When I was in college we had the annual "St. Paddy's Day Pub Crawl." Hell, I'm of German, Irish, and Scottish descent and in the more tender years of the 1970s in Athens, GA, home of the bullfrogs, the kwaps weren't too bad on drivers since the student population helped pay their salaries, especially the campus kwaps. (I was a campus kwap in Florida, they worked my schedule around my classes.) We pulled all kinds of pranks at the pub crawl. My junior year of college at UGA a pal of mine invited me to visit him and his parents in a D. C. suburb and I got to spend St. Paddy's Day in Georgetown. That was one insane St. Paddy's Day!!!!!

I didnt even realize it was St. Patrick's Day. There is nothing worse than a freezing late-winter holiday, in my book, and SPD is second only to mardi gras in st louis.
