The problem is that NATO took the weapons away from all Serbian civilians while the albanians still have theirs. There are random searches of Serb homes and property in Northern Kosovo almost daily.

Everyone's Favorite Villain
Radovan Karadzic Captured

by Nebojsa Malic

A one-line communiqué from the office of the Serbian president flashed across the world on Monday: Radovan Karadzic, wartime leader of the Serbs in Bosnia, was arrested in Belgrade. He is wanted by the Hague Inquisition for allegedly masterminding the Bosnian War, the siege of Sarajevo, and the "genocide" in Srebrenica – in effect, for being the president of the Bosnian Serb Republic during the war, and therefore responsible for everything that (allegedly) took place during the conflict. For the past twelve years, Karadzic had disappeared from sight; as it turned out, he lived in Belgrade under an assumed identity and practiced alternative medicine.

Karadzic's arrest occasioned a veritable orgy of propaganda about the Bosnian War, with media necromancers raising the specters of any half-truth, rumor, libel or outright lie ever associated with the former psychiatrist who, together with the late Alija Izetbegovic, played a key role in the Bosnian drama.

Fear and Gloating

News from Belgrade quickly drew current and former Imperial politicians to the media spotlight. Triumphal gloating was the order of the day.

Richard Holbrooke called Karadzic "one of the worst men in the world" and "the Osama bin Laden of Europe." Madeleine Albright told the NPR that Karadzic was "behind the systematic ethnic cleansing – murder – of several hundred thousand Bosnians." (The official figure of war dead, both civilian and military, was established recently as just under 100,000.)

White House press secretary Dana Perino hailed Karadzic's arrest as a sign of Serbia's commitment to justice. Meanwhile, Emperor Bush was meeting with leaders of the terrorist KLA, now "president" and "prime minister" of the separatist province of Kosovo, Fatmir Sejdiu and Hashim Thaci.

Nor did the Eurocrats remain reticent in their praises of Karadzic's demise. Commissioners Solana and Rehn lauded Serbian "cooperation." Angela Merkel of Germany called it a "vindication for the victims." The list goes on.

Bosnian Muslims were overjoyed. In Sarajevo, some danced on the streets and waved black flags of jihad as news came in (video). Serbian officials mostly kept blathering about how great this would be for their dream of joining the EU; one exception were the Radicals, who declared it a "difficult day for Serbia" and claimed that extraditing Karadzic to an institution that made a point of acquitting Muslim and Albanian warlords accused of murder and torture of Serbs was absurd.

The Warmonger?

So who, exactly, is Radovan Karadzic? Is he really the "Osama bin Laden of Europe," a warmongering genocidal fanatic personally responsible for the Bosnian War? Hardly. Those willing and able to go beyond sound bites in their quest for actual information ought to read an essay by Srdja Trifkovic, published the morning after Karadzic's arrest. Cutting through the layers of propaganda built up by the mainstream media, Trifkovic lays out the situation in Bosnia that preceded the conflict, and the role of Karadzic, Alija Izetbegovic, Slobodan Milosevic, Croatia's Franjo Tudjman – and foreign powers – in the Bosnian tragedy.

The Inquisition claims that Karadzic was a co-conspirator in Slobodan Milosevic's alleged "joint criminal enterprise" to establish Greater Serbia. But Karadzic and Milosevic never got along well, nor did Karadzic take orders from Belgrade. Furthermore, rather than being a warmonger, Karadzic actually tried to make a deal with the Bosnian Muslims at least three times. First he approached Adil Zulfikarpasic, the chief sponsor and co-founder of the SDA party; Izetbegovic sabotaged these talks, and soon elbowed Zulfikarpasic out of the party. He also tried dealing with Fikret Abdic, who was more popular than Izetbegovic among Bosnian Muslims. Izetbegovic again thwarted any attempted agreement, and Abdic retreated to his western Bosnian holdings, where he made a separate peace with the Serbs later on. The third occasion, in March 1992, Karadzic and Izetbegovic actually signed a treaty accepting Bosnia's independence, but as a confederation of ethnic provinces. At this point, American ambassador Warren Zimmerman encouraged Izetbegovic to torpedo the treaty.

It is said Karadzic wanted war; yet he publicly pleaded with the Muslims not to start a fight. On the other hand, Izetbegovic did want a war, as that was the only way of achieving his goals laid out in the "Islamic Declaration" as early as 1970.

The Scapegoat

"Karadzic never understood… Izetbegovic's grand strategy, and that time was not on the side of the Serbs," writes Trifkovic.

"In 1992-1993 Karadzic made a fundamental miscalculation that made the war unwinnable for the Serbs. Ever obsessed with maps, square miles and territorial percentages to the detriment of strategic planning, he sat on his advantages and hoped that in the fullness of time the world would recognize the Serbs' apparent victory…

"Blinkered by his flawed assumptions, Karadzic failed to grasp the tectonic shift that took place in January 1994, when the U.S. sponsored a Croat-Muslim alliance and the Europeans realized that there would be no settlement unless they surrendered political leadership to Washington…

"From spring 1994 on the Muslims could no longer lose the war, which, in view of their weak starting position, was tantamount to winning it."

Bosnia was used by the U.S. to establish the Imperial prerogative to intervene in other countries without much regard for the UN or international law. What soon followed were Kosovo, Afghanistan, and Iraq. There is no way the Empire will even entertain a challenge to its narrative, as without the Bosnian myth it crumbles entirely. Says Trifkovic:

"Radovan Karadzic will be duly convicted of genocide and crimes against humanity, and he will not come out of jail alive. The verdict is already written, but it reflects a fundamental imbalance. It ignores the essence of the Bosnian war – the Serbs' striving not to be forced into secession – while remaining mute about the culpability of the other two sides for a series of unconstitutional, illegitimate and illegal political decisions that caused the war."

The judgment against Karadzic, writes Trifkovic, "will be neither fair or just, and therefore it will be detrimental to what America should stand for in the world. It will also give further credence to the myth of Muslim blameless victimhood, Serb viciousness, and Western indifference."

United in Hatred

Far-fetched? Not at all. In November 2001, as debris from the 9/11 attacks was still being cleared, Washington Post columnist Richard Cohen proposed a "second front" against terrorism – in Bosnia. Did he advocate going after the Islamic militants who settled there, or their financial aid networks, or the imported clerics with their fiery sermons? Oh no. Rather, he claimed that "bagging Karadzic" would help the U.S. win propaganda points among the world's Muslims, who were "sniffing glue from an anti-American tube." Cohen even used a Nazi analogy, claiming Karadzic and Mladic "have the mentality of Nazis without the might and expertise of Germany," and argued that going after them would be a "happy marriage of justice with self-interest."

Washington and Brussels's insistence on painting themselves as saviors of Balkans Muslims from the evil, genocidal Serbs only serves to inflame the fires of jihad. Any help from the West is dismissed by Muslim militants as ineffective and belated, while the notion of Muslims threatened by genocide is exploited to the fullest to swell the ranks of the mujahedin.

There is something disturbing about how Karadzic's arrest is being cheered by slimy Eurocrats, Imperial interventionists and frenzied jihadists alike. Either he actually is a paragon of evil – which, assertions and allegations notwithstanding, there is little evidence for – or the three most destructive forces in the world today can agree on somebody (or a whole nation of somebodies, rather) they all love to hate.

Which makes the current Serbian government's talk of a bright future ahead just a bit naïve.

Violence mars pro-Karadzic rally

At least 10,000 supporters of the former Bosnian Serb leader, Radovan Karadzic, have demonstrated in Belgrade to protest at his arrest.

Clashes broke out between police and small groups of protesters during the final speeches at the rally organised by the nationalist Radical Party.

Several people were injured as riot police fired tear gas at protesters armed with rocks and burning flares.

Mr Karadzic is expected to be sent to the war crimes tribunal in The Hague.

He was arrested in Belgrade a week ago after 13 years on the run.

The rally in Serbia's capital was the first mass demonstration since Mr Karadzic's arrest.

One eyewitness, Henry Langston, told the BBC that the rioters, mainly young people, attacked police with metal poles, dustbins, anything they could get their hands on.

Police used rubber bullets and tear gas after about 100 protesters tried to breach a security cordon. A number of protesters and policemen were reported hurt

Bosnia's Problem
Itself

by Nebojsa Malic

A fascinating media phenomenon could be observed last week, following the arrest of Radovan Karadzic, wartime leader of the Bosnian Serbs. Anyone who was even tangentially involved in the 1990s events in Bosnia rushed forth to offer their thoughts; ex-diplomats and politicians, journalists and commentators used Karadzic's capture as an opportunity to remind the world not so much of the tragedy of Bosnia, but of their role in it. For all of their talk about the "Bosnian victims" and humanitarian compassion and "bombs for peace," the braying choir of self-righteous phonies made it obvious it was all about them. Everyone who had, in Chris Deliso's immortal phrase, invested heavily in the Bank of Collective Serbian Guilt, showed up to claim a dividend.

Politics of Fear

The most facetious displays of self-aggrandizement dressed themselves up in the cloak of concern. It did not take long for the BBC, for example, to claim that Karadzic's arrest "casts a shadow over Bosnia's fate." Even though just last week it was argued that the Inquisition's capture of the Bosnian Serb leader was a "triumph" over nationalism, it has all of a sudden become a boost to the nationalists!

An exemplary prophet of gloom was Paddy Ashdown. This former viceroy of Bosnia claimed on the pages of the Observer on Sunday that "there is a real threat of Bosnia breaking up again." He pointed the finger squarely at the Serb Republic ("Karadzic's creation") and its Prime Minister, Milorad Dodik, charging him with "aggressively reversing a decade of reforms." Said Ashdown:

"He has set up the parallel institutions and sent delegations to Montenegro to find out how they broke away. He has used the autonomy granted by the Dayton Agreement to undermine the Bosnia Dayton envisaged."

Those who know Bosnia, of course, find it hard to take baronet Norton-sub-Hamdon seriously. These are the exact same things he used to say when he ruled Bosnia (2002-2006) as a personal fiefdom, serving as the living embodiment of Lord Acton's dictum. He was wrong then, and he is wrong now.

Dayton, Revised

What sort of Bosnia was envisioned at Dayton, exactly? The agreement achieved at the U.S. airbase in Ohio in November 1995 ended the civil war by establishing a loose federation between the Serb Republic and the Muslim-Croat "Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina," with a minimal central government granted strictly limited powers. An international envoy, called "High Representative," was appointed to oversee the agreement's implementation.

However, in 1997 the "Peace Implementation Council" – composed of Western countries that backed the Dayton agreement – expanded the authority of the HR, making him a de facto dictator of the country. These "Bonn powers" were subsequently used to summarily dismiss elected officials, impose laws, change boundaries, create new entities (Brcko District), and effect "reforms" in the name of Dayton – even though the Dayton Constitution never actually authorized any of this. Then again, when has a "goddamn piece of paper," be it the one from Philadelphia or the one from Ohio, ever stopped those that crave power?

Further complicating things was that the warring factions in Bosnia perceived Dayton differently. For the country's Serbs and Croats, it was the vindication of their wartime goal to secure territorial autonomy and protection from Muslim domination. For many Muslims, however, it was a temporary setback to the dream of a centralized, unified state they could dominate through superior numbers. Fighting may have ended in 1995, but the subsequent Bosnian politics was, to paraphrase Clausewitz, war by other means. Efforts to centralize Bosnia under the viceroys inevitably played into the hands of Muslim nationalists, even as Serb and Croat nationalists were blamed for all the ills that still plagued the country.

Ashdown talks about how Dodik's actions go against the "Bosnia Dayton envisaged." Even a cursory reading of the actual agreement, though, is enough to conclude precisely the opposite. It was in fact the succession of viceroys that claimed to pursue the "spirit" of Dayton, contrary to its letter. The protesting Serbs and Croats were simply told, "I am altering the deal; pray I do not alter it further."

The Better Half

Just a day after Ashdown's article in the Observer, however, an unlikely rebuttal appeared. Writing on the Guardian's online op-ed board, Ian Bancroft argued that "Ashdown's scaremongering about [Bosnia's] future misses the real reasons for the state's fragility":

"From the fiscal frailty of [the Federation] to persistent discord amongst Bosnia's Croats, the country is beset by a number of other structural vulnerabilities that cannot be blamed on the country's Serbs."

While the government of Milorad Dodik that Ashdown so reviles has actually made the Serb Republic more prosperous and business-friendly, the Federation is almost broke. As Dodik himself described it to the Belgrade daily Politika this past weekend,

"The Serb Republic has a budget surplus; we have 1.3 million marks (650,000 Euros) in just the development fund… Our public spending is 36.7%... Our GDP is rising by 8% this year. In the Federation, their public spending is 63%, and their taxes are much higher. Our income taxes are 48%, and in the Federation they are 61%. Our corporate tax is 10%, compared to 30% in the Federation… We are the better half of Bosnia – why else would 427 companies from the Federation transfer their headquarters here, and become our taxpayers? Croat politicians dismiss the Federation as ‘charity state,' because most of its budget goes to welfare payments."

And this is without mentioning the millions of dollars in foreign aid that disappeared since 1996…

But this isn't just about the money. Bancroft's most devastating criticism of Ashdown implies that the former viceroy fundamentally misunderstood Dayton: "The pillars of the Dayton Agreement are group rights and autonomy, not centralization and the creation of a unitary system" The EU operates on the principle of subsidiarity, yet refuses to implement it in Bosnia! It boggles the mind.

Against the Official Truth

Bancroft's criticism of Ashdown – indeed, of Empire's entire approach to the post-war Bosnia – is not the only one that dared burst the official bubble of self-serving propaganda, hatred and fear-mongering, inspired by Karadzic's arrest. Two other essays appeared last week, challenging the dominant narrative of the Bosnian war and the perceived role of the West in it.

At the Brussels Journal, John Laughland explained the true war aims of the Bosnian Serbs, and described the commonly accepted story of aggression and genocide as "absurd." As if anticipating the argument Bancroft would make several days later, Laughland identified the issue crucial for peace in Bosnia:

"The Muslims continue to claim control over the whole of the territory of Bosnia-Herzegovina, while the Serbs merely want the preservation of their considerable autonomy within it."

But if the tropes of aggression and genocide are so evidently absurd, why did the West go along with them? Mick Hume at Spiked argues that it was a matter of self-absorbed projection. As the Cold War ended, activists in the West sought "salvation and a new sense of moral purpose" in a Balkans crusade:

"Journalists and politicians talked about Bosnia as ‘our Poland' or even ‘our generation's Holocaust', the battle against the Serbs as ‘our Second World War', a chance to emulate their fathers' noble fight against the Nazis.

"To justify this cause they had to turn the complex civil war in the former Yugoslavia into a simple act of genocide by [Serbs]."

Now that Iraq has punctured the bubble of interventionism, "The notion that they were taking a stand against the new Nazis in Bosnia and Kosovo has become just about the only thing the pro-interventionists can hold on to as proof that they are on the side of right."

A Myth, Serving a Lie

A clear, if disturbing, picture emerges at last. The myth of the Bosnian war was invented by those who sought to profit from it, and expanded until it overrode reality itself. The actual suffering and subsequent troubles of Bosnians – be they Muslim, Serb, Croat or anyone else – never really factored into any of this, except when they made good copy, sound bite, or TV clip.

Bosnia's real problem is that its communities cannot agree on whether they should live together at all, much less how; but they will never have a chance to even start meaningful dialogue so long as the Empire uses the myth of Bosnia to justify its tyranny of good intentions.

Karadzic could go on hunger strike

July 31, 2008 10:22 AM

BELGRADE, Serbia-Radovan Karadzic's lawyer says his client will go on hunger strike if he is not allowed to defend himself in his genocide trial.

Svetozar Vujacic says "it is his basic right to defend himself." He says Karadzic "will insist on that even if he has to go on hunger strike."

Vujacic was speaking in Belgrade as Karadzic appeared for the first time Thursday at the U.N. Tribunal in The Hague, Netherlands.

During the appearance, Karadzic waived his right to an attorney in the courtroom. Vujacic is part the legal team that plans to advise Karadzic outside the court.

Karadzic was arrested July 21 in Serbia after more than 12 years as a fugitive. He is charged with 11 counts of genocide, war crimes and crimes against humanity.

8 charged for war crimes in Montenegro

July 31, 2008 12:36 PM

PODGORICA, Montenegro-A Montenegrin prosecutor is charging eight former Yugoslav army soldiers with war crimes for allegedly killing 23 ethnic Albanians during the NATO air war against Yugoslavia.

The prosecutor in the northern town of Bijelo Polje says the eight "committed war crimes against 23 ethnic Albanian civilians who did not take part in the hostilities."

The statement says the crimes were committed during the 1999 NATO bombing of what was then Yugoslavia. The victims allegedly were killed while entering Montenegro from war-torn Kosovo.

NATO launched the war to stop a Serb-led onslaught against an ethnic Albanian uprising in Kosovo. Montenegro was part of Yugoslavia at the time, as was Kosovo.

The prosecutor on Thursday urged detention for the accused

BELGRADE, Serbia-A nationalist party says one of its supporters has died from injuries sustained in clashes with police during a rally last month against the arrest of war crimes suspect Radovan Karadzic.

Serbian Radical Party official Aleksandar Vucic has demanded that the police find out who was responsible for the alleged beating of Ranko Panic. Vucic claimed Saturday that Panic suffered serious stomach injuries which led to his death the day before.

More than 80 people were injured in the violence during rally in support of Karadzic.

The former Bosnian Serb leader was arrested by Serbia's pro-Western government on July 21.

Karadzic was later handed over to the U.N. war crimes tribunal in The Hague, Netherlands, which will try him for alleged genocide.

Wahhabi gathering held in Bosnia
August 18, 2008
A Wahhabi gathering was held over the weekend in a Bosnian village of Grmusa near the city of Bosanska Krupa where over 50 senior Bosnian Muslim wahhabi representatives met on the property owned by Fuad Vukovic.

"There is nothing to record. This is a private gathering and reporters are not invited," said leader to the interested media that was stopped by the Wahhabi security at the outskirts of the village.

A spokesman for the group who identified himself as Emir then told the media that the gathering is private and that its intent is to exchange ideas and to talk, mostly, about religious topics.

"We are only Muslims who practice Islam as did the Allah's prophet Mohammed," said Emir.

Emir said that, maybe, next year the gathering may be open to the media.

"They always connect us to terrorism, but what terrorism have we done?" questions Emir.

Grmusa was a Serbian village prior to war in Bosnia but it was overran by the Bosnian Muslim army who killed some of the civilians in the village then ethnically cleansed the remainder.

The confiscated property was given to the Bosnian Wahhabis.

Biden's son calls Serbs "thugs"

Quote:
Serbian nationalists bash Joe Biden

17:45 Fri 29 Aug 2008 - Clive Leviev-Sawyer

Barack Obama, the Democratic Party’s candidate for US president, indulged in a campaign swing through Europe. His vice-presidential running partner, Joe Biden, if tempted to do the same, may as well avoid Belgrade.

Memories run deep in the Balkans, but among Serbian nationalists, uppermost on their minds is that long-term senator and foreign policy committee figure Biden was strongly in favour of the 1990s bombing of Belgrade.

Popular Serbian newspaper Blic reminded its readers on August 28 that Biden was one of those who proposed resolution on bombing of Yugoslavia in 1999.

“He also believes that all changes in Serbia are the result of pressure from Washington.”

The newspaper quoted Obrad Kesic, an analyst in the US of Serbian origin, as saying the choice of Biden was especially bad for Serbia.

“I am expecting Biden to be even more engaged in lobbying over Kosovo,” Kesic is quoted as saying. Biden was a “severe opponent” of Russia, which could affect Serbia indirectly in view of its traditionally close relations with Russia.

In contrast to media in Kosovo, where in Pristina daily newspaper Koha Ditore said ”a great friend of Kosovo will enter the White House along with Obama if he wins”, website Serbianna.com carried a report alleging that former US ambassador to Romania Jim Rosapepe had said that he witnessed Biden shout at Romanian officials from whom he was trying to get information on Serbia and its politics so that Biden could “inflict political and diplomatic damage”.

Rosapepe says that the most extraordinary meeting Biden and him had was with the president of the Romanian senate, Petre Roman, whom Biden met before but this time "Biden grilled him on Serbian politics" and Roman "helped defeat Milosevic in the 2000 elections".

However, when Biden asked the Romanian delegation why Romania was seeking Nato membership, Biden was offended at the answer.

According to Serbianna.com, the Romanian said: “If we are in Nato, we won’t have to worry about Nato attacking Romania over our relations with our Hungarian minority the way you attacked Yugoslavia. Since Turkey has been in Nato for decades, you let them do what they want with the Kurdish minority”.

The website said that “Biden got visibly angry that former communist Romania had an existential reason for joining Nato, so Biden ‘rose from his chair, leaned across the table and said: “If that’s why you want to get into Nato, I'll make sure you never do!'”.

The Serbianna.com item alleged: “Biden has long been on the payroll of Kosovo Albanian extremists so that he can lend support for their desire to annex Serbian province”.

Another Serbianna.com item quoted Croatian priest Iliya Zivkovic as telling Croatian daily Jutarnji List that he was a friend of Biden and that he was a key figure that shaped Biden’s view that Serbs were exclusively to blame for events in former Yugoslavia.

“He [Biden] knew about Croatia... But I think that the most influential was my speech that I gave in Little Rock in front of the just elected Bill Clinton who called American minorities for a conversation,” Zivkovic was quoted as saying.

“In 45 minutes I explained why bridges must be bombed in Serbia, Belgrade... I believe that that it was very effective on Biden,” Zivkovic said.

As Democrats in the US observed the Republican attack machine spewing out against its candidates Obama and Biden, Serbianna had a hat-trick with an item online on August 29 – in the process managing to hit out at both Obama and Republican presidential nominee John McCain.

“Whether Obama wins or McCain, Serbs should expect that US will seek to destroy them, culturally, ethnically, physically, politically and diplomatically, tells us an analyst who fears to disclose his name because he will be witch hunted.”

The article continues by quoting its source as saying that for the past eight years, “Serbs in Kosovo have been killed like deer in season and US has approved every one of those murders because they've recognised such a state”.

“More Serbs are to die and the US will delight in the death of Serbs no matter who wins the presidency,” Serbianna quotes the source, which it describes as “close to government” as saying.

“No matter if it's Obama or McCain, many more Serbs in Kosovo will die and all churches in Kosovo will be leveled but any of the two will say that Serbs are genociders,” the website s

Albanian is actually a misnomer, there is no such thing as an Albanian anymore. Most Albanians (Illyrians) died or scattered attempting to resist the terrorist state of the past known as the Ottoman Empire. After 25 years of strong resistance Albania fell and was completely overwhelmed by a stream of brown scum which Turkey is characterized by. Albanians do not exist, the Turks who live in Albania today are not Albanians and they should go back to where they came from. Namely back to Asia! I wouldn't limit it to Turkey however because Turkey belongs to Greece. Turkey was inhabited by Greeks for thousands of years and gave rise to a civilization of Greeks. Turks should go all the way East to wherever they came from.

Turks should go all the way East to wherever they came from.
Shiptars do not even call themselves Albanian or their country Albania.
As for the Illyrians they were absorbed into the Slavic tribes. Illyrian blood is found in Serbs and Croats not filthy Asiatic mongrel shiptars who have absolutely nothing to do with the Illyrians or any other European peoples.

The pre-Balkan history
of the Albanians

In his book, "The Illyrians", John Wilkes states on pg: 219:

"NOT MUCH RELIANCE SHOULD PERHAPS BE PLACED ON ATTEMPTS TO IDENTIFY AN ILLYRIAN ANTHROPOLOGICAL TYPE AS SHORT AND DARK SKINNED SIMMILAR TO MODERN ALBANIANS."

Wilkes, having published this work in the early 90s ruined the earlier accepted theory that Albanians were the descendants of the Illyrians. Wilkes is the foremost authority on Illyrians in the world today. An anthropologist, archeologist, a published historian and Professor of History whose familiarity with Balkan archeology is first hand, Wilkes' conclusions lead to the conclusion that the modern descendants of the Illyrians may in fact lie in Bosnia, Serbia and Dalmatia. While Albanians do have Illyrian blood, Wilkes leads the reader to conclude that Illyrian blood and culture most definitely to be found to a greater degree than ever thought before, in Serb lands.

Since the origins of the Albanians are not yet known, I presented the following theory of mine on the origins of the Albanians to some history professors at the University of Toronto. They all agreed that my theory was most definitely possible:

In the republic of Georgia, in the Caucasus, on the terriory of the former Caucasian Albania, from where the Avar Khanate once had its capital, there is a village named: "Arnauti". This is the name by which Serbs, Greeks, Turks, FYR-Macedonians and Montenegrin Serbs refer to Albanians in their respective langauges. There is also village in Georgia named "Bushati" - which is the name of an Albanian tribe ("fis") around Lake Skadar. There are three villages named: "Geguti", "Gegeni" and "Gegi". "Ghegheni" is the name designated to Albanians who live north of the Shkumbi River in Albania proper.

The Albanians call themselves "Shqip-tari". This name is not Indo-European in origin and contains in it the Ural-Altaic suffix "ar" or "tar". Much like: "Khaz-AR", "Av-AR", "Magy-AR", "Bulg-AR", "Hung-AR", "Ta-TAR" - "Ship-TAR". Taken together with the Shqiptar-Albanian toponyms on the territory of the former Caucasian Albania, this theory on the etymology of "Shqipatr" becomes more plausable.

The original URAL-ALTAIC speaking Caucasian Shqiptar-Albanians were part of the AVAR KHANATE which had one of its early capitals in Caucasian Albania (hence Albanian topnyms there, the possible Ural-Altaic etymology of the suffix in the word "Shqip-tar" and the similarities in national costume with Caucasian peoples - the non-Indo-European Georgians, in particular).

The original Shqiptar-Albanian group of AVARS settled in Northern Romania and subjugated the Latin speaking peoples of that area when the Avars entered Europe and conquered most of its Eastern part. Over time they assimilated most of the Latin language of the people they conquered, but imposed their name on their new subjects - just like the Bulg-AR tribe did in Thrace. This explains why modern Albanian has simmilarities to the Romance languages of Romania. This Ship-tar Av-ar tribe, I believe, moved south as far as Epirus from where the Avars are recorded as staging their failed attack on Constantinople.

So, by the time the Avar Khanate was defeated by the armies of Serbs and Croats and Charles the Great in the 7th century, the Avars had reached south as far as EPIRUS from where they based this failed attack on Constantinople!!! In Epirus, this Shqiptar-Avar tribe assimilated the Illyrians and Hellens of Epirus, as they had done to the Latin speakers of Northern Romania more than a century earlier.

While the Avars were driven out of Europe by Charles the Great and killed off by Serbs and Croats in the Balkans in the 7th century, the Serbs NEVER REACHED the south of the Shkumbi until the LATE DARK AGES. The Shqiptar-Avars in Epirus and south of the Shkumbi were left unharmed.

Shqiptars began to spread north of the Shkumbi River quickly through migrations and assimilation into the lands that Serbs had conquered north of the Shkumbi soon after their arrival in the Balkans and their own assimilation of Illyrians. In the early Dark Age this process of assimilation was sped up as the Shqiptars took advantage of the early Serb kingdom's difficult war against the Bulgars. At this time, they took advantage of the distracted Serb state to move northward past the Shkumbi by assimilating the Serbianized Illyrians.

This process was continued until Stefan Dusan the Mighty, in whose time Latin priests at Bar begin to see, for the first time - expulsions of the Catholic Albanians, likely in retribution for their assimilation of Serbs north of the Shkumbi. Assimilation of Serbs and Albanian migrations further north of the Shkumbi continued after the death of Dusan and sped up drastically and by the time of the defeat of prince Lazar Hrebeljanovic on Kosovo Field in 1389, the Albanians had expanded by assimilating the Serb populace in most of what is now Northern Albania. Throughout the Ottoman Era Albanians expanded well into Kosovo, assimilating and driving out Serbs, mostly in the 17th century - when Arsenius Carnojevic led 36 000 ethnically cleansed Serbian families out of Kosovo. This process was a continuation of the ethnic cleansing Albanians had commited against Serbs since the EARLY DARK AGE expansions north of the Shkumbi.

Quote:
Another Theory on Albanian Origins

The Albanians are from the Caucasus, originally. Caucasian Albania was located on the eastern area of the Caucasus between the Caspian sea and the tips of the mountain ranges. Old Albania was known only for wild dogs and baren snow covered mountains, for which it recieved the name Albania by foreigners (Alba-white).

When Aleander the Great conquered Asia minor, he took with him the great leader of the Albanian tribes and gave him as a present an Albanian dog. Among other things, Caucasian Albania did not attract conquerors, because of its poverty and difficult terrain.

With the comming of the Arabs, they converted the Old Albanians in the 8th century to Islam. But meanwhile, at the time, the Arabs were waging campaigns in Sicily, dividing it into two parts, (hence there was the Kingom of the two Sicilies). In order to populate their part of Sicily, the Arabs brought with them Old Albanians from the Caucasus. To this day, their descendants live in Sicily.

Then in 1042, the Byzantine Empire attacked the yong Serbian state after having defeated the Arabs in Sicily and having brought the Sicilian Albanians under their command and christianizing them. The leader of the Byzantines who led the Albanians was named Georgius Maniakos. Maniakos brought Albanian mercenaries from Sicily to fight the Serbs and they settled in two waves in modern day Albania, first the mercanaries came, and then came the women and children. After the defeat of Maniakos, the Byzantines would not let the Albanians return, thus the Albanians requested that the Serbs let them stay on the land. They settled under mount Raban and the city of Berat and from this, the Serbs called them "Rabanasi" or "Arbanasi". The city of Berat was known as Belgrad also, before the Albanians came to settle there. They mostly tended sheep and cattle and lent themselves out to Serbian nobles as brave soldiers.

One of the GREATEST PROOFS that Albanians do come from the Caucasus and that THEY ARE NOT the descendants of the Ancient Illyrians is the Turkish name for the Albanians. "Arnauti", which means "those who have not returned" in Arabic, for the Turks were aware of the origins of the Albanians. And they truly did not return, they stayed in Serbian and Byzantine lands.

In turn, the Albanians did not use any of those names for themselves, but called themselves "shqiptari". The word "shqip" has many meanings in Albanian. It can mean "eagle" or "rocky hill". Austro-Hungarian anthropologists and philologists in early last century attempted to give the Albanians a noble character nd theorized that the "eagle" was the root meaning and totally ignored both modern Albania and Caucasian Albania as rocky, baren and poor places, which would allude to the notion of the former as being the root meaning for naming themselves.

Dutch block EU-Serbia trade deal

The Netherlands has blocked a move to unfreeze EU trade ties with Serbia, saying Belgrade's co-operation over war crimes suspects is not yet adequate.

"The outcome will only change when I conclude there is full co-operation," said Dutch Foreign Minister Maxime Verhagen on Monday.

The blow to Serbia came despite its arrest of former Bosnian Serb wartime leader Radovan Karadzic in July

From Pristina to La Paz
The Balkanisation of Bolivia

.George Bush sent to Bolivia his Ambassador of Ethnic Cleansing [original title translated from Spanish]

He presented his credentials before President Evo Morales on October 13, 2006; but three months before his arrival in Bolivia, when he was still in Pristina fulfilling his role as head of the US mission in Kosovo, it was already being said that the new US ambassador designated by George Bush for this Andean country, Philip Goldberg, would come to take part in the separatist process that was being cultivated in the background to pierce the Bolivian regime.

On July 13, 2006, the journalist for El Deber of Santa Cruz, Leopoldo Vegas, published a report indicating that "in the view of three political scientists interviewed after learning about the White House's decision, the experience acquired by Goldberg in eastern Europe which produced ethnic conflict after the separation of the former Yugoslavia can be used in Bolivia, using as an opportunity the changes that the government itself is trying to introduce."

One of those interviewed by Vegas was the academic Róger Tuero, former head of the Political Science department at Gabriel René Moreno Autonomous University (Uagrm) in Santa Cruz, who stated that characteristics of each ambassador are determined by US diplomacy. "It's not by chance that this man was moved from Kosovo to Bolivia," said Tuero.

Ambassador Goldberg today is one of the principal political and logistical supporters of still-Governor of Cochabamba, Manfred Reyes Villa, who created the worst ethnic, social, regional, and institutional crisis one can remember in the history of the Republic of Bolivia.

Who is Philip Goldberg?

According to the curriculum vitae officially distributed by the United States Embassy in La Paz, Philip Goldberg was involved from the beginnings of the civil war in Yugoslavia that erupted in the nineties, until the fall and prosecution of Serbian president Slobodan Milosevic.

Between 1994 and 1996 he was the State Department's "Bosnia Desk Officer", at the point when the conflict between Albanian separatists and Serbian and Yugoslav security forces erupted.

During the same period, he served as Special Assistant to Ambassador Richard Holbrooke, who was the author of the disintegration of Yugoslavia and the fall of Milosevic. "In the latter capacity" – states the Embassy - "he was a member of the American negotiating team in the lead-up to the Dayton Peace Conference and Chief of Staff for the American Delegation at Dayton."
Ambassador Goldberg was also a political-economic officer in Pretoria, South Africa, and later a consular and political officer at the US Embassy in Bogotá, Colombia, where he began to become interested in Latin American politics.

After exercising his charge as Deputy Chief of Mission at the US Embassy in Santiago, Chile from 2001 to 2004, Goldberg returned to the Balkans to direct the US mission in Pristina, the capital of Kosovo, where he supported the prosecution in The Hague of the former dictator Milosevic (who died March 11, 2006).

From Kosovo to Bolivia

Before his transfer to Bolivia, Goldberg worked from Kosovo for the separation of the states of Serbia and Montenegro, which occurred in June of last year, as the last remaining aftertaste of the disappearance of Yugoslavia.

The disintegration of Yugoslavia unfolded during a bloody decade of civil war created to divide up through processes of "decentralization" and "autonomy" that which was finally imposed with the US military intervention and the presence of NATO and UN troops who occupied the Balkans to pacify the region.

The Yugoslav civil war had as its principal feature what is called "ethnic cleansing," which consists of the expulsion or annihilation of the traditional ethnic groups that make up the territory of Yugoslavia. The cruelest of this racial extermination occurred between the Serbs and the Croats.

Bolivia, only three months since the arrival of Ambassador Goldberg, began to suffer an exacerbation of racism and separatist autonomous movements, as in the Balkans, which was initiated from the eastern city of Santa Cruz, where the governing elite made up of, among others, Croatian businessmen, created a federalist movement called "Camba Nation."

One of the main Santa Cruz leaders of this separatist movement is the agro-industrial businessman and partner of Chilean capitalists, Branco Marinkovic, who in February 2007 became head of the Civic Committee of Santa Cruz, the entity behind the mobilization of pressure against the government of Evo Morales.

The separatist autonomous movement

The "Camba Nation" lumps together with Santa Cruz the departments [states] of Beni, Pando and Tarija (where one finds the largest reserves of natural gas in Bolivia), whose populations voted in favor of departmental autonomy in a referendum held in July of 2006, comprising the so-called "half moon" that represents the eastern half of the country.

The western departments of La Paz, Chuquisaca, Potosí, Oruro and Cochabamba voted "no" on autonomy, maintaining their direct link to the central government of Evo Morales and in effect separating the four autonomous departments of the "half moon."

This autonomous separatism – which should be recognized by the new constitution by virtue of a Law of Incorporation in the Constituent Assembly [the body drafting a new constitution] – was made worse by a off-the-cuff decision taken by former president Carlos Mesa in 2004, when the "Camba Nation" was creating pressure through city governments and civic strikes for the direct election of prefects (department governors). Previously, prefects were chosen directly by the president, maintaining the unity of the Executive Branch, a power that new president Evo Morales was not able to exercise and who is now obligated to govern almost completely separated from the four autonomous prefects.

In Cochabamba, a department that falls exactly between the east and the west – and where an alternative to separatism, with the proposal of mega-regional autonomy instead of departmental autonomy, began to gestate – its prefect, Manfred Reyes Villa, abusing his elected position, attempted to reject the results of the July 2, 2006, referendum and illegally force another vote in order to annex Cochabamba to the "half moon," breaking the fragile balance between autonomous and non-autonomous departments.

The attack in Cochabamba

Despite it being something decided by the ballot boxes, Reyes Villa tried to force a new autonomous referendum to unite Cochabamba with Santa Cruz, mobilizing the most conservative urban sectors of Cochabamban society.

The popular movement and above all the agrarian and indigenous organizations from the 16 provinces of this department, came to the city demanding an agrarian joint partnership in the prefect's administration in the face of the exclusionary, nepotistic and corrupt manner with which Reyes Villa governed from the city of Cochabamba (capital of the department), they arrived here to demand from the prefect a change in his politics.

Instead of seeing to the just demands from the provinces, Reyes Villa encouraged the organization of a group of fascist youth, advised by the Santa Cruz Youth Union (UJC) which operates in Santa Cruz, with the objective of "expelling the Indians from the city." In this manner erupted the tragic day of January 11, 2007, when a violent attack was provoked, culminating in two dead and 120 gravely injured; the majority being farmers. In pursuit of the truth, the September 14th Plaza (the prefect's seat and symbol of departmental power) has been occupied by more than 50,000 indigenous from the 16 provinces, demanding the resignation of Reyes Villa.

The day that thousands of "daddy's sons" carried out the attack armed with clubs, baseball bats, golf clubs, iron tubes and firearms, Reyes Villa abandoned the city and headed to La Paz to meet with the four autonomous prefects and individuals from the US Embassy.

Though the government could have opened many spaces for dialog, Reyes Villa systematically refused meet with the provincial representatives, "self-exiling" himself in Santa Cruz, where until now he tries to transform the problem into an explosive national conflict, threatening the stability and democracy of this country, presided over by an indigenous man.

The CIA and Reyes Villa

The influence of the CIA and of Ambassador Goldberg on the political actions of Reyes Villa (a former captain of the army associated with the dictatorships of Banzer and Garcia Meza) is irrefutable.

The separatist prefect has systematically blocked a peaceful solution to the conflict and in its place has developed a raging campaign of misinformation that seeks to create the conditions for confrontation on a national scale.
The US Embassy is deploying an effort of collective indoctrination against the indigenous crisis, promoting racial hatred and separatism that was evident during the events of January 11, 2007, in unison with business organizations such as the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (Cainco) in Santa Cruz, which openly supports Reyes Villa and his "advisors."

But the US meddling during this conflict is not only occurring on the ultra-right, but also through the infiltration of the government of MAS [Movement Towards Socialism – Morales' party].

In mid-January 2007, the morning paper La Razón in La Paz published a photo which revealed the diversion of provisions and supplies belonging to the state Civil Defense body (that are destined for victims of natural disasters) to the farmers in the September 14th Plaza in Cochabamba.

It's been established that a former NAS agent (a DEA-financed anti-drug program) identified as Juan Carlos Chávez, who strangely functioned as an advisor to the Ministry of Justice, involved himself with Civil Defense without having the authorization to order the diversion of state resources. The photograph of the irregular act, taken by outsiders, was curiously published by a paper in La Paz, 650 kilometers from Cochabamba. Chávez was fired for the act and will have to make clear he is a former DEA agent exercising powerful influence inside the Ministry of Justice.

The media campaign to tarnish the indigenous mobilization in Cochabamba is part of a psychological war, CIA-style, and is one point in the separatist strategy headed from Santa Cruz by the still-prefect of Cochabamba, Manfred Reyes Villa.

The Balkanization of Bolivia seems to have begun..

Default Large Demonstration in Serbia

The White Nationalist organizations, “Blood and Honor” and “National Formation” are holding a large march in Belgrade on October 11. The Serbian police is already preparing provocations.

Please arrange your plans appropriately, if you intend to participate. Serbian White Nationalists needs all support they can get, since the destruction of democracy in Serbia and the accession of the nationalist government to power in the coming year is a real possibility.

Let's destroy the Serbian democracy together!

Serbia warns Montenegro over Kosovo

DUSAN STOJANOVIC
October 06, 2008 10:40 AM

BELGRADE, Serbia-Serbia's foreign minister on Monday warned its traditional ally Montenegro against recognizing Kosovo's independence, saying it would represent "a stab in the back."

Montenegrin officials indicated last week that the independence of Kosovo, the predominantly ethnic-Albanian province which split from Serbia in February, was a reality. They suggested Montenegro will recognize the new state.

The Montenegrin recognition of Kosovo would be a major blow to Serbia, because the two Balkan states have close historical and cultural ties. Montenegro was the only former Yugoslav republic that stayed in the union with Serbia after the federation broke up in 1991. Montenegro split from Serbia in 2006.

Serbia's Foreign Minister Vuk Jeremic said that Montenegro's recognition of Kosovo would lead to unspecified retaliatory measures.

"Serbia does not want to threaten anyone," Jeremic said.

However, he added: "Serbia will not sit with its hands crossed" if Montenegro follows 47 countries, including the United States and most European Union states, in recognizing Kosovo.

The U.S. and some EU countries have been urging Serbia's neighbors Montenegro and Macedonia to recognize Kosovo.

"We hope that Montenegro will not make a step that would jeopardize the peaceful and diplomatic process that is going through a delicate phase," Jeremic said, referring to Serbia's bid to question the legality of Kosovo's independence at the International Court of Justice.

Jeremic traveled Monday to New York for a U.N. General Assembly meeting which is expected to vote later this week on Serbia's request to seek the opinion of the court based in The Hague, Netherlands.

Why on Earth would Montenegro wish to recognize this criminal land annexation? Don't they still have an Albanian minority over there? Or did they voluntarily go back home?

The people of Montenegro have no say in this decision to recognize the illegal turkoalbanian land grab. The treasonous government of Montenegro gets its orders directly from the kikes in Washington. Some in the government also feel that by appeasing the albanian scum with this coming act of recognition Montenegro will not be next on the albanian list of ever growing territorial demands.

Unfortunately there is a growing turkoalbanian minority in Montenegro and they also have political influence. Montenegro also has many bosnian muslims, gypsies, croats and 'former' communists/liberals/leftists who all join together to vote against anything which can be seen as even slightly beneficial to Serbian interests. What we have in Montenegro is a classic case of 'tyranny of the minority' which with the help of America/EU imposes its will on the majority Montenegrins who of course are Serbian.

Gates Pledges Weapons, Aid For Kosovo Security Force

by Kristin Roberts and Fatos Bytyci

The United States will keep troops in the NATO peacekeeping operation in Kosovo until at least late 2009, Defense Secretary Robert Gates said on Tuesday.

Gates, the highest-ranking U.S. official to visit Kosovo since it declared independence, pledged to help build Kosovo's security forces by providing equipment and training.

"We got confirmation that the U.S. administration will support the building of the Kosovo security force," Kosovo President Fatmir Sejdiu told reporters.

Kosovo's ethnic Albanian majority declared independence from Serbia on February 17 in a move that had Western backing but was rejected by Serbia and its ally Russia.

The Pentagon chief met Kosovo's president and prime minister and discussed efforts to integrate minority communities and secure recognition for Kosovo's independence.

Some 47 countries have recognized Kosovo's independence, including the United States and most European Union countries. Sejdiu said he expected regional neighbors to recognize the independence declaration, including Montenegro and Macedonia.

"Very soon we will have new recognitions. A lot of countries are in the process of recognizing Kosovo," he said.

Serbian officials said that unless there are new talks on Kosovo's status, they might push for partition -- a plan Gates rejected. "I do not believe partition is a solution now or at any time in the future," he said. "The United States supports the territorial integrity of Kosovo
