Who is Nielsen?

Nielsen is the world's leading provider of marketing and media information, including the Nielsen TV Ratings. You may have seen the Nielsen TV Ratings published in your local newspaper.

What are the Nielsen TV Ratings?

The Nielsen TV Ratings are reports used by local TV stations, TV and cable networks and advertisers to learn what different types of people watch on TV across the U.S. You may have seen stories about the top programs watched that week or how many people watched a special event like the Super Bowl.

How did you pick my home?

Your home was specially selected. Since we can't measure everyone, we used statistical sampling to make sure that everyone has an equal chance of being selected to participate in the survey. This way, the sample represents all homes in the United States.

What's in it for me?

By participatign, you will represent the viewing choices of homes in your area. No two homes watch TV the same way, so it's important that we include all types of homes in our survey. Nielsen homes come from all backgrounds, ages, cultures and neighborhoods. We count on you to represent this diversity.

Your participation really matters and makes a difference. Without your participation, TV stations can't have a complete picture of TV viewing in your area. Your viewing choices are important and deserve to be counted.
[the rest is assurances of confidentiality]

I sometimes do online surveys to pick up a few extra pennies, and that "Are you a Hispanic?" question is ALWAYS included - even separate from the checklist of other racial options.

Just glanced at this thread. I have recieved a post card, a letter and courier envelope from Nielsen ratings, but did not open them and was going to throw them out, but now I have to check for the cash.

How can any sane and awake man care about anti-White inciting violence TV media, when White men have gone to prison for decades for words.

The Rubber Hose media has criminally damaged the English speaking Nations and fully promoted an open border fully hostile invasion.

TV hates YT and has been hurling degradation on use full strength for over 50 years !

If you watch TV, because your White reporter, commenter fine, okay, but for rank and file Whites itz bad and itz anti-White, anti-freedom and pro war, and full of lies. What do you need to know from TV ?

Alex, if I had not read this post I would have dumped the Nielsen survey in the trash with out opening. Yest there was two one dollar bills in it crisp and with consecutive serial numbers too.

Told a friend today about that and he said he got one a few years back and it only had "one" dollar in the package. LOL.

The questions are as you posted.

Seriously what can said about TV is good ? TV has been subversive since day one, and became out right hostile as Hollywood did to US after JFK was ventilated, and especially when the criminal thug LBJ launched his various wars on US.
