Devon J. Knights enters the courtroom for his preliminary examination along with two other defendants, Brandon M. Dupuis and Brandon D. Miller, who are all charged with murder in the July 29 killing of Tyler R. Gruber in Bay County District Judge Mark E. Janer's courtroom Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2019. Rachel Ellis | MLive.com

BAY CITY, MI — A jury has found a man guilty of murder for his role in a 2019 marijuana robbery that turned fatal when the Bay City homeowner interrupted his three would-be burglars.

The jurors deliberated for about four hours before delivering their verdicts about 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 9, finding Devon J. Knights, 26, guilty of first-degree felony murder, armed robbery, first-degree home invasion, and conspiracy to commit first-degree home invasion. Jurors acquitted Knights of a fifth charge, that being conspiracy to commit armed robbery.

The convictions stem from the July 2019, killing of 39-year-old Tyler R. Gruber, shot twice inside his home at 505 N. Henry St. A jury in October found lead suspect Brandon M. Dupuis, 29, guilty of first-degree premeditated murder, first-degree felony murder, first-degree home invasion, armed robbery, conspiracy to commit first-degree home invasion, conspiracy to commit armed robbery, felon in possession of a firearm, and five counts of felony firearm.

An ex-care worker betrayed the trust of two former clients - aged 94 and 76 - by carrying out terrifying raids on their homes.

Aatish Popat, 39, cynically exploited knowledge he had gained of the layout of the men's homes from visits he had made in a professional capacity, a court heard.

Warrants: Suspects in deadly Halloween weekend shooting in Myrtle Beach planned to rob victim

by: Dennis Bright

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) — Arrest warrants for two people charged in a deadly shooting over the Halloween weekend indicate that the killing took place during a scheme by the suspects to rob the victim.

The warrants obtained by News13 do not reveal many details about their alleged plot to commit an armed robbery that led to the Oct. 30 death of Patrick Smith, 49, of Marshville, North Carolina. However, they do indicate that Smith was apparently trying to flee from the suspects when he was shot.

Two suspects, Katerena Bedjan, 27, of Leland, North Carolina, and Leo Watkins, 17, of Surfside Beach, who also had a Henderson, North Carolina, address, each face murder and criminal-conspiracy charges. They both are being held without bond in the J. Reuben Long Detention Center.

Default 32 BLACK-ON-WHITE HOMICIDES, INCLUDING FIVE HOME INVASIONS: October 2021—Another Month In the Death of White America

The 32 whites whose killings by blacks were reported in October got nothing, as usual. Besides the continuing toll of white women killed by black husbands/ lovers/ ex-lovers, I note at least five home invasions. This may be a new trend, as black criminals get increasingly confident they won’t be resisted or punished.

December 3, 2021 8:02 am Updated

A gang member with a lengthy rap sheet fatally stabbed a Columbia University student, injured a tourist and threatened another man in an unprovoked knife frenzy near the Manhattan campus Thursday night, police said.

The terrifying 15-minute stabbing spree started when Columbia grad student Davide Giri, 30, was knifed in the stomach in Morningside Park just before 11 p.m., police sources told The Post Friday.

Giri, who is from Italy, stumbled out of the park and collapsed near the corner of West 123rd Street and Amsterdam Avenue, where he was found by cops. He was pronounced dead at Mount Sinai-Saint Luke’s Hospital.

The second victim — a 27-year-old Italian tourist who had only arrived in the city a day earlier — was found with stab wounds to the torso at West 110th Street and Cathedral Parkway 15 minutes later, law-enforcement sources said.

Ryan Rogers murder: Documents suggest racial motive in teen’s Palm Beach Gardens stabbing

Semmie Williams Jr. has 16-page Florida rap sheet in addition to assault and battery charges in Georgia

By Michael Ruiz | Fox News

Semmie Williams, the 39-year-old Florida man accused of brutally killing 14-year-old Ryan Rogers in Palm Beach Gardens, allegedly used racially charged language during the intake process at a Palm Beach County jail.

Jailhouse records obtained by Fox News Digital show that on Dec. 2, Williams allegedly fought with officers, called one a "White devil," and suggested a motive behind the teen’s stabbing death.

"While fingerprinting his left hand, I asked him if he understood the charges," Officer Michael McCabe wrote in an incident report. "He stated, ‘Yea, murder, because of what they did to Black people about giving them syphilis.'"

Two arrested after two shot, one killed in South Birmingham

Two arrested after two shot, one killed in South Birmingham(Birmingham Police)

By WBRC Staff
Published: Dec. 25, 2021 at 3:10 AM GMT+1

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) - Birmingham Police say two men have been arrested after two people were shot and one was killed in South Birmingham on Christmas Eve morning.

Birmingham Police say officers were dispatched to Marty’s PM on 10th Court South after a shots fired call. There they found a man at the entrance suffering from a gunshot wound, as well as another man injured from a gunshot wound in the parking lot across the street. Police say both men were taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. One man, 42-year-old Shaun Rhudy died of his injuries.

Authorities believe management from Marty’s PM did not let 21-year-old Alonzo Johnson II inside due to a past incident. Police say Johnson was then involved in an altercation in the parking lot across the street when shots were fired. Police say Johnson then fled the scene in a car that picked him up.

Police say members of the community gave authorities information on the suspect’s vehicle. Officers were later dispatched to I-59 South past the the Arkadelphia Road exit on reports of a vehicle on fire. There, they found the car matched the suspect’s vehicle, where Johnson and 27-year-old Terrill Huey Jr. were taken into custody.

Missouri: Black Career Criminal Murders White Baby And His Father

Eric Striker 11 hours ago

A young father and his infant son were murdered by a black criminal in Kirksville, Missouri last week.

22-year-old Braxton Cottrill, 18-month-old Parker, 18-year-old Alissa Anders, and 21-year-old Randall Yarrington were shot in an alleged ambush by 22-year-old Anquan Glover, in a vicious ambush. Cottrill and Parker both died, while Anders remains in critical condition.

The shooting occurred on December 30th, yet the black suspect has not yet been apprehended.

Glover's criminal record runs deep into his juvenile years, but these records are sealed. In just four short years since turning 18, Glover has been charged with felony assaults, first degree robberies, jumping bail, a myriad of reckless activities, and even a separate shooting.

In 2017, Glover followed a car into a Quik Trip parking lot full of people he claimed had "snitched" on him. He approached the vehicle and opened fire on the motorists with a handgun.

According to court records obtained by National Justice, Glover -- who had received charitable pleas for previous offenses -- was sentenced in 2019 to separate five and four year prison sentences for the numerous charges he had incurred in relation to his spree of criminal activity.

While in custody, Glover was again charged for a previously unresolved armed robbery in Jefferson City, Missouri as well as felonious damage to prison property while incarcerated. In April 2021, he was again sentenced to a year in prison yet was released years before his accumulated time was completed.

Glover was free to murder Cottrill and his son thanks to a series of sweeping reforms by the Missouri Supreme Court that make it difficult to secure convictions, water down prison sentences, and forbids judges from taking a criminal's record into account during bail hearings regardless of the gravitiy of an offense, all of which have led recidivism.

The Supreme Court's reforms -- dictated by fiat rather than legislation -- are consciously intended to privilege non-white criminals in the justice system. Many of the changes were based on recommendations from the court's Commission on Racial and Ethnic Fairness, which receives policy recommendations from anti-white black and Jewish college professors such as Mikah Thompson and David Achtenberg.

While some Republicans in the state legislature have tried to battle these reforms, ultimately releasing dangerous black serial offenders back to the street is a bipartisan issue in Missouri.

Republican Governor Mike Parson has been a leading figure among conservative officials who support "criminal justice reform." Since taking office in 2018, Governor Parson has overseen efforts to significantly reduce Missouri's prison population by encouraging early release and probation sentences over incarceration. His stated reason for these policies is that he wants to save money.

After years of progress against crime, Missouri is now currently home to some of the most dangerous cities in the world. St Louis' homicide rate is higher than in Mexico's cartel hubs, numerous Brazilian favelas, and much of sub-Saharan Africa. Springfield, with its small population of 167,000, is one of the most dangerous metro areas in the United States. Kansas City broke its record for homicides in 2020.
