This is what it is... taking what is natural and normal and attacking it as abnormal, odd, unusual or even evil. It's deconstruction of one's most basic definitions of their self and world around them. It is meant to make one self conscious, and unable to act appropriately in their society. It intends to rob them of identity so they lose power.
Its all an extension of the marxist Frankfurt school of cultural critique.
The above link is my first exposure to it in high school in the sixties.
