Udo Voigt in Athens as a guest of the Golden Dawn, and also attended the 8 detained parliamentarians and his old friend, the party leader Nikos Michaloliakos.

With Roberto Fiore.

what should one take from this? I don't get a good feeling about this, not at all.

New far-right party in Greece

By John Vasilopoulos
15 December 2014

Panayiotis Baltakos, Greek Prime Minister Antonis Samaras’ former Cabinet Secretary, has announced his intention to form a new far-right party called Rizes (Roots).

He said on December 1 that the party “will have features related to our traditions, the Orthodox Church, the Security Services and the Armed Forces.”

Baltakos has close relations to the fascist Golden Dawn party why is he forming a rival party then?. Alongside the armed forces and security services, such a formation, as part of a governing coalition or with tacit government approval, would act as a battering ram to crush the opposition of Greek workers and youth to entrenched austerity.

Baltakos hailed the army in an interview with onalert.gr in September.

Speaking of his overtures towards the armed forces through his meetings with Fragkoulis Fragkos and Konstantinos Ziazias, both of whom successively held the post of Chief of the Hellenic Army General Staff, he said, “In a decaying society in crisis and moral decay [the army] has dogma, hierarchy, discipline, purpose and aims. It is an organised grouping that is ideologically defined.”

Baltakos was forced to resign from the government in April after a video was leaked showing him briefing Golden Dawn MP Ilias Kasidiaris regarding the government’s clampdown on the neo-Nazi party. This took place after one of its members murdered rapper Pavlos Fyssas in September 2013.

A series of text messages leaked in September revealed that he routinely attempted to mobilise Golden Dawn’s votes in parliament in order to ensure that key pieces of government legislation passed.

Speaking in an interview with Star Channel, Baltakos stressed the party would be formally set up to contest an election only in the event that New Democracy (ND) was unable to gain an overall majority against SYRIZA (Coalition of the Radical Left). “It is necessary to win back the 16.5 percent of people that voted for parties to the right of New Democracy (ND) in the May European elections,” he said, adding that if ND had this proportion of voters it would not need to be in coalition with the social democratic PASOK.

Baltakos, who is still an ND member, was previously Samaras’ number two. He implied that Samaras has given tacit approval to his move to found a new party.suspicious, with all Samaras has done to try and crush GD Asked by Star Channel about his relationship with Samaras, Baltakos responded, “We understand each other and there is no need for anything else.” The announcement took place prior to Samaras announcing a snap vote in parliament to replace incumbent President Karolos Papoulias, bringing the election forward from February to December 17, with further polls on December 23 and 29. Samaras needs 180 votes, but his governing coalition has only 155 MPs. If he fails to find another 25 votes, he will be forced to call a general election, with recent opinion polls placing SYRIZA ahead of ND.

Golden Dawn has seen its popularity steadily decline following the clampdown after Fyssas’ murder, resulting in the imprisonment of a sizeable number of its MPs. Right-wing ND splinter Independent Greeks has also seen its fortunes dwindle, with a number of its MPs defecting to other parties or declaring themselves independent. The latest opinion poll gave Golden Dawn a 4.3 percent share of the vote and the Independent Greeks 1.7 percent, which is below the minimum 2 percent required for entry into parliament.

Alluding to this state of affairs, Baltakos said, “There are people who are or used to be with [New Democracy] and because they do not want to vote for this or that party they are thinking of voting for SYRIZA. We don’t like this.”

He added that MP Vasilis Kapernaros has confirmed that he would be part of Rizes if it is formed. Kapernaros was elected an MP in 2012 with the Independent Greeks. In May this year he left the Independent Greeks and is currently an Independent.

Baltakos confirmed he has also spoken to former ND MP Christos Zois, who was expelled from ND in February 2012 after voting against a package of austerity measures. He joined the Independent Greeks, but failed to get elected in the June 2012 elections. Since March 2013 he has led Nea MERA (New Reforming Radical Reconsitution), a splinter from the Independent Greeks. In an interview on crashonline.gr, Zois welcomed Baltakos’ move, stating that the country needs “a reforming and radical current.” However, he said that he will not be joining Baltakos’ party given that he leads his own.

Baltakos’ contacts with Zois and Kapernaros have been known since July. At the time the press reported that the three met in a restaurant in the upscale Athens suburb of Glyfada.

From the moment he left the government Baltakos publicly discussed establishing a new political party. In an interview he gave to Real News shortly after his resignation he said, “I’ve been approached by ministers and MPs, I’ve been approached by people in uniform and I have been asked to found a new party, saying to me ‘go to the fore we’re with you’.” [emphasis added]

Two of those “people in uniform” were Fragkoulis Fragkos and Konstantinos Ziazias. Fragkos was hastily removed from his post in November 2011 by the Papandreou PASOK government along with the rest of the armed forces top brass. This occurred amid rumours that a coup was being planned in response to Papandreou’s plan to call for a referendum on the austerity measures imposed by the European Union, European Central Bank and International Monetary Fund—collectively known as the troika.

Fragkos later served as defence secretary in the caretaker government between the May and June 2012 elections, after talks to form a coalition government in May 2012 failed. After replacing Fragkos, Ziazias resigned in July 2012, after he refused to sanction promotions and discharges in the Army demanded by the government.

Both men reportedly declined to join Baltakos’ initiative, but heard what he had to say with interest. Fragkos is tactically closer to Baltakos. According to online defence news website onalert.gr, Fragkos is in favour of the creation of a political party that “will begin from ND’s fence and approach Golden Dawn’s fence.”

Ziazias is reportedly in favour of a broad patriotic party that will also encompass sections of the pseudo-left. According to onalert.gr, he was invited by SYRIZA leader Alexis Tsipras to stand as a candidate in the May 2014 elections but declined.

Speaking to newsit.gr on December 4, Baltakos stated that the preference is for “Rizes” to be led by a high-ranking military official. In a TV interview with Kontra Channel a week later (December 11), he confirmed that in the coming days the leadership committee of “Rizes” would be announced. Baltakos added that “Rizes” has the “spiritual blessing” of leading figures in the Greek Orthodox Church, namely the Metropolitan of Piraeus, Seraphim, and the Metropolitan of Sinai, Damianos.

Asked whether “Rizes” will contest the elections if parliament fails to elect a new president, he said this would not be logistically possible. But it would contest the ones after that, which in his opinion would not be far off. Baltakos calculates that SYRIZA will not gain an overall majority and that any resulting coalition will be short-lived.

He accused Samaras of being too soft in his current negotiations with the troika, stressing that “we can’t concede a rationale, which we believe to be correct, to the Left [i.e., SYRIZA]. Why? So that [New Democracy] will be sidelined for decades?”

SYRIZA has no intention of antagonising the financial aristocracy. Last month, leading SYRIZA figures Yiannis Milios and Yiorgos Stathakis were in the City of London, where they met representatives from financial institutions including Goldman Sachs, Merrill Lynch and Nomura.

VIDEO: Ilias Panagiotaros: “Samaras won’t fuck Golden Dawn! You’re finished!”

The political stooges and their journalist lackeys act shocked at Panagiotaros’ barrage in parliament. The ones who act is if they hadn’t seen or heard the audio document that proves the abolishment of the political system by the dictator Samaras, are outraged because the Golden Dawn MP used the rhetorical style of Samaras!

From the floor of parliament, comrade Panagiotaros, blasted the pseudo-democrats and their hypocritical sensitivities. The president, I. Tragakis, attempted to silence the voice of truth, and stated to the Golden Dawn MP that his time is up. Expressing the overwhelming majority of Greek people, Ilias Panagiotaros was set off like a catapult toward the united front of the unconstitutional arc, which cheats and deceives the Greek people every day.

He concluded and reiterating what Samaras stated to the justice official, exactly it as was recorded in the audio document: “Samaras won’t fuck Golden Dawn. You’re finished!”

The Samaras audio:

A safety value party like UKIP in the United Kingdom. To confuse the goyim, from supporting true racial nationalist parties. To deflate support from Golden Dawn.

Diversity Chronicles: ISIS Forming Cells…In Greece
Posted by xaameriki on September 19, 2014

For years Golden Dawn has warned through a plurality of articles that Greece’s role as a point of illegal entry and exit from Europe and the Middle East was a public safety and geopolitical timebomb.

These unfortunate predictions have come to fruition, with Greek news reporting that the infamous Sunni extremist murderers of ISIS, known for kidnapping and beheading Westerners, have affiliates operating within Greek borders!

The secret services of Greece have become alarmed and are reported to have between 80 to 100 people under surveillance associated with the organization, allegedly recruiting for Jihad in Europe.

Thus far, only three individuals have been arrested in Greece for these associations. One of them was returning from Syria, after fighting alongside the U.S., Turkish, and Israeli backed terrorists against Assad, another one was caught in Evros driving a truck full of war supplies destined for the same rebels.

The agreement of the “conservatives” of Greece with Turkish Prime Minister Erdogan to build numerous Mosques throughout Greece is relevant to this equation. The new “anti-racist bill” voted in on behalf of international moneyed interests is expected to create fertile conditions for Sunni Islamist violence that has been found to include numerous “Europeans” leading or partaking in the massacres in the Middle East.

Jihadist Sunni organizations are known to canvass Mosques for recruitment into terrorist cells. The anti-racist bill provides immunity to these psychotic recruiters, ringleaders and affiliates looking to spread their message in a country that is not even their own.

While the persons who have been arrested were destined to travel to Iraq to wage war there, the thought of an ISIS nucleus operating within Greece or anywhere in Europe should be disturbing to everyone. In conjunction with domestic Marxist terrorism, Greek citizens are subjected to more horror and terror by the minute, all ordered by the puppet Samaras!

Golden Dawn: Double referendum Memorandum and debt - Article of the intervention. Scurfy

Fear of Grexit not be real, because this is not foreseen by the very structures of the common currency ....

With two referendums on the memorandum and the debt would answer the Golden Dawn in stalemate of economic policy.
Elias Kasidiaris member of the Golden Dawn, analyzes in his article in bankingnews.gr the financial proposal of the People's Association Golden Dawn and answered the communication of terrorism government.

Despite the war mud all systemic instruments in the Golden Dawn, the thinking Greek citizens have understood that our party has documented proposal to expel Greece from the economic shackles of foreign usurers.
If the Golden Dawn was able to form a national government after the upcoming elections would proceed immediately to carry out a double referendum.

The fresh popular mandate a referendum confirms the overwhelming majority of citizens would give us real bargaining power against usurers' partners' who get sick at the sound of the word 'referendum . "
So we asked Will the Greeks if they want: a) the immediate termination of the Memorandum and start negotiating with the troika from scratch and b) the "haircut" of Greek debt by 50% in percentage belongs to the European Financial Stability Fund, not by individuals, the IMF or transnational loans. These two actions are politically feasible, offer sustainable solutions and ensure our country the opportunity to really grow and finally begin to produce. The only prerequisite Greece shall be represented by serious political factors rather than today's Berlin officials, Venizelos and Samaras, fed by Siemens for decades. Tsipras and SYRIZA tremble even to utter the word 'referendum'. Obviously because the word does not like international terrorists Brussels and crows markets speculating for centuries against Greece (referring to centuries because the economic occupation of the country through our ill-borrowing goes back to the first loans of the Match by moneylenders bankers of the City of London). A strong, nationalist Greece, European-oriented and parallel vision to expand geopolitical horizons with turning to Russia and China can not escape the current relationship sovereign - protectorate, which connects with the usurers lenders. Fear of Grexit invoked the ridiculous "samarovenizeloi" is not real, because this is not foreseen by the very structures of the common currency. The European Commission may have recourse to the European Court if it considers that a country does not fulfill certain obligations, but not to fly ... outside the euro as being naughty student's grade. But the notorious bank run is a myth that served the wicked government politician. Even if the end of the two-month extension of the Memorandum, again that Greece will be able to go into a double referendum and to negotiate, without having to immediately sign any new commitment, Proactive Support Line publicized Samaras. You just need to enter the extraordinary liquidity assistance (ELA) and nothing will change in substance, apart from raising lending rates of systemic banks by the ECB from 1 to about 1.5%. Find out horribly and terribly say parrots Maximus as Stournaras is stupid lies to the elders terrorized voters ND. Neither will break the country, nor will hit our earthquakes , famines, sinking, volcanoes and dragons, nor will bombard our Turkish, nor will our attacking aliens.

Terrorism of samarovenizelikou regime has exceeded the limits of the graphic if there was a serious prosecutor in Greece would intervene and would gather politicians crooks coalition that mock the Greek people and have literally denigrate the country. The usurers "partners" Our course is not going to give us anything, so it only a sovereign nation state that will make the most geostrategic advantages of Hellenism is capable to negotiate and assert our national laws. Here of course will play a dominant role as energy, ie hydrocarbon reserves, which deliberately governments in decades denying.

When they came to light first estimates Deutsche Bank's earnings from natural gas which is south of Crete had said in parliament that the aim of the German government is the final dissolution of our economy to follow the seizure of our national wealth. So do any serious usurer: First drying fluid and then grabs your property. The Berlin also has an immediate need for energy to drive the industry. A strong nationalist Greece will exploit its energy wealth for the benefit of the Greeks will certainly completely different position in the international financial chessboard. The path of the Golden Dawn, that is the way of resistance of the solutions that we propose is not easy and magical, but it is possible. Required hard work by everyone, nationwide effort and hard work of many years to lift up the Greece. O Ilias Kasidiaris is a Member of the Golden Dawn www.bankingnews.gr

Interesting article written by Kasidiaris about the recording of Samaras and the media hiding it.

Quote:
The Guilty Silence of a Criminal Regime: Article by Ilias Kasidiaris

In any country on earth, even in the banana-republics of sub-Saharan Africa a revelation like the one made yesterday, would immediately lead to the imprisonment of the prime minister, the king, the emperor or the chief leader of Zulu, who had committed a similar crime. Something like that could have happened in Uganda, or East Timor or in the case of Nigeria we can remember the state government illegally arrested the opposition, but did not dare to place them in custody, but only placed them under house arrest.

But in “Elladistan” of Samaras, of Tsipras, of Bobolas and of Alafouzos nothing happened. Greece unfortunately has become a banana-protectorate of in an African style, and pretends to be a European country, so it can collect multiple loans from the money-lender “partners” who very soon will have drained our national wealth, in a similar way Great Britain had done in its colonies in the Middle East, Africa and the Indies.
I mentioned four names as representatives of the sinful and criminal system which is interwoven. Two politicians and two tyrants of our public life, who are interweaving businessmen and TV channel owners. Samaras is a criminal element and in parallel a cowardly little man. He fails to face Golden Dawn with political arguments, and for this reason he resorts to his paralegal gang.

There are only 14 words in the tremendous document that surfaced in the light of publicity, which they describe totally the vulgarity, the misery, the cowardice and the mental imbalance of one pathetic man who unfortunately for our homeland continues to pretend to be the prime minister. Here exists a quality element further to the self-proven felonies, of the abandonment of the Constitution and the capital betrayal. The style of Samaras and the tone of his voice do not coincide with his blunt public appearances and the calmness when he gives interviews to Pretederis. But identifies 100% with the outbursts, like the infamous memory of the “Fuck my head asshole”, in front of the operating cameras when he could not read, not even two lines in the autocue of his statement. It describes clearly a bipolar personality, with emphatic mental disorders, further to his unending hate that holds against his main political opponent, i.e. the Golden Dawn. Here is placed unforceful the question whether a person with bold symptoms of maniac-depression is justified to govern a country and influence dramatically the lives of millions of citizens?

Let us though come back to shocking document of the judicial cabal and of diversion. Maximos and Samaras chose the path of total silence. This tactic has both a positive and a negative aspect for the shack of the anti-Hellenic regime. At first the silence is a presumption of guilt.

The one million citizens that have already heard the controversial material have no doubt for its authenticity since Samaras has not dared to say even half of a word as an answer. Thus these people have understood completely the backstage, are outraged. From the other side the conspiracy of silence keeps this unsetting apocalypse in obscurity. If Samaras had tried to deny this, then this matter would have become priority news and everybody would run to the internet to discover the relative video. Thus 10,000,000 Greeks would be immediately aware and participants of the truth.

The specific audio document is mighty and convinces within five seconds even the most fanatic enemy of Golden Dawn. One more observation: For Samaras was impossible to deny its authenticity since he knows very well that this is not his only crime. And obviously the person who published the controversial material it seems from the accompanied text that he knows extremely well much more and very critical information for the case. I think that is obvious that he holds in his possession not only the total package of the specific dialog but also other and many more equally revealing conversations.

Vasilis Labropoulos, the journalist of VIMA – who writes his articles directly from the basements of GADA- considers as the most obvious version, that the recording of the controversial dialog has been done from either ELAS [Greek police] or EYP [National Intelligence Service]. In this aspect, for which I agree that is the most prevailing one, obviously the recording device had been placed on the phone of the judicial executive. When it was discovered that there is a legal recording of Samaras himself committing such a serious crime, obviously the specific file was ordered to be burned and obviously someone’s hand had the time and kept “in secret” a copy of it.

Thus is explained the leak from Katehaki’s 15th floor for the non-existent relative log file in the archives of co-hearings. This view is enhanced by a detail that I noticed later and for this reason, I did not refer to it in my speech in Parliament.

The title of the controversial video on RUTUBE begins with the characters SN5812, which recall the codes of the legal co-hearings of Hellenic Police and this fact might be not be for no reason. The other scenarios regarding a “bug” in external area, or regarding foreign secret services or Greek businessmen who attend the matters of the government, I consider less likely.

However we should not forget the Papastavrou case, where the secret consultant of Samaras had in his laptop a software that was recording all conversations in Maximos mansion. When EYP revealed the case, Samaras gave the order for it to be immediately buried. In any case there is a known connection of Papastavrou with the Israeli Secret service, as well as his central role in the management of the 2 billion dollars account of the Lagarde List along with Myonis, the known Zionist businessman.

On a political level, the hit received by the Samaras shock would not be manageable, if it did not have the absolute cover up, partnership and laundering that was offered by SYRIZA. Tsipras in this case operated as the last crutch of Samaras. For the first time in global historical record, one government is accused of such serious crimes with such irrefutable evidence, and the opposition covers and protects it totally. Leading executives of SYRIZA, who are supposedly will bring change in Greece, heard immediately the controversial document.

In addition a lot helped the discontinuance of the meeting in Parliament after my speech. As soon as they return in chambers the SYRIZA people, they commenced the multi-played tape of crying for Romanos going or not to TEI. They even dared to speak about “victory of Democracy”, the same time that the internet was “ablaze” and hundreds of thousands of citizens had heard the whole Truth and had consciously realized the final catalysis of Democracy, of Constitution and of Public Dominance.
In exactly the same machination, except Maximos and SYRIZA, main role played the tyrants of public life, i.e. the main TV channels owners – and main contractors.

When I revealed the shocking evidence in Parliament, in the journalist galleries panic prevailed. It was unthinkable for such a serious political matter to be buried and so in the prime time news MEGA channel played first the revelations of Golden Dawn. The reason was obvious: In the first 20 minutes between my speech and the news bulletins at 14.00 hours, the basements of Maximou had frozen. The dogma of “shock and awe” was to be seen and the interventions of the political system were impossible.

Even the news bulletin of NERIT pre-heralded the revelations as subject number 2, but on the way intervened the Samararic clique and the news played after the weather bulletin with main title: “Provocative and Conceded was Kasidiaris”, without of course to disclose even in the least bit the crimes of Samaras. In the same wavelength all the other main TV channels of the tyrants, who even found an unprecedented way to “drown” the news. All of them played as first item the Romanos case, which Bogdanos in SKAI even tried to present him as …a fashion idol. All the tyrannical-wealth keepers made their flag and advertised as a “good kid” an anarchist, in order to draw attention away from the revelations about the Samaras Junta. If there are still real anarchists in Greece, then for sure they are tearing their hair out for the shaming and decadence of their movement.

There were of course some voices that reacted in this obscene conspiracy of silence. Noticeably important the article-intervention of the enemy of Golden Dawn Kostas Vaxevanis and the TV channel appearances of ANEL Deputies Chrysoveloni and Haikalis. In the first line of informing of course the reputable defencenet.gr and the independent journalists Stefanos Hios in maleleio.gr and Aris Spinos with his valid newspaper “Akropolis”.

The total silence of Maximos and the means of mass information is equivalent to a declaration of guilt. The controversial material has already been sent to special surveyors in Greece and in foreign countries for the certification of its authenticity and of identification of Samaras voice. Furthermore, every legal action will be taken and the political consequences will be swift.

If Samaras can't get enough votes for a president in parliament, which he won't, then there will be snap elections. Even with polls saying Golden Dawn is down to 4%, unbiased polls by newspapers like Acropolis say it's really at 18%.

The way polls in Greece work is newspaper analysts call your house and ask you what party you support. Obviously, most people are paranoid about being murdered, fired, or imprisoned, so people that support Golden Dawn often give the answer "undecided".

When it comes time to cast ballots, however, the real numbers come to light. Last European election Golden Dawn got almost 10% of the national vote (making the third largest party in the country), despite polls projecting they'd get 5-6%. Additionally, Kasidiaris got 16% of the vote for mayor of Athens, which put him close to the 2 mainstream candidates, even though Kasidiaris was campaigning from jail .

Once we get to see what the Greek government has up its sleeve during the upcoming trial of Golden Dawn, Samaras will lose all of his credibility.

Independent Greeks Kammenos says, he met middleman at Samaras’ office

19 December 2014

During a press conference on Friday, Independent Greeks chairman Panos Kammenos said that the briber has allegedly worked as consultant at the Deutsche Bank and later at the Piraeus Bank until summer 2014.

Panos Kammenos said that he cannot publish the taped footage or part of it due to legal restrictions as “it is product of illegal taping.”

He said that he will sending two copies of recordings to justice minister and parliamentary speaker, so that the latter will inform the political leaders.

Independent Greeks press conference:

– Kammenos said he first met the middleman at the office of Samaras.
“Ι met the man at the office of Antonis Samaras when I was an MP of Nea Dimokratia. He had said that he was working for the Deutsche Bank.
[Current Minister of State Dimitris] Stamatis advised him to me as expert in the CDS issue.
The middleman followed me with the Independent Greeks, and he was writing anti-austerity articles on internet under the nickname “Deucalion.”. He advised me and I trusted him. Spring 2013 he told me that he was going to take a job at Piraeus Bank, and I found out that he was fired in July 2014.”

Panos Kammenos was expelled from the Parliament group of Nea Dimokratia by order of Samaras when he refused to cast confidence vote for Papadimos government, on 16. November 2011. When Kammenos refused to vote for austerity measures in the Parliament, he was expelled from Nea Dimokratia as well on 13. February 2012. Short after he established the Independent Greeks together with 20 other former ND MPs.
According to Kammenos, he knew the middleman, who was consulting him for some time in economic issues.
Kammenos: A meeting between the middleman and Pavlos Chaikalis took place in Plaza Hotel, the meeting lasted 1 hour and 14 minutes. the middleman offered Chaikalis money in order to vote for The president. The video reavls also other cases of bribery or attempted pribery.

– Kammenos: the middleman told Pavlos Chaikalis “I can arrange an appointment with the Prime Minister”.

-Kammenos: According to the middleman’s words, he was working “as consultant for the Deutsche Bank.” Later he worked at Piraeus Bank and his work there concluded in July 2014. The middleman had also give testimony on the CDS issue.

-Kammenos: we can make public the footage and the briber’s name at anytime once we get legal permission. … If the Justice Minister or the Parliament speaker will not make public the briber’s name, I will do it before the 3. round of voting.

Kammenos said that Chaikalis was wearing a watch with a camera and that the middleman was wiretapping the meeting too.

While Independent Greeks did not make concrete revelations, the name of the middleman is being circulating in media corridors, Greek websites and blogs.

No mainstream media transmitted the press conference live, but internet users could watch it live on several websites. To private TV networks broadcast just some parts of the press conference.

Pavlos Chaikalis dropped a “bombshell” in the political world of Greece on Friday morning, when he claimed that he was offered two to three million euro in order to vote for Greece’s next President. The attempted bribery came by a private person. “I would be given 2-3 million euro in total, 700,000 euro in cash in advance, then there would be a settlement for my loans and also some advertising contracts,” Chaikalis, who is also an actor, told Breakfast Magazine of private ANT1 TV on Friday morning.

The revelations come just two days after the first round of voting for the country’s next president and four days before the second round.

The way polls in Greece work is newspaper analysts call your house and ask you what party you support. Obviously, most people are paranoid about being murdered, fired, or imprisoned, so people that support Golden Dawn often give the answer "undecided".
IMO, 18% is way too much. I agree people prefer not to say if they vote for Golden Dawn, but then how does Acropolis would get more accurate results? I wish it was true but... The third place and above 10% would already be quite a blow for Samaras.

VIDEOS: Statements by Golden Dawn Members at Holiday Food Distribution

Posted by xaameriki on December 21, 2014

Saturday, December 20, 2014

During the course of the holiday food distribution comrades Ilias Panagiotaros, Giannis Vouldis, and Lambros Fountoulis, father of our immortal comrade Giorgos Fountoulis, made the following statements:

Ilias Panagiotaros, MP B’ Athens, stated that Golden Dawn is the only organization that organizes food distributions and will continue to do so despite the unconstitutional system’s efforts.

MEP Lambros Fountoulis, stated that Golden Dawn proved once again that they organize handouts of love and not hate as the system’s sidekicks say.

Athens Local Organization secretary, Giannis Vouldis, stated that Golden Dawn will continue its community work with whatever means it has.

First analysis of Samaras' recording. Apparently sent to "a certified laboratory in Belgium".

Second presidential vote: 168 in favor (+8), 131 "present", 1 absent.

Quote:
Those voting in favor of Dimas included two former Golden Dawn MPs, Chrysovalantis Alexopoulos and Stathis Boukouras, who had both been absent from the first ballot.
Haha, are they trying to cut a deal with Samaras?

I think the president will be elected next week, if there are new general elections, current DIMAR MPs will go with SYRIZA but the Independent Greeks will most probably not get the minimum 3% votes required and so they'll be ejected from Parliament. And we know how MPs love their seat...

Journalist Alexander Klapp "infiltrates" Golden Dawn. Tells what he has seen. It's a bit long but I think it's worth the read. It's about the internals of GD but also its origins mixed with Greek history.

A disproportionate number of those in the top ranks come from the Mani, a small spit of land in the southern Peloponnese, roughly half the size of Cornwall. Golden Dawn has close ties with the region. Michaloliakos is descended from a famous Maniot clan; a great-grandfather was a hero in the 1821 Revolution. Maniots have nicknamed the Dawn the Maniatiko Komma, the ‘Maniot Party’. Priests in Gytheio blessed the opening of the town’s Dawn chapter; the bishop of Sparta enjoins his parish to vote Dawn. When Dawn MPs travel to Areopoli, they are welcomed as celebrities; approving crowds attend their meetings; shots are fired from antique pistols. In some parts of the Mani, 50 per cent of the villagers have voted for the party. ‘Maniatika’, a section of Piraeus settled by Maniot families in the 1950s, is probably the most Dawn-heavy neighbourhood in the whole of Greece. No other far-right Greek party – LAOS, Independent Greeks – has a regional backing of this sort.

The guiding ideology of the Dawn is rooted in the Greek Civil War. At that time the great division in Greek society – broadly speaking, between Venizelists and anti-Venizelists, or republicans and monarchists – was overwhelmed by a more brutal conflict between communists and anti-communists. The Peloponnese has always been staunchly royalist and anti-communist, more vehemently so as one goes farther south. It was politicians of the right who reconstructed the state after the Civil War, which all but destroyed the left. Many were from the Peloponnese, and had collaborated with the Nazis. They were funded and rearmed by the British and Americans to finish off what the Germans had started: hunting down the communist andartes, the Elas bands who did the lion’s share of the resistance. Many of the Dawners’ fathers were present at the Dekemvriana, the first skirmish on the streets of Athens in 1944.

In many ways the Junta, which ruled from 1967 to 1974, marked a return to the Nazis’ wartime regime in Greece. Several Colonels had served in the German ‘security battalions’; Georgios Papadopoulos, the head of the Junta, had been one of the chief Nazi collaborators in the northern Peloponnese. Golden Dawn represents the Junta’s last gasp. In 1973, when Michaloliakos met Dawn’s current ideologues, he was a member of the 4 August Party, a fringe movement named after the day in 1936 when Ioannis Metaxas, the prewar fascist dictator, seized the state. Michaloliakos joined when he was 16. The members of 4 August tended to be former German sympathisers and Nazi nostalgics (Metaxas himself was neither). Ten years later, Michaloliakos put together Golden Dawn. ‘We started in a Leninist way,’ he once told a reporter: ‘We decided to issue a newspaper, the Golden Dawn, and to build a party around it.’ There were 12 contributors. Until the mid-1980s, it remained a highly secretive neo-Nazi club. It took cues from other Third Reich revivals around Europe – notably Cedade, a fascist gathering in Spain. But it also had a legitimate link to the Junta. Michaloliakos had founded the Dawn under the guidance of Colonel Papadopoulos, his boyhood hero. The two met in Korydallos Prison after Papadopoulos had been overthrown and a young Michaloliakos had been caught attacking anarchist cinemas with grenades.

Those two are traitors. They took a bribe last year to leave Golden Dawn and publicly condemn them in the media.
