A month or so ago I watched a Japanese movie on one of the "movie channels" on the dish, one of those jobs you have to read the subtext on the screen because of the language. I don't know much about Japan, but if that movie was even remotely anything like how it is over there, it is small wonder there is not much crime.

It was a pretty good movie, even with having to read the subtext. Usually I don't last long with one of those. But this one was good. A cop movie. Pretty new, 2010 or 2011. Most of it was about two partners hunting down some kind of outfit. Pretty cool. Everyone smoking cigs. They pretty much roughed up everyone they came up with. The one partner was scrappy and was the one doing most of the roughing up of everyone. One scene he whipped up on some drug head after the guy wouldn't talk to them. At one point the cops had someone at the police station "questioning" him. They had him laid out on some kind of table-chair-like contraption; his shirt off, his hands bent back around the table handcuffed underneath and a towel over his face, beating bloody hell out of him, lol.

An interesting read, thank you for posting it. In my experience with observing some countries and how they deal with issues like weapon control, in particular, obviously gun control; there seems to be an interesting dynamic that illuminates itself and something that you probably won't see as much in the USA or Switzerland.

The gun control laws do a few things that ironically hamper such a society as they know it. I'm sure everyone has heard of the Yakuza as well as similar crime organizations like the Triads in China and even Korean mafias. In their home countries, these organizations are quite open about their affairs to the public and can simply do what they wish with the general public with the knowledge that there's not much that they or local police can really do about it without some incriminating evidence. For these organizations as you'd guess, it's really no problem obtaining firearms and other contraband and furthermore it's not an issue to flaunt it without a real second thought to their own will.

Especially in countries like Japan, it sort of becomes a free reign of taking what you wish and how you wish. Japan is already a society that plays elitist with itself to where failure amongst simply not getting into college or not holding a job creates an alarming suicide rate. While gun laws can be seen as a sort of evil to most of the world, one must be prepared for the repercussions it causes. As long as there's someone with the will to do so, they can get a gun. They can pick up a knife or drive a car straight into a crowd of people - check the statistics in those countries that hold such strict gun laws and learn some of the criminological mapping. I think you'll find some interesting things like the article highlights at some points.

Default Japanese PM visits war dead shrine

Can't find a non hysterical MSM source for this news item.

Japan's prime minister Shinzo Abe paid his respects today at a shrine honouring Japan's war dead.

The visit to the shrine, which honours 2.5 million war dead including convicted war criminals, appears to be a departure from his "pragmatic" approach to foreign policy, in which he tried to avoid alienating neighbouring countries.

It was the first visit by a sitting prime minister since Junichiro Koizumi went in 2006.

Mr Abe, wearing a formal black jacket and striped, grey trousers, spent about 15 minutes at the Shinto shrine in central Tokyo.

TV cameras followed him inside the shrine property, but were not allowed in the inner shrine where he paid respects to the war dead.

"I prayed to pay respect for the war dead who sacrificed their precious lives and hoped that they rest in peace," he said after his visit.

SAD is multicurtural nation (racial and national) and normal is that they have much more violence with weapons than Japan. I don't know with racial question in Japan but I can draw conclusion that in Japan is this question better than in SAD and that is reason why in Japan we have lower murder with wepon than in SAD.
All colonized countries with whites can only unite in colonised territory within race-this is strong unpopular worldwide, but Japan can within his people, country and his own race (people in Japan always can speak about loyal his country If the want protect his race, and not only Japan, that can all all nations who are not colonized-National Socialism is only the answer).
First what white people in SAD must known is race question (If they understand this-that will be big job for better furure),and promote separation whites of non-whites (in situation today they can't this because jews control money).
I don't know how many people in whites colonized areas love his country and have understand that he must "forget" his offical roots who they have in Europan countryes, because If they love his offical nation than they will be better that they go back in Europe, but If they don't have this opinion, they must be National Sociast. In general colonized areas is really specific but SAD is the most specific because they are many union with many countryes, maybe some people can say "I love Texas and my opinion is that Texas must be separate of SAD and all non-whites"-I think that you understand me.
Best would be that the nations is homogenous and apply principles Germany for Germans,Italy for Italian etc.-with limited number of foreigners (non-whites can't live as foreigners-they can't live in general in white country in my vision).

LAST month a local official in Aichi prefecture set out a daring proposal. Tomonaga Osada suggested that the authorities could distribute secretly punctured condoms to young married couples, who would then get to work boosting the birthrate. His unorthodox ploy won few supporters, yet it reflects a gathering concern about Japan’s demographic plight. Last year just over 1m babies were born, far fewer than the number needed to maintain the population, which is expected to drop from 127m to around 87m by 2060. Why are young Japanese so loth to procreate?

The spiral of demographic decline is spinning faster as the number of women of child-bearing age falls. In May a report predicted that 500 or more towns across the country will disappear by around 2040 as young women migrate to bigger cities. The workforce is already shrinking, imperiling future growth. In recent years governments have embarked on a plethora of schemes to encourage childbearing, including a “women’s handbook” to educate young females on the high and low points of their fertility, and state-sponsored matchmaking events.

The chief reason for the dearth of births is the decline of marriage. Fewer people are opting to wed, and they are doing so later in life. At least a third of young women aim to become full-time housewives, yet they struggle to find men who can support a traditional family. In better economic times potential suitors had permanent jobs as part of the “lifetime employment” system. Now many hold down temporary or part-time work. Other women shun marriage and children because Japan’s old-fashioned corporate culture, together with a dire shortage of childcare, would force them to give up their careers. Finally, young people are bound by strict social codes. Only around 2% of babies are born outside marriage (compared with 30-50% in most of the rich world), which means that as weddings plummet, so do births. Even for those who do start families, the rising cost of child-rearing often imposes a de facto one-child policy.

Thankfully there is little the government can do directly to boost productivity in the bedroom. Yet labour-market reforms could make a difference to the birth rate in the long term. If companies gave greater protections to new, young hires in return for lessening the privileges of other employees, young couples would have a more stable basis on which to marry and raise families. So far the government of Shinzo Abe has talked about such steps, but shied away from taking them. Instead Mr Abe is acting to help women combine careers with children. Many demographers reckon it is already too late to lift Japan’s birthrate, now at 1.43 children per woman. The eventual answer, they say, will be more shocking even than spiked prophylactics: mass immigration.

Default Japan radioactive drone: Tokyo police arrest man

A man who flew a drone carrying radioactive sand on to the roof of the Japanese prime minister's office has been arrested, Tokyo police say.

Yasuo Yamamoto, 40, was protesting over the Japanese government's nuclear energy policy. He turned himself in late on Friday, police said.

No-one was hurt. Prime Minister Shinzo Abe was out of the country.
The drone landing triggered a security alert and raised fears of extremists using drones to carry out attacks.

The small amount of sand in the drone - which was equipped with a small camera - carried traces of radiation.

Police said the radioactive material was likely to be caesium but the levels were too low to be harmful to human health.

Japan does not yet regulate regulate low-altitude drone flights except around airports. However, officials are looking into changing the law as the remote-controlled devices become more popular.

Japan shut down all 48 of its nuclear power plants after the tsunami and earthquake in March 2011 which wrecked the Fukushima power plant.

Previously, about 30% of Japan's power was nuclear-generated.

Prime Minister Shinzo Abe has lobbied for a restart, arguing that the shutdown has hurt the economy by forcing Japan to import expensive fossil fuels to make up the power shortfall.

But public anxiety about the safety of nuclear power remains high.

None of the plants has yet re-started. However, last week a Japanese court rejected an attempt by local residents to halt the restart of two nuclear reactors at the Sendai plant in Kagoshima prefecture.

I never watch TV, but I think I want to see a part of this program. It would be something if a Dutch edition comes.

In Japan, migrant raids and deportations turned into TV entertainment

AS JAPAN predicts a rise in the number of immigrants and foreign tourists in the coming years, a new television show has turned migrant deportations into entertainment.

The program provoked some outraged viewer reactions and insights about the plight faced by visa overstayers and undocumented migrants in Japan.

“At the very moment they were deported” in English, premiered on Fuji Television in a Saturday evening prime time slot on Oct 6, 2018.

Using a typical reality show format, the two-hour program follows a group of so-called “G-Men”, or immigration officers, employed by the Tokyo regional office of the National Immigration Bureau as they hunt down visa overstayers and so-called “illegal aliens” on camera.

In one segment, the immigration officers stake out the apartment of a Vietnamese man suspected of violating the conditions of his trainee visa. He and two others are arrested and interrogated on camera before being deported 24 hours later.

In another segment, the immigration officers storm a factory and detain a group of Indians suspected of being undocumented workers — the owners of the factory never appear on camera.

A final segment investigates the problem of Chinese “squatters” who have set up a vegetable patch on public land on an isolated stretch of riverbank in Kyoto.

More info here.

South Korea condemns Japan's 'flag of hatred' in seeking ban at Olympics

Dec 9, 2019

The South Korean government, in a tweet last week, called Japan's "rising sun" flag a "flag of hatred," continuing a campaign to get the flag banned from being unfurled at game venues during next year's Tokyo Olympics.

The flag, which typically features a red sun and rays radiating outward, is regarded by some as a symbol of Japanese aggression and militarism, as it was the flag of the Imperial Japanese Army and Navy. Spectators sometimes unfurl it at sporting events in Japan and abroad.

I thought Koreans had a little more honor than to cry like pussy little faggots about a flag being a hate symbol.

Hiroshima Timeline project under fire for racism, fabricated history

Aug 25, 2020

An innovative NHK project about the August 6, 1945 bombing of Hiroshima has come under scrutiny for using racist epithets to describe Koreans, political interference, and for potentially fabricating historical source material.

NHK's Hiroshima Timeline project, dubbed, “What If They Had Social Media In 1945” (もし、75年前にSNSがあったら) features tweets based on the diary entries of three people who lived through the bombing of Hiroshima in August, 1945. Regular people in Hiroshima, including high school students, have helped write the daily tweets and hundreds of thousands of people have followed along and engaged with the project on Twitter. Daily tweets about life in Hiroshima in 1945 are planned until the end of 2020.

I wonder who is paying the money is being stolen from for all these thousands of "asylum seekers" to fly into the world's airports and just for how long they have been doing it.
