Serbia outlawed the 2011 Belgrade Pride parade at the last moment, fearing a repetition of the previous year's violence when dozens were injured and arrested as protesters opposed to the parade clashed with police. "The ban is imposed on the basis of security assessments," Milorad Veljovic, the director of police, said on Wednesday. Conservative societies across the Balkans have been slow to accept greater gay rights, and similar events across the region have often ended in violence. The three-month-old government, made up of nationalists and Socialists once led by late strongman Slobodan Milosevic, is under pressure to demonstrate its readiness to allow the parade and protect human rights to keep Serbia's bid to join the European Union on track. Boban Stojanovic, a gay rights activist and one of the parade's organisers, said the ban "has shown that the state has once again backed down before hooligans and violence". "Our problem is not that we will not march on Oct. 6, but how we will cope with persistent persecution," Stojanovic said. Swedish European Affairs Minister Birgitta Ohlsson said in a statement she had been due to give a keynote speech at the event and criticised the decision as "deeply troubling". "The rights of minorities, freedom of speech and freedom of assembly should be guaranteed in countries that are members of the European Union or applying to join," she said. Olhsson said she would still visit Belgrade on Friday and Saturday to meet gay rights activists and government officials. Patriarch Irinej, head of the Orthodox Church, called the event a "parade of shame". "It casts a heavy shadow on Belgrade, our centuries-old Christian culture and the dignity of the family as the foundation of the human kind." Irinej said Prime Minister Ivica Dacic should also ban an exhibition by Swedish photographer Elisabeth Ohlson Wallin that he said mocked Jesus as it showed him in women's clothes and high heels. Almost 2,0000 police in riot gear, aided by mounted officers and anti-riot vehicles, deployed in Belgrade as the exhibition opened in an area packed with embassies, government buildings and businesses. The area was cordoned off and only invitees and journalists were allowed inside. Outside, several dozen ultra-nationalists gathered to protest, shouting nationalist slogans and chanting hymns. "We oppose having so many policemen securing this shameful and anti-Christian exhibition," said Bojan Obradovic, a member of Dveri, a small ultra-nationalist party. The party said it would sue the organisers of the parade and the exhibition for inciting ethnic, racial and national hatred. U.S. disappointed with Pride Parade ban  WASHINGTON - The U.S. is disappointed with the Serbian government decision to ban the Belgrade Pride Parade for the second year in a row, the Washington administration has told Tanjug. A State Department official told Tanjug the U.S. supported strongly the rights of all individuals to peaceful assembly and free expression of their views, except nationalists adding that Washington was disappointed with the decision by the Serbian authorities. The U.S. puts great emphasis on human rights protection and freedom for all people, including the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transsexual community throughout the world, the official remarked.  Human rights belong to everyone and surpass all cultures and traditions, he added. The authorities in Serbia banned all public gatherings in Belgrade scheduled for Saturday citing security risks.

We have a Serbian friend of ours who has told us the zero tolerance many of his countrymen have towards faggotry. It always warmed my heart a bit to hear the tales of how the average citizen there aggressively rejects any homosexual "pride" or "rights" demonstrations.
Reminds me of the incident from Russia a while back. The still photos at the end of the vid are classic, and inspire hope that there are those who simply refuse to accept and bend over for the faggots - and the jews that are pushing this agenda. Germany criticizes Pride Parade ban Source: Beta BELGRADE -- German Foreign Ministry has stated that Germany is not understanding about the Serbian authorities’ decision to ban the gay Pride Parade.  “We received the news of the sudden cancellation of the Pride Parade that was planned for this Saturday in Belgrade with great concern. We are not sympathetic to the fact that the Serbian authorities are not capable of ensuring safety for the Pride Parade participants again this year,” the German ministry stressed. The release that was submitted to Beta news agency by the German Embassy urges the Serbian government to “take all necessary steps to implement constitutional freedoms and minority rights, especially freedom of thought and right to assembly”. “Protection of citizens from discrimination based on their sexual orientation is an obligation that for Serbia, a member of the Council of Europe, stems among other things from the European Convention on Human Rights. We therefore call on the Serbian government to penalize violence and threats against representatives of the LGBT population and their manifestations and hold instigators responsible,” reads the statement. The release adds that German Foreign Ministry’s Commissioner for Southeast Europe Nikolaus Graf Lambsdorff invited the Serbian ambassador in Berlin on Friday to a meeting in order to inform him about “Germany’s concern and expectations”. Serbia’s Interior Ministry banned the Pride Parade and all public gatherings in Belgrade on Saturday for security reasons.

As you can see this is more of a tactical and temporary ban, it is also designed to score some points with the sheep {who also hate homos}, in order for bigger policies of national treason, like official recognition of siptar occupied Kosovo, to be pushed through more easily.

Serbian gay activists hold indoor pride event after police ban

Amid a heavy police presence, about two dozen flag-waving activists briefly appeared outside an office building in central Belgrade and sat down on the sidewalk for what they described as a “small, silent, non-violent and motionless protest.” Police have banned the parade for the last two years, saying they fear a repeat of the violence from 2010 when more than 100 people were injured in day-long clashes with the extremists. Even so, activists announced plans to hold an event in September 2013, saying they hoped that would give authorities enough time to allow the march. The ban has drawn criticism at home and abroad. Human Rights Watch urged Serbia on Friday to revoke the decision and provide security for the marchers. The group says “basic human rights are being thrown overboard.” “Pointing to security risks without any visible effort to come up with a reasonable plan to make the Belgrade Pride Parade happen is succumbing to threats of violence,” said Boris Dittrich, the group’s Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBT) advocacy director. Activists at the indoor event on Saturday said they will put pressure on the authorities to pass a declaration in the parliament against homophobia and amend the criminal law to include hate crimes. Improving gay and other human rights is key for Serbia, whose new, nationalist-led government has pledged to continue with the country’s bid to join the European Union. Breaking Serbia
By Jaclyn Ryan Saturday, 6 Oct 2012  A large segment of the population of the United States, particularly generations X, Y and Z, are obsessed with reality shows. American television has produced mindlessly addictive offerings called Breaking Bonaduce, Breaking Amish, and Breaking Point. With a little self-initiative and reading, the aficionados may find themselves enthralled in a critical reality show unfolding across the pond: Breaking Serbia. This small European nation, which bases its identity and history on Christian faith and values—as characterized in the Battle of Kosovo—is in a predicament. Despite the political and media establishment’s insistence that Serbia’s fate is European Union (EU) membership, the people, overwhelmingly, remain dedicated to preserving their beliefs and national sovereignty from the EU’s meddling bureaucracy. They have withstood sanctions and bombing campaigns, while battling Western-sponsored activists and their bogus claims of promoting and building "vibrant" and "tolerant" societies. Despite wars and upheavals that would have broken most countries, Serbia remains sovereign—for the time being—while bracing itself for the next Western-backed ratings surge: The Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender (LGBT) movement. The LGBT "Pride" Parade was set to take stage in Belgrade on October 6, preceded by a week-long "festival" under the slogan "Faith, Hope, and Love." The slogan and the “official” start date of program events (Sunday, September 30) were calculated to mock the Orthodox Christian feast day of the Holy Martyrs Faith, Hope, and Love and their Mother Sophia. We’ve witnessed this before back in 1999 when NATO did not stop its illegal bombing of Serbia on Orthodox Easter Sunday. The first "event" of the "festivities" was a mock "wedding" of two women and two men. The second day was an LGBT "last supper" to crudely mock the biblical event. The third day was an exhibition of photographs that displayed Christ as a homosexual surrounded by transvestites. Finally, on October 4, Serbia's Prime Minister Ivica Dačić had enough, and the government banned both the Parade and the protest counter-marches planned for October 6. Not surprisingly, the decision to cancel was immediately criticized by the US Ambassador in Belgrade, as well as EU leaders in Brussels. Where was the criticizing of the blasphemous “tolerant” activists? Nowhere. The politicians were silent. The LGBT fringe in Serbia has nothing to do with human rights, diversity, tolerance, or for that matter, battling discrimination. The real agenda is aimed at destroying any form of dedication to Christianity. The movement's leader, Predrag Azdejković, went a step further, publicly stating "I hate God" and "all churches should be demolished." He even crudely declared that he "dreams of being fisted by Nick Vujičić"—a well-known Serbian-Australian evangelist and motivational speaker who was born without all four limbs (Tetra-Amelia Syndrome). Mr. Azdejković apparently tried to pull a PR stunt parallel to Michael Swift's 1987 Gay Manifesto. Whether he realizes it or not, he and the entire gay movement in Belgrade are one of the tactical tools being used by globalists to break Serbia. Serbia is the rebel child of Europe who is being dragged by bullies—kicking and screaming—to capitulate to the politically correct Western belief system and a global-inspired form of government. Slovakia's Eduard Kukan—a ranking member of the European Parliament (EP)—stated that the EU is not asking Serbia to permit the Parade, but it would help Serbia on its EU pathway. True to form, the EU and the United States have the audacity to ask a sovereign, overwhelmingly Christian nation to be tolerant of the intolerants who disrespect the culture of Serbia. Those same efforts aren't being promoted in Saudi Arabia, Egypt—or even closer to Serbia's doorstep—Sarajevo or Tirana (non-natives: these areas became almost 100% Muslim after the war). Why? Bluntly put, the movement is not about "tolerance." It is a genetically modified seed used to break Serbia and any other remaining sovereign nations with traditional Christian beliefs. What people need to understand is that this seed stems much deeper than most suspect. We are witnessing a subtle, metastasizing war of gradual conditioning tactics that are extremely powerful. Hijacking economies, peddling drugs, modifying food, creating war, building "educational" programs, and promoting "tolerance" as defined by "progressive" groups and ideologies are carefully designed to create civil unrest—so much that people beg for government intervention. The problem is that the same tyrannical puppet masters who offer the solution are the ones who masterminded the chaos. Consider the following: In 1969, Dr. Richard Day, the National Medical Director of Planned Parenthood, delivered a lecture to the Pittsburgh Pediatric Society (transcripts are available online). Planned Parenthood is sponsored by the Rockefellers—the same pack behind the Council of Foreign Relations (CFR), the Trilateral Commission (TLC) [a spin-off of CFR], the Rockefeller Foundation, etc. Dr. Day's lecture was titled "The New World System." It outlined calculated changes that were being implemented and—if carried out according to a set timeline—would be in full operation by 2000. In 1969, one could imagine the laughs that stemmed from the audience. Today, those lecture points may be viewed as prophetic. Consider his notes on "Sexual Liberation": a.) Sex will be separated from marriage and reproduction, which will break up the family and reduce population. b.) Abortion, divorce, and homosexuality will be made socially acceptable. c.) Homosexuals will be given permission to come out and act out—"anything goes." d.) Reproduction will occur in laboratories and family size will be controlled. e.) It will be made difficult for families to stay together, as women will work outside the home and single population will increase. f.) Sports, in lieu of dolls, will be promoted to girls, which will condition them to seek achievement instead of family. Girls will be taught that they are no different from boys. Now, let’s take a look at what has transpired. All include, but are not limited to the following: a.) Gay rights movements increase worldwide. b.) US birthrate has officially fallen four years in a row. c.) France, among others, is proposing a ban on the words "mother" and "father" in order to legalize homosexual "marriage." d.) Several European countries cover 100 percent of abortion costs from public tax dollars, with others planning to follow in the same footsteps. e.) President Obama announces his support for gay marriage, subsequently securing millions of dollars in new donations. f.) "LGBT History Month" has been voted upon for inclusion into Broward County, Florida—among others—in the taxpayer-funded public school curriculum g.) New York City schools dispense the morning-after pill without notifying parents. h.) Gender-confusion increases among children and teens due to the notion that gender differences are peripheral - an ideological postulate reinforced by popular music, reality shows, and sitcoms that promote alternative lifestyles as mainstream and have induced adolescents and young adults to question their own sexuality. The organizations behind the LGBT are no different from the powers that were behind Otpor, the 1999 bombing of Serbia, the destruction of over one hundred Christian Orthodox Churches in Kosovo, and the slanderous media campaigns broadcasted by Western media. The list is long. Its constant instigators include, but are not limited to, the Open Society Institute (George Soros), the National Endowment of Democracy (NED), Rockefeller-sponsored organizations, and (last but not least) the US government, which has been bought and controlled by the elitist-controlled banking cartels, corporatocracies, and false-flag Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs). More than 40 years ago, Dr. Day predicted that politicians of the future would be manipulated "without their even knowing it," and that "progress" and "change" really mean totalitarian world government. He knew what he was talking about. Dr. Day delivered additional lecture points that have become reality — especially within the United States, but they should not be ignored by other sovereign countries because the same puppet masters are spreading their infection to remaining sovereign governments throughout the world. His points included: 1.) Travel restrictions will occur and it will be considered a privilege [to travel]. People will need permission and a “good reason to travel"; more airplane and auto accidents will occur, contributing to a general feeling of insecurity, which will result in more government regulations. Reality Check: Gestapo-like pat downs by TSA on American citizens without a warrant; Senate Bill 1813 (sec. 31406) requires "Mandatory Event Data Recorders" (MEDRs) to be installed in all autos manufactured 2015 and beyond; insurance company-sponsored car monitoring devices are peddled as normal [it is no secret that the founder of Progressive Insurance supports George Soros’ initiatives]; red-light cameras in metropolitan areas; drones; toll-booth E-Z passes in lieu of cash (Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) says it is illegal to pay cash). 2.) An under-the-skin implantation device will be developed, coded specifically to identify each individual to accommodate government surveillance through radio signals. Serbia gays vow not to give up on pride parade
by Aleksandra Niksic (AFP) – 1 day ago BELGRADE — Serbia's gay activists vowed on Saturday to keep up with preparations for a parade next year despite the ban of this weekend's march that has forced them to organise the gathering indoors. "The pride parade is not a circus, we are not going to disappear, we will not give up and we will remain visible," said activist Goran Miletic. Serbian authorities banned the parade on Wednesday, for the second year in a row, citing security threats. Instead, about a hundred activists and gay rights supporters gathered at a Belgrade conference hall. Instead of marching, the activists took to the street only to sit on the pavement outside the hall, waving rainbow flags and holding signs with the date set for the next year's parade, September 28. "We hope the authorities will have enough time to enable us in a year to walk a 970-step long parade" in Belgrade, Miletic said, alluding to the distance of the planned march. Dozens of policemen, some of them in riot gear, were positioned near the hall and along the central streets of the Serbian capital. A police spokeswoman told AFP no incidents were reported during or after the gathering. For Marin, a 28-year old designer from Belgrade, the gathering was "nice, but sad". "I can wait another year, and then another, but for how long? I want to be able to live like everyone else, not to wear a mask forever," said Marin, who did not want to reveal his last name, afraid of losing his job. Gay activist Jelena, who said her family had disowned her after coming out as lesbian, warned that in "highly conservative society like Serbia, the step-by-step approach might be the smartest, but just leads up to frustration." "I do not want to parade naked with my girlfriend in the street, I just want to be able for us to walk hand in hand," she said, resigned. Swedish Minister for European Affairs Birgitta Ohlsson who was supposed to join the march, said she was disappointed with the ban, describing it as a "discrimination". "The European Union will not accept inequality and homophobia," Ohlsson warned. She called on Serbia, as a EU membership candidate country, to "deliver" in the field of human and minority rights issues and freedom of speech and assembly. "It is a duty of the Serbian government to fulfil its obligation in the field of human rights," she said. Serbia became an EU candidate member in March and is hoping to get a date to start accession talks this year. Serbia's Prime Minister Ivica Dacic said "security information gathered by the police led us to believe there would be bloodshed" on Belgrade streets if the parade was held. In 2010, Serbia held its first gay pride parade in a decade but violent riots followed. More than 150 people, mostly police officers, were wounded in clashes between security forces and ultra-nationalists and hooligans. Last year the parade was banned at the last minute by the police due to security concerns as a number of ultra-nationalist groups had announced they planned to disrupt the march.
