Comparisons to Nazis end sales of ‘Attack on Titan’ armbands

Nov 16, 2021

The production committee of popular anime series “Attack on Titan” halted orders for official armband goods on Nov. 15 following complaints they evoked images of Nazi Germany’s persecution of the Jews.

The committee’s website set up to take the orders said the Marley’s Armband in the series is used to distinguish the devilish Eldians from other races in the nation called Marley.

The armband was to be sold only through orders placed between Nov. 15 and Dec. 3.

But just hours after it began accepting orders, the committee ended the sales campaign.

The committee received numerous online posts objecting to the sales on grounds that the Marley armband was similar in nature and appearance to the Star of David badges that the Nazis forced Jewish people to wear.

The committee later apologized and said it has no intention of tolerating any form of discrimination.

“Readily merchandising what was drawn as a symbol of racial discrimination in the work was an act that lacked consideration,” the committee said.

The committee, which includes officials of Kodansha Ltd., publisher of the manga version of “Attack on Titan,” announced the sale of a set of armbands of three different colors in a tweet on the night of Nov. 14.

The tweet said the Marley armbands are a faithful reproduction of those depicted in the work by manga artist Hajime Isayama.

New ruling requires Japan government to compensate for forced sterilization

Tokyo, Jan 23 - A Japanese court ordered the government on Monday to compensate a septuagenarian man and woman who were subjected to forced sterilization under the eugenics law in force in Japan for almost half a century.

The Kumamoto District Court ruling allowed a 22 million yen ($155,000) compensation to the 78-year-old man and a 76-year-old woman, according to the public NHK news network.

The two plaintiffs, sterilized in the 1950s and 1960s, are among nearly 20,000 people subjected to forced sterilizations of disabled people in Japan.

The controversial program ran between 1948 and 1993.

Some 16,500 people were sterilized without consent for which the government has publicly apologized.

The litigants had asked 33 million yen each, alleging that the practice was unconstitutional that violated their human rights.

Although in all the rulings issued to date, the courts have recognized the state’s responsibility and the unconstitutionality of the regulations, until now, only one court order granted compensation to the affected.

Compensation claims get dismissed because the 20-year period to seek a claim has passed since the operation.

In the latest case, the government had requested the court to dismiss the case for exceeding the time frame.

The now-defunct Eugenics Protection Law in Japan allowed sterilization to prevent people with physical and intellectual disabilities, mental health problems, and patients with certain diseases from having “inferior” offspring.

The law, similar to those in Germany during Nazism, Sweden until the mid-1970s, and some US regions until almost the 1980s, was revoked in 1996 and replaced by a maternal protection regulation for abortions.

Japan approved a law in 2019 to compensate each of the victims of the forced sterilization program with 3.2 million yen.

But all did not have luck due to the lack of records of the operation and around 20 cases reached the courts for resolution.

Default Looks and acts like a jew!

https://yokai.com/nigawarai/

This is a demonic creature in Japanese folklore:

Quote:
Nigawarai

Translation: bitter smile
Habitat: inhabited areas
Diet: hatred and ill-feelings

Appearance: Nigawarai are large, ugly yōkai with horns and green-tinged, hairy bodies. They wear dirty rags. Their hairy mouths are twisted into what looks like a forced smile. Their hands end in sharp, poisonous claws, which are powerful enough to paralyze small animals.

Behavior: Nigawarai are created out of the negative feelings of human beings—particularly, ill-humor and forced, feigned amusement. As their name suggests, they are related to the uncomfortable smiles that people make when trying to hide their feelings of discomfort. They cause ill-will, disgust and encourage arguments among those around them. They both feed off of and spread these negative feelings.
Looks very similar to jewish caricatures portrayed by Walt Disney and others who've portrayed jews as demonic or satanic.

And their behavior is extremely jew-like. Ill humor such as making jokes about feces and urine, or making jokes about raping fetuses. As well as sowing chaos and ill-will among a given population, and feeding off of it like parasites.
