LANCASTER, Pa.- After an investigation into the Saturday evening assault, investigators are searching for a suspect they believe who is responsible.

Dajour Ari James, 22, of Lancaster was identified via a video that a witness at the scene had recorded. James was observed approaching the victim, Charles Henry Kronenberg IV, and then striking them on the left side of the face while holding a beer can. James proceeded to drag the victim across the ground before continuing to strike him, and then hit him in the area of the head two or three more times.

The victim has suffered a serious brain injury, as well as a fractured right orbital bone. All of the injuries are believed to be from the blunt force trauma to the head, caused by James' blows. The victim's condition continued to deteriorate until he died on Sunday afternoon as a result of his injuries.

LAKEVILLE – Police in Lakeville are asking the public for help after surveillance footage captured a man holding a bank employee at gunpoint Monday morning.

Authorities say the armed man entered the Bridgewater Savings Bank on Main Street at 11:35 a.m. and demanded cash. Photos shared by police show the man with a gun in his hand and his other arm around a woman’s neck.

“The demeanor of the suspect seemed very calm, cool and collected, which can be even scarier,” said Lakeville Police Chief Frank Alvilhiera.

Police are offering a reward for any information leading to the man’s arrest.

A judge set bond at $2 million today for a Toledo man who was accused of killing a woman and seriously injuring her husband Saturday in West Toledo.

During his arraignment in Toledo Municipal Court on charges of murder and attempt to commit murder, Michael Dean, 32, of the 3500 block of West Alexis Road, was ordered held in the Lucas County jail in lieu of the bond pending his next court appearance Tuesday.

Mr. Dean is accused of fatally stabbing Suzanne Dixon, 51, and cutting the throat of Bruce Dixon. Mr. Dixon, whose age was not available, was also stabbed “multiple times,” according to court records.

Neighbors have said Mr. Dean and one of the Dixons’ daughters have a child together

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Bibb County Sheriff’s deputies made an arrest in connection to the shooting death of Deleon Wiley Hudson.

According to a news release, 20-year-old Torrance Deon Rouse of Dublin charged with murder in the 43-year-old’s death. Rouse was picked up at a location in Montrose around 10:30 a.m., Friday.

Hudson’s body was set on fire in a brown 2002 Nissan Xttera after being fatally shot.....

HOBE SOUND — The ex-husband of a missing central Florida woman has been arrested on second-degree murder and child neglect charges.

During a news conference Wednesday morning, Martin County Sheriff William Snyder said 30-year-old Steven Williams confessed to killing Tricia Todd in April. The Air Force airman was arrested Tuesday in North Carolina.

She was last seen at a Publix supermarket on April 26 and reported missing the next day.

Snyder wouldn’t say how Todd died. Her body hasn’t been found, but Snyder says officials are redoubling their efforts to find her remains.....

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. – The second suspect in the murder of a popular bartender and musician appeared in a North Charleston courtroom Monday.

Jahmal Green Jr., 18, but who was 17 at the time of Eric Brantley’s killing, was denied bond for murder and armed robbery on Monday.

The first suspect, De’Andre Murphy, also 17 at the time of the alleged crime, was arrested on Wednesday, April 27.

Authorities found Brantley, who had been fatally shot, on April 20 behind the Sparrow Bar in North Charleston......

The Taylor County District Attorney's Office on Friday charged a 36-year-old Charles Newman with murder in the shooting death of a 27-year-old woman last week, the Abilene Police Department announced.

Police arrested Newman on May 19 on suspicion he used the identity of Kendra Keppler, the dead woman, to obtain money from her bank account. He was charged with fraudulent possession of identifying information, a third-degree felony, for which bail was set at $10,000. He had also violated his parole.

Police found Keppler's body in a residence in the 3900 block of Whittier Street on May 18. Her body was decomposing and appeared to have been there for several days, according to a police affidavit......

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Sacramento police released a description Monday of a man who they believe was responsible in the death of another man during a music festival at Discovery Park.

Witnesses told KCRA that the 31-year-old victim was "sucker punched" Sunday afternoon, and when he hit the ground, he immediately turned gray and blue.

The coroner identified the victim Tuesday as Thomas Noble. He was a part-time package handler for UPS in Sacramento.

"And the people who were fighting were just going at it beating each other, like nonstop," said Miguel Rava, who witnessed the incident.

Noble became unresponsive and was pronounced dead at a hospital just before 9 p.m., police said.

Police are searching for a man who is described as being in his mid-20s, 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing 175 pounds. ......

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- An 18-year-old Kansas City man has been charged in connection with the fatal shooting on April 3 of Jacob Brantner, Jackson County Prosecutor Jean Peters Baker announced today.

Fazon K. Swinton faces 2nd degree murder, 2nd degree robbery, armed criminal action, and leaving the scene of a shooting.

According to court records, Brantner was meeting Swinton in the parking lot of a Price Chopper on East 63rd Street in Kansas City to sell him a handgun......

TAMPA - Hillsborough County deputies said they arrested a 44-year-old Tampa man Wednesday after finding the body of his roommate in his trunk.

Col. Donna Lusczynski said deputies were sent to a home on Thrasher Drive after the homeowner, who rents out rooms to Kydel Weldon, 44, and Tina Ryan, 45, found blood throughout the house.

When deputies arrived, Weldon and Ryan were missing. They eventually tracked Weldon down at a day labor business on Columbus Drive.


"As a deputy was talking to Weldon, she observed what appeared to be blood on his hands. She also observed what appeared to be blood on his clothes and pants," Lusczynski said.

Investigators said they also found a bloody knife.

When they opened the trunk, the discovered Ryan's body.

"The victim did suffer from blunt trauma to her head as well as multiple stab wounds to her upper body.......

Six men have been charged in the death of a Fredericksburg man who died more than four years after being attacked in the parking lot of Walmart in Central Park, according to the Fredericksburg Police Department.

On May 20, a special grand jury indicted the suspects, two of whom were juveniles at the time of the 2011 attack.

Each man faces voluntary manslaughter and malicious wounding by a mob, both felonies.

The suspects are:

Howard Vaughn, 23, of Fredericksburg, who has been arrested and is being held at the Rappahannock Regional Jail without bond.

Sebastian Irvin, 23, of Fredericksburg, arrested and also being held without bond.

Rashon Graves, 22, of Jacksonville, Fla.

Dequan Ellis, 22, of Fredericksburg.

Demetrious Walker, 23, of Spotsylvania County.

David Kerns, 24, of Stafford County.


The charges stem from the beating and eventual death of Stuart Cole, a 22-year-old Fredericksburg resident.

SALTON CITY, Calif. – Authorities have identified the man who was beaten to death during a home invasion.

Donald Tarker, 57, died after three men broke into a home and beat him along with three other people, according to Imperial County Sheriff’s Office (ICSO) Coroner Eric Frazier.

Officers say Kevin Scott, 35, Justin Alford, 29, and Aaron Jackson, 20, are suspected of breaking into the home and robbing the victims, Wednesday night.....

The Russellville Police Department identified the victim in a shooting death that occurred on Wednesday on James Circle as 39-year-old Rachel Michelle Chisum of Atkins.

The department also identified the suspect as 42-year-old William Edward Gray of Russellville......

AUTAUGA CO., AL - The death of a prominent Prattville resident on Tuesday has been ruled as a homicide and an arrest has been made in the case, according to Autauga County Sheriff Joe Sedinger.

Sedinger said Carol Parker Nunnery's body was found on Tuesday by an Autauga County resident on the edge of a pond on County Road 3, located off Highway 14.

Nunnery's vehicle was found in another location on Highway 14 in Prattville earlier Tuesday.

On Wednesday, Sedinger said the case is now classified as a homicide, and that Willie Foster was arrested by U.S. Marshals in relation to the case.

Sedinger says he believes Foster was doing some yard work for Nunnery, but a motive for the homicide still remains unclear.......

One man was shot and killed after a domestic dispute during a custody exchange in Stafford County, Virginia, Friday evening, according to the Stafford Sheriff’s Office.

Corey Terry, 27, is accused of shooting Austen Agnor, 20, from Chester, Virginia, at an Exxon gas station on Courthouse Road around 7:15 p.m. Terry and Agnor were supposed to meet at the Exxon to complete a court ordered custody exchange.

Investigators said during the exchange, a dispute began, and Terry fired multiple shot, hitting and killing Agnor.

Sixteen-year-old Michael White’s last words were a plea for mercy, authorities said.

In March, police said, White was on the ground in a park in western Michigan, beaten and bleeding from 20 “sharp force” and stab wounds across his body.

“Just stop, just leave me — just leave me here to die,” he cried out to his assailants, a Wyoming, Mich., police investigator testified Wednesday, according to the Detroit Free Press.

Then, detective D.J. Verhage said, one of the suspects, 15-year-old Carlos Delgado, watched the boy die.

“He stated he knew he was dead when he bent down to look at him,” Verhage said in court. “He wanted to know he was dead because he didn’t want him to somehow get away from all that and be able to snitch.”

White’s accused killers — Delgado and another 15-year-old, Quentin Schafer — reportedly tossed a broken knife and black brass knuckles into some leaves near White’s body before going home and stripping down, according to NBC affiliate WOOD. A witness told police that the two teens packed their bloody clothes into grocery bags.....

A man has been arrested after a 24-year-old woman he met online was found in a shallow grave.

Lashawn Johnson has been charged with murder after the remains of Angela Russo were discovered buried near her burnt-out car in Maricopa, Arizona.

She had been missing since April 19 when the pair met up after connecting on a dating website

LAKE CHARLES, LA - An arrest has been made in the 1998 cold-case homicide of donut shop owner Rose Born.

Rose Theresa Born, 45, was found stabbed to death at Paradise Donuts, 529 W. 18th Street, on July 8, 1998. She was killed around midnight and her body was found around 3:30 a.m.

Born was stabbed more than 30 times, including defensive wounds on her hands where she fought back, Lake Charles Chief of Police Don Dixon said at a news conference Wednesday afternoon. Born's 1993 Toyota 4-Runner was taken from the scene, but found about four miles away.

It was that defensive effort that led to an arrest, Dixon said. DNA found under her fingernails was submitted for DNA analysis in September 2015. A match was returned to Dennis Jerome Bartie, 35. Bartie is charged with second-degree murder.

Bartie confessed to the crime and said he had gone to rob her, Dixon said. Upon questioning from detectives, Bartie admitted to killing Born because he needed a ride home, Dixon said.

He was only 17 at time of Born's death.
