Charges for 22 over neo-Nazi riot in Jyväskylä
Central Finland prosecutors have charged a group of 22 members of the neo-Nazi Finnish Resistance Movement with assault and rioting at a demonstration in Jyväskylä one year ago. One of the accused is the same FRM co-founder suspected of assault and involuntary manslaughter following a fatal attack at Helsinki’s Central Railway Station in September. http://yle.fi/uutiset/osasto/news/ch...askyla/9243011 |

Does Finland need its swastikas?
Finland has officially used the ancient symbol of the swastika on monuments, awards and decorations for nearly a century. Today, it is still prominently displayed on military flags and insignia, but one professor is now asking what its use actually means for the defence capabilities of the armed forces. Does holding onto this tradition have benefits that outweigh risks to the nation’s image? https://yle.fi/uutiset/osasto/news/d...stikas/9865204 |

Finland investigating role of SS volunteers during Holocaust
The government of Finland has announced the commissioning of an investigation into the actions of Finnish volunteers with Nazi Germany’s Waffen SS, following newly unearthed evidence that these fighters may have been involved in atrocities against Jews and other civilians on the Eastern Front during the Second World War. The Finnish Prime Minister’s Office commissioned the country’s National Archives institution to conduct the investigation, following a request in January by the Simon Wiesenthal Center (SWC), and ordered that it be completed by November. https://www.jpost.com/International/...locaust-559044 |

Under-age National Socialist vs. Exit Counseling Workers - Inside Finnish Deradicalization Program
In this recording an under-age supporter of the Nordic Resistance Movement is talking to a group of deprogramming "experts". The workers of Radinet deradicalization group are part of EU-wide Radicalization Awareness Network (RAN), an organization determined to combat the nationalist uprising that is happening against the elite's disastrous immigration policies. The boy in the video has been bullied by immigrant gangs outside and inside his school. He was expelled from school after having filmed evidence of the immigrants bullying him. Then the social workers directed the young boy to Radinet exit-counseling. https://vimeo.com/267240322 Counseling workers: Esa Holappa - a former national socialist who betrayed his comrades and married an asian girl Oussama Yousfin - a racial stranger motivated to race-mix Finns out of existence Ann-Sofie Nyström - a heartbleeding immigrant worker and a globalist The boy's father |

Police prepare for nationalist and far right marches on Independence Day, won’t ban Nazi salutes
Helsinki will play host to marches by nationalists, Nazis and antifascist groups on Thursday as the city gears up for Finland’s 101st independence day. In recent years far-right marches have grown in size each Independence Day, with counter-protesters also making their presence felt. The National Police Board said on Tuesday that it had laid out guidelines for handling the marches, with an emphasis on the judgement of officers on the ground trumping hard and fast rules for behaviour and crowd control. https://yle.fi/uutiset/osasto/news/p...lutes/10539967 |

Helsinki police mull probe into neo-Nazi demonstration The National Bureau of Investigation is also looking into whether a related group has violated a court-ordered ban. 11/11/2019 Helsinki police department is considering launching an investigation into a demonstration that took place in the capital last Saturday. The criminal offence under consideration would be illegal congregation of a banned organisation. A grassroots organisation calling itself "Toward freedom!" (KV or Kohti vapautta! in Finnish) was behind the protest that took place at midday at Narinkkatori in downtown Helsinki. Members of the group handed out fliers and waved flags bearing symbols similar to Nazi swastikas. According to tabloid daily Iltalehti, police arrived on the scene but did not intervene in the event. https://yle.fi/uutiset/osasto/news/h...ation/11063422 |

Helsinki police ban neo-Nazi march on Independence Day
Dec 4, 2019 Police believe the event organiser is a group with the same active members as the banned Nordic Resistance Movement. Helsinki Police department has banned a planned march by the neo-Nazi ‘Towards Freedom’ (or Kohti vapautta in Finnish) Movement in Helsinki city centre on Independence Day. The movement is seen as a successor to the neo-Nazi Nordic Resistance Movement (PVL), which was the subject of a temporary banning order by the Supreme Court in March this year. Police believe the PVL and the Towards Freedom Movement have the same active members. https://yle.fi/uutiset/osasto/news/h...e_day/11102765 |

Police detain several Independence Day protesters
Helsinki is seeing demonstrations by neo-Nazi groups as well as those condemning the far right on Friday. 06 December 2019 Police on Friday said they had detained at least five people for disturbing the peace during Independence Day marches. Police tweeted that those apprehended were carrying illicit items, such as torches. Around 5.30pm climate activist group Elokapina told the Finnish News Agency (STT) it temporary blocked the neo-Nazi Soldiers of Odin procession by sitting down on the sidewalk on Töölönkatu. The Soldiers of Odin began assembling on Kansalaistori “citizens’ square” outside Helsinki’s central library, Oodi, around 4pm. https://yle.fi/uutiset/osasto/news/p...sters/11106739 |

Independence Day Marches in Finland - Simon Lindberg’s speech
https://www.bitchute.com/video/hfENxQ7u6bMq/ LAST MONTH, Finland’s Independence Day was commemorated with two demonstrations in Helsinki. The first demonstration was arranged by the Soldiers of Odin. The demonstration was originally set to be organised by the National Socialist organisation Kohti Vaupatta! (Towards Freedom!), but the police commission denied them permission, claiming the demonstration would “break the law”. When the first demonstration was over, the 300-plus attendees went on to participate in the patriotic “6/12” demonstration. According to the organiser, 2,500-3,000 patriots took part in the demonstration, marching with torches in hand to commemorate Finland’s independence. |

Is Finland About to Make Christianity Illegal? Christian Lawmaker Facing Fines and Prison
02-18-2020 HELSINKI – Almost 70 percent of Finns are still members of the national Lutheran church. But that doesn't mean they're believers. Less than a third of Finns now say they believe in God. This historically Christian nation has not only left the faith but has begun criminal investigations of Christians. But this is still a nation with a constitution that still tells the national church to "proclaim a Bible-based Christian faith." So, why is Finland investigating a member of parliament for 'proclaiming her Bible-based Christian faith'? https://www1.cbn.com/cbnnews/world/2...tters-of-faith |

Helsinki police looking into HSL ticket racism row
A teenager's family wants HSL to explain why their son was the only one handcuffed over an invalid metro ticket. Hakola told Yle News that police are currently reviewing the case to see whether any criminal activity requiring a formal investigation had been committed during the incident that took place on 4 July. https://yle.fi/uutiset/osasto/news/h...m_row/11449415 |

Finnish Top Court Bans Finland's Main Neo-Nazi Group
9/22/2020 HELSINKI - Finland's Supreme Court on Tuesday banned a neo-Nazi group on the grounds that its activities are “significantly contrary to law.” Finland's national police had sought to dissolve the right-wing Nordic Resistance Movement, known for being violent and openly racist, and two lower courts of law confirmed the ruling. Finland's highest court ruled that the group's activities “did not enjoy freedom of expression or freedom of association, as the association's activities by their nature entailed an abuse of these rights.” National Police Chief Inspector Heikki Lausmaa told Finnish broadcaster YLE that the Supreme Court ruling is “a clear statement that an organization that is violent and uses speech deemed racist or otherwise violating human dignity should not have a place in Finnish society.” A Nordic Resistance Movement member, Jesse Torniainen, was convicted of aggravated assault for kicking a man in the chest during a September 2016 demonstration. The 28-year-old man died from his injuries. Torniainen was sentenced to two years in prison. The fatal assault drew public attention and led to calls to ban racist and other extremist organizations in Finland. https://www.dtnpf.com/agriculture/we...-finlands-main |
