Golf: I've been watching the British Open
It's been great to watch The Open without seeing the black/gook half-breed (Tiger Woods) and the sycophantic media fawning over him.

I was pulling for Mickelson but Stenson had a masterful performance with
a score of 20 under. I see that Spieth and McIlroy recovered somewhat in the final round. Spieth finished 2 over for the tournament. If you take away the very low scores of Stenson and Mickelson that is not too bad for a major (2 over). I didn't watch too much of NBC's coverage. I wouldn't be surprised if the commentators managed to fawn over Tiger despite his not playing.

It was on Sky over here as they beat the BBC for the rights. I like Mickelson and Stenson and it was a pity one had to lose. The BBC ignored Mickelson's winning final round at the 2013 Open to show Tiger Woods when he was far behind and out of contention.

The players are skilled but the game is boring to watch
Golfers have amazing ability, this is not even debatable. I can barely play putt-putt golf without getting frustrated. However, watching the sport is at least as boring as watching paint dry.
