Russian posters
Learn to do everything yourself! (1954) Not a single drop! (1961) "портвейн"="port wine" I'm proud of my son (1941) The people's dreams have come true (1950) On the wall hangs the picture of Repin Barge Haulers on the Volga - https://vnnforum.com/showpost.php?p=...4&postcount=16 The boy holds the book of the poet Nikolay Nekrasov in his hands. Most of his work is devoted to the description of the hard life of the poor. The literate man teach the illiterate man! (The 1920s) I will not post here anti-fascist and anti-American posters. I will do it only if I am asked to do so.

Great thread Alex!
For me it shows Russia since 1930s has always been White country and this art demonstrates it in the best way possible. Honestly working people, traditional families and moral issues, White children as a hope for the future - is what we need today. |

I agree, quite interesting as an historical study. Good artwork, too.
Some forum members would be bothered by something anti-fascist, but anti-American posters like from the Cold War period would not offend me personally. You might want to get Linder's or Varg's approval first with anything that could be sensitive.

Personally Who gets the national income? In the USSR it goes to all working people. In the capitalist countries, the lion's share falls to the exploiters. In 1950 the national income is more than 60% higher than the pre-war. (1950) On the button hangs a box of sweets (for the wife). One of the goods in the his hands from a children's store. IN USSR: In 1951-1955, the construction of urban and rural schools will increase by approximately 70% compared with the previous five-year period. "школа закрыта"="The school is closed" IN USA: The budget allocates 1% for people's education and 74% for military spending. In the United States there are more than 10 million illiterates. About one-third of school-age children do not study. (1950) They have abundance only for the rich and we seek abundance for all. About 20 million Americans do not have the means to buy more than one liter of milk per month and more than 6 kilograms of meat per year. (1957) 200,000,000 dossiers in the US FBI for surveillance of dissidents (?) Help starving in the American style (?)

USSR was fighting against ZOG in it's last days , sadly with backing of Yeltsin by the West and engineered war in Afghanistan , USSR fell similar to Third Reich when they had to use same tactics.

Religion is poison. Protect children from it. "школа"="school" (1930) Military service in the Red Army is an honorable duty of the citizens of the USSR. (1939) DUTY OF ALL WORKERS: To transform every house and every street into an exemplary sanitary condition. Green plantations [i.e. bushes, flowers, trees] are one of the essential conditions for strengthening the health of workers. Our task is to create a green healthy city. (?) 1st of January Happy New Year! (?, obviously 1938) No! (1954)

"Soviet" it means excellent quality (?) I will work again! The law on pensions to members of the collective farms provides for the encouragement of those collective farmers who, after the appointment of pensions, do not leave work on the collective farm. (1964) Soviet power is a million times more democratic than the most democratic bourgeois democracy [this is a quote from Lenin] (?) Healthy parents are healthy offspring. Check your health before you get married. When pregnancy occurs, contact a medical woman consultation and strictly follow all the doctor's instructions. Avoid extramarital sex because they lead to dangerous venereal diseases. Your sexually transmitted diseases threaten the life and health of your offspring. (1948) Glory to Soviet scientists and technicians! (?)

The train goes from the station Socialism to the station Communism. The schedule of the executed movement of the Bolshevik train: 1900 - The Spark [This is a revolutionary illegal newspaper founded by Lenin. It was established in 1900. The spark was "an all-Russian political newspaper that prepared the ideological and organizational unity of the party"] December 1905 [The Russian Revolution of 1905 was a wave of mass political and social unrest that spread through vast areas of the Russian Empire, some of which was directed at the government. It included worker strikes, peasant unrest, and military mutinies. It led to Constitutional Reform including the establishment of the State Duma, the multi-party system, and the Russian Constitution of 1906.] 1912 - Truth [Pravda (Truth) is a Russian broadsheet newspaper, formerly the official newspaper of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union. The newspaper began publication on 5 May 1912 in the Russian Empire, but was already extant abroad in January 1911. It emerged as a leading newspaper of the Soviet Union after the October Revolution. The newspaper was an organ of the Central Committee of the CPSU between 1912 and 1991] October 1917 [The October Revolution, officially known in Soviet literature as the Great October Socialist Revolution, and commonly referred to as Red October, the October Uprising, the Bolshevik Revolution, or Bolshevik Coup was a revolution in Russia led by the Bolsheviks and Vladimir Lenin that was instrumental in the larger Russian Revolution of 1917. It took place with an armed insurrection in Petrograd on 25 October (7 November, New Style) 1917.] Socialism. The current schedule: Departure station is Socialism. Destination station is Communism. The experienced engine driver of the locomotive of the revolution is Comrade Stalin. (1939) Fly highest of all, farthest of all, fastest of all (1954) Learn to defend your homeland! (1947) Mothers, do not abandon your children! Go to councils of social assistance there will help you. (1925) We will ensure a high harvest in 1944. We will give the front and the country more food.
