The arrest in a double murder brings some relief to family members still dealing with the deaths of Timothy Henley and Natalie Nichols.

The pair was found shot to death in a car in Monroe County, Georgia earlier this month.

Right away, Henley's family knew he couldn't be involved in a murder suicide as police had suspected.

At first, investigators also thought it was just a horrible wreck.

Now that Joshua Barnes is in custody for murder reality is setting in.

Erin Presley, sister says, "Timmy left a positive influence on everyone he ever came in contact with. He loved to laugh and make you laugh with him. He had a contagious smile and loved kids."

In Henley's 33 years, he developed a passion for people, for motorcycles and for four wheeling.

It is those memories that will help his family get through this.

"Timmy is a Christian. He was very open about that. He'd preach to anybody," Presley said. "If one person was saved through all of this, it would be worth him getting to be where he is already. I know he wouldn't want to come back. He's in heaven. He wouldn't want to come back."

Henley's sister learned of Barnes arrest on Wednesday. Presley says the murder has touched the family at its core.

Constant communication with investigators did make the waiting easier. Life without him will be anything but.

"There's a lot of unanswered questions. At least, we have this closure. A lot of families never get what we've got in less than three weeks and that means a lot," Presley said. "It says a lot about the team down there working on this."

"We thank all of them down there for working so quickly. They got to the bottom of this much sooner than I ever thought."

Presley says the thoughts and prayers of friends is certainly being felt. She adds that she hasn't has to cook a meal for three weeks. Presley plans on attending all of Barnes's court hearings.
