Awesome. I always miss these kinds of things and then wish I'd paid attention.

On a side note, someone should make a 'Tyrone' cartoon where he gets lost in the blackness and says, 'Sheeiiit,' lol.

There are fires burning in Oregon and Idaho and the smoke may make viewing in those areas difficult. It'll be about 70-75% where I am. I need to go get those special glasses to view it tomorrow.

I couldn't find any eclipse glasses, they were all sold out. Looks like I waited too long. The pinhole viewer I tried to make didn't work worth a crap, either. It was nothing really spectacular in N. Nevada, anyway--they predicted 80-82 percent of totality, but I estimate it was no more than 60 percent. So I just watched most of the coverage on NASA TV.

Me neither--the way it turned off dark and cooler was interesting, though.
The next one will be April 8, 2024.

Six years and a lil over 7 months from now. So we have time to rustle up some glasses.
