"..Fraudulent ICOs flooding the Japanese crypto market may give the government all the more reason to impose a ban. There is a likelihood of ICOs moving from serious efforts to build digital currencies to a risky pyramid schemes. Start-up investors buying coins at a discount and disposing them off on general investors is another worrying trend. Such a scenario opens up less technically savvy investors to exploitation. Japan plays a crucial role in the growth of crypto currencies and ICO markets, contributing heavily to the recent rise in valuations. A ban could potentially limit the number of investors and crypto currency exchange, diminishing liquidity in the ICO market. A move that could increase volatility and drive prices downwards. Up until recently, only a small number of investors, ones with large orders made up the trading volume in Japan. Now, less-technical users around the world are expressing interest, which could possibly increase the number of traders. A ban will have the new crop of potential investors fearful.." https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/japa...aven-for-icos/ https://www.coindesk.com/canada-cour...izer-contempt/ It depends on if the money raised for GAB doesn't meet the minimum funds required, will they return $ to the backers if the ICO is unsuccessful? It matters what's on the 'white paper' in terms of the details, time frame, etc., which they say they'll have in coming weeks. Looks like it's a little bit risky, but that depends on how much they want one to invest to start, and what someone's willing to lose to experiment. In 2014, the Ethereum project started and its ICO had $0.40 per Ether, then by 2016 the ether value was about $14. So if value increases that's great.

backstory: jew coach won't give superior white QB a chance, is proved wrong in the end
http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/2...s-redskins-nfl been watching this for years, only year after the fact do some of the things they're saying come to light. sports is just politics by other means. anything black and bad is covered up, only emerges long after it's relevant. discrimination by jews against whites? what's that? not a real thing? key is to turn anti-white discrimination into money. this is one way to do it. although with huge number of injuries, the investment is looking very 50-50 at moment. |

Look at the hundreds of billions in the big names. The country is divided between pro-censors and pro-speech. Gab is the only name serving the speech side. it has to be worth at a minimum several billions of investment.

Andrew Torba @a PRO
4 minutes The goal of the ICO is simple: raise a war chest to take on Silicon Valley, build a massive developer ecosystem, and take Gab from one central app to a distributed protocol used by hundreds of apps. A peer to peer, censorship-proof, open social protocol. Andrew Torba @a PRO 7 minutes In our first funding round we reached our SEC maximum limit of 1.07m in around 38 days. Not only this, but we oversubscribed by hundreds of thousands of dollars. Our ICO (initial coin offering) will allow us to raise up to $50m per SEC guidelines. Folks can invest bitcoin and fiat money. |

Appears my Skins investment will go down hard. Why? A freakish amount of injuries. You expect 3-4 (to main players), often get 6-8, but this year the skins have had double that, and it has killed them. All their best line players have been destroyed. A couple came back, but they're hobbled. Last night probably sealed the deal, altho there's still a 20% chance they take 3 of next four and squeeze it out at 8-8.
It is clear now that the best investment this year (2017) was in fact BitCoin, which has climbed from hundreds to over 10,000 in a couple of years. We'll see about 2018. No sign BitCoin is done rising, I plan to get on it. If Kirk Cousins returns to Redskins I will hit their season total over again, most likely. This was the third year I've made this play, one win, one push so far. And this year a pending terrible loss. I won't apologize because I put in the work, the analysis was solid. Even if they squeak an 8-8, they should have won another two, minimum, even under the terrible circumstances. I've always believed in analysis / process, not outcome. The skins blew some games they could have won, they were ahead in nearly all games late in first half, but this bet / outcome was determined by truly freak level of injuries. That's my final analysis, lose or win. I had estimated the chance of injuries swamping this bet at only about 5%, but that's what has happened. To any who followed, I'm crying harder than you are, believe me. |

Never. I hit it very hard, not too hard. Important distinction. If I lose, I cry to myself and life goes on. "That's life in the big city," as they say. I already consider it lost because it was supposed to come through easily, not maybe scrape thru at 50-50. Whole season has been like taking a cheese grater to the nutsack.
I had hoped to take this outcome and put it into the Gab ICO coming up in 2018. Win or lose I will put something into Gab, and I recommend the rest of you consider it. BitCoin sure looks likes a winner; the only question in my mind is what can the feds do to mess it up? I don't think that question is as settled as defenders seem to think. Someone posted an article where one of the big boys with the feds or their related banks was gaslighting re BitCoin, same way they do with blacks and whites, put the problems behind their boys on the good guys. Well, one of the biggest events of my life is coming up this week. I will be on road and return next Friday. |

Ethereum
These vids explain a lot regarding Ethereum, how it differs from Bitcoin, etc.:
Because the Ethereum network also works like a 'global computer', it isn't limited to being used as a currency. I hadn't known that, this makes it quite interesting. A situation where everybody's data is held in decentralized nodes and only the owners can decide when and how it's used would be interesting in light of all the alternative media takeover that has gone on. Takes it out of the hands of a (((few))).
