams posted on the internet is milquetoast compared to what he told me.
At that time, the National Alliance was rapidly growing. Much of it was due to April’s singing twin daughters. The girls attracted massive attention from mainstream media. Even the controlled press used terms like “impossibly cute” to describe the girls. April and her daughters were the Alliance’s superstars. The twins were contributing to recruiting, and sales of their music CD’s was brisk. This bought a whole new segment to the Alliance, and we sent these new people book and music catalogs. Cash (ammunition) was rolling in. April was welcome at the National Alliance’s national meeting. She had star power.
Williams’ could not stand it. Williams confronted Dr. Pierce and effectively said, “It’s me or her. If you keep her in the Alliance, I’m gone.” I’m sure Dr. Pierce’s reply was tactful as always, but it amounted to a simple, “Goodbye, Will.”
The above is Williams’ relationship with Dr. Pierce in a nutshell. As a regional coordinator, Williams performance was far behind that of both Jim Ring and Erich Gliebe. Nor was Williams the best membership coordinator; the "best one" was fired by Dr. Pierce for unseemly activity.
