Working from memory alone, I recall that Mao cited three necessities for any successful armed insurgent movement. (1) It had to have strong political support from at least 10% of the general population involved, (2) It had to have a zone of physical sanctuary, a place where the active members could retreat and be protected by the sympathetic civilian population, and (3) It had to have a strong and unified command structure. One major downfall of intellectualism is its passiveness. Intellectuals will find reasons to debate till their last breath. Every body here ought to know there is only one way to deal with enemies...We've known it for thousands of years, before Man even knew how to write, he knew how to deal with enemies. We, collectively, have just seemed to forget this basic Law of Nature. So we have 50 different plans for 20 different scenarios. When in reality it comes down to what it has always come down to: the sword.
I think James Mason summed up our current divides best when he said: "We could romp them if the Whites of the United States were what they ought to be. But they are not and never are they likely to be. Seeing we cannot change that, we must instead adapt our tactics accordingly"- So it comes to a point where we will divide by our solution beliefs and work accordingly from there.
