Most of those who voted for Trashkowski are younger and live in urban areas. They have never been West and simply don't know how good they have it. In many, if not most, rual areas Duda wasted him with something like 85/15%. Duda recieved huge support from Poles abroad, those who know what liberalism really is and what it leads to.

Poles better be hyper proactive as the devil is at their doorstep just itching to get in. Trashkowski has vowed to "keep fighting." Keep fighting to destroy his own people and country that is, all for a few shekels and (((pats))) on the back.

It is a good sign, however, that he still lost despite having all sorts of financial and media support from Western globohomo entities. This election is another example of why democracy is only as strong as its weakest voter constituency. Seems there is no shortage of traitorious and destructive elements in every society. That is why any racially-centric state must be some type of totalitarian system. Otherwise it is only a matter of time until it is corrupted and ruined. The American Founding Fathers certainly had the correct idea about who should be able to vote but it did not take long to pervert it and now we see the deleterious effects.

WASHINGTON (JTA) — During my four years as the State Department’s Special Envoy to Monitor and Combat Anti-Semitism, I was exposed on numerous occasions to one of the great truisms of the past few centuries of Jew-hatred. There are two forms of evils that are frequently, inextricably linked— anti-Semitism and authoritarianism.

There is no better illustration of the relationship between rising authoritarianism and anti-Semitism than the recent presidential campaign in Poland.

The successful campaign of the ruling Law and Justice party to re-elect President Andrzej Duda was not just about Jews. It was a campaign that relied heavily on attacks against foreigners and minorities of all stripes, especially the LGBTQ community. Duda pledged to ban LGBTQ adoption and same-sex marriage. He said “LGBT ideology [was] more destructive than communist indoctrination.” The ruling party employed the slogan “LGBT are not people.”

They also displayed anti-Semitism in shocking, crude ways.

The Trump Administration, however, is in a unique position to make the re-elected government of Poland sit up and take notice. The Polish government relies on the United States for critical support on many issues, not the least of which is protection from potential Russian aggression. The Trump Administration has leverage to protect minorities in places like Poland.

The scapegoating of minorities for political advantage in the run up to the Polish presidential election can’t be undone. Yet we can use some of our influence to send a message to the Polish government and those political actors who would act similarly that there is a price to be paid for homophobic and anti-Semitic demagoguery.

That can’t be done by just handing out carrots like invitations to the White House. It’s time to use some sticks in support of human rights in Poland.

Poland: Globalist Opposition Demands Election Re-Run After Liberals Lose

Poland’s globalist opposition party has demanded a presidential election re-run after losing to patriotic incumbent Andrzej Duda.

Civic Platform (PO) on Thursday announced they had petitioned the Supreme Court to trigger an annulment and re-run of the election after losing to the Law and Justice (PiS) party incumbent 49 per cent to 51 per cent.

The liberal, establishment party’s spokesman told Reuters that the July 12th vote was unfair, alleging that the situation was “comparable to campaigning in Belarus and Russia”.

Government spokesman Piotr Muller dismissed the criticism, telling public radio that PO’s complaints were “examples of how difficult it is for [PO candidate] Rafal Trzaskowski’s staff to accept defeat”.

(JTA) — The city of Warsaw has accused an Israeli Holocaust museum of being involved in the smuggling out of Poland of Jewish prayer artifacts that the museum said were found inside an old bunker in the Polish capital.

The Shem Olam museum near Hadera announced this week that it had obtained 10 sets of tefillin, a religious object worn during morning prayers, found by construction workers in Warsaw near the entrance to a bunker dug by Jewish fighters in preparation for the 1943 Warsaw Ghetto Uprising.

The City of Warsaw has no knowledge of the find, a spokeswoman, Karolina Gałecka, said in a statement. She said that meant that if Shem Olam’s is telling the truth about what it obtained and where, “a crime has occurred” because Poland requires anyone who finds archeological items to report their discovery to authorities.

The latest ‘Lucky Jew’ figurines in Poland: Scented candles that are ‘good for financial success’

(JTA) — Even among Jews in Poland, few are shocked at this point by the popular figurines of haredi Orthodox Jews counting money that are sold there as good luck charms.

Yet even locals are pausing to take stock of the latest development on that controversial theme: scented candles that one retailer advertised as “giving a pleasant warm light during combustion.” Also, “The figure of the Jew is believed to be good for financial success.”

The Jewish candle phenomenon came to light earlier this month on a Facebook group called Życie Żydowskie, meaning “Jewish life.”

At least two firms, Beekeeping Łukasiewicz Center and the Łysoń Beekeeping Company, have offered the products online, according to Elżbieta Magenheim, the manager of Życie Żydowskie.

Multiple members of the Facebook group have expressed outrage because the product reminded them of how the Nazis had bodies of Jews burned in crematoria during the Holocaust in occupied Poland.

“Why don’t Jews buy land? Because you can’t cheat the earth,” Waldemar Wojciechowski, a representative of the right-wing Law and Justice ruling party, said at a meeting Tuesday of the council of the Lodz District.

The meeting was on a subject unrelated to Jews and Judaism, and Wojciechowski was quoting a saying to make a point about the need to be fair to farmers, the Gazeta news site reported Wednesday.

Polish university calls lecturer’s anti-Semitic blood libel part of ‘scientific discourse’

WARSAW (JTA) — A Polish lecturer who said that Jews had practiced “ritual murders” will not be reprimanded because his claims are the subject of “scientific discourse,” the university that employs him said.

An internal ethics panel made the decision not to take disciplinary action against Tadeusz Guz, a priest and faculty member at the Catholic University of Lublin, for a second time after again reviewing complaints over a 2018 speech he gave in Warsaw.

“We know, ladies and gentlemen, that the facts of ritual murder cannot be erased from history. Why? Because we, the Polish state, in our archives, in the surviving documents, have evidence spread across centuries when Jews lived together with our Polish nation,” he said.

2 more historians quit Auschwitz museum board over right-wing politician’s appointment

(JTA) — Two more members quit the board of Poland’s Auschwitz-Birkenau museum in protest after the government appointed a right-wing politician to serve on it.

Following the resignation of Jewish philosopher Stanislaw Krajewski on Wednesday, historians Marek Lasota and Krystyna Oleksy on Thursday announced they would do the same.

The culture ministry appointed Beata Szydlo, a former prime minister and top member of the country’s right-wing Law and Justice ruling party, to the board on Tuesday.

Lasota, who heads the Home Army Museum named for that anti-Nazi partisan group, is a Law and Justice supporter. But he said he is leaving for “similar reasons” to those cited by Krajewski, who called Szydlo’s nomination a form of “politicization” of the state museum. Oleksy did not give a reason for her resignation, according to the Polish TV channel TVN.

Polish government to give $50,000 to nationalist website headed by student who has made antisemitic comments

WARSAW, Poland (JTA) — The Polish government will give $50,000 to a nationalist organization headed by a student who was suspended from the University of Warsaw partly for hate speech against Jews.

Konrad Smuniewski’s Nowy Ład (or Nowy Order) website will receive the grant as part of the government’s annual funds to nongovernmental organizations.

In 2016, Smuniewski caused controversy for calling Jews “communists” and “Bolsheviks” at a Hanukkah party that featured Poland’s chief rabbi. He also wrote on Facebook that in Judaism there is “racism, xenophobia, hatred.”

A year ago he was suspended from the university after using offensive words for LGBT people and proposing that Jews should be chased out of Poland at a rally.

Krakow city official says good-luck figurines of Jews are ‘antisemitic’ and should not be sold

(JTA) — A spokesperson for the city of Krakow, Poland, condemned as antisemitic the figurines of Orthodox Jews that are on sale as good luck charms there.

“This figurine is anti-Semitic and it’s time for us to realize it,” Robert Piaskowski, the city’s alderman for cultural affairs, was quoted as saying during a meeting Thursday by the Gazeta Wyborcza daily. “In a city like Krakow, with such a difficult heritage and a painful past, it should not be sold.”

The statement follows a campaign by some Polish Jews to stop the sale of the figurines, which some locals treat as charms for increasing revenues. Many variation of the figurines and paintings of Orthodox Jews that are sold in Polish marketplaces and beyond have elements pertaining to money – typically the Jew depicted is counting money.

In Poland, a bill to limit Holocaust restitution advances in parliament

(JTA) — The Polish parliament has advanced a bill that would limit the ability of claimants to seek restitution for property they owned during the Holocaust, triggering a fresh diplomatic spat involving Israel and the United States.

Under the measure, which passed its first reading on Thursday, courts may consider appeals regarding administrative decisions only if they were made within the previous 30 years. That precludes any appropriations under communist governments, which confiscated and distributed much of the property owned by the 3.3 million Jews who lived in Poland before the Holocaust.

Among the 460 lawmakers in the Sejm, the lower house of the parliament, 309 voted for the bill, the PAP news agency reported. The ruling, right-wing Law and Justice party supported the bill, while the left-leaning Civic Coalition abstained.

The decision by Polish Justice Minister Zbigniew Ziobro to dismiss court officials without appeal violated their right to challenge their early removal from the posts, the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) has ruled.

Following a series of judicial reforms introduced by Poland’s ruling Law and Justice Party since 2015, judges Mariusz Broda and Alina Bojara were removed from their positions as vice presidents of the Kielce Regional Court without justification or the right to appeal their firing.

(JTA) — Members of an ultranationalist youth movement in Poland left tons of building debris outside the Israeli Embassy in Warsaw to protest Israel’s criticism of legislation that would limit restitution.

Members of the All-Polish Youth group left large chunks of brick walls on Wednesday with a sign reading “this is your property,” the Polska Times news site reported.

According to the site, the protesters were arguing that claims for restitution by Jews whose real estate and other possessions were confiscated after World War II pertain to places that largely had been destroyed during World War II and thus are worthless.

Donald Tusk has made a dramatic re-entry to domestic politics, after the former Polish prime minister and ex-president of the European Council was named the acting head of the opposition Civic Platform (PO) party.

Civic Platform’s national council elected Tusk vice-chair of the party, designating him acting head until an election to choose a party leader is held later this year. Tusk, who is currently chairman of the European People's Party – the EU’s largest coalition of center-right parties – co-founded Civic Platform in 2001. In recent years, the liberal party has struggled at the polls.

Speaking before a PO party conference on Saturday, Tusk said he was “back 100%,” and wasted no time in taking aim at his old nemesis, the ruling Law and Justice (PiS) party.

“The evil that PiS is performing is evident, shameless and permanent. It’s happening every day, in almost every matter,” Tusk said. He accused the government of violating women’s rights, climate change denial, and mismanagement of the coronavirus crisis.

The head of Poland’s ruling party has rejected criticism from Israel over a controversial new draft bill passed by Polish lawmakers concerning the return of Jewish property after World War II.

Poland’s large Jewish community was almost completely eradicated during WWII as the German Nazi Party organized the massacre of around six million European Jews in the Holocaust.

Many Poles, including Jews, had their property seized, some of which happened during the war, but much of it took place in the decades of communism that followed.

In June, Poland’s parliament gave its backing to a new bill which introduces a 30-year statute of limitations for property restitution claims.

The draft law has been heavily criticized for allegedly making it more difficult for Jews to recover former assets, including by Israeli Foreign Minister Yair Lapid, who branded it “a disgrace.”
