Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-NY), chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, called the violent riots, which have destroyed property and injured numerous law enforcement officers, “a myth” on Sunday.

“It is true. There’s violence across the whole country,” reporter Austen Fleccas said to Nadler. “Do you disavow the violence from Antifa that’s happening in Portland right now? There’s riots—”

“That’s a myth that’s being spread only in Washington, DC,” Nadler said.

Incoming professor Jesse Goldberg, who will teach “African American & American Literature and Composition” at Auburn University, took to social media to proclaim, “fuck every single cop,” before urging police officers to “refuse to do their job and quit.” A university spokesperson told Breitbart News that “Goldberg’s comments inexcusable and completely counter to Auburn values.”

Incoming professor Jesse A. Goldberg has not even begun teaching his first semester at Auburn University, but has already started inflicting controversy onto the institution, according to a report by Yellowhammer News.

“Fuck every single cop. Every single one,” tweeted Goldberg on Wednesday. “The only ethical choice for any cop to make at this point is to refuse to do their job and quit.”

A judge rejected Rosenblum’s request for a preliminary restraining order against the agents last week. But the lawsuit is ongoing, as is a criminal investigation Rosenblum opened into federal agents who injured a protester. On Wednesday, the Trump administration made an agreement with local officials to withdraw the federal forces — though the timing is unclear.

Rosenblum, who was elected to her post in 2012, is a former board member of her Portland synagogue, Congregation Beth Israel, as well as the founder of its book club and a former member of its choir.

The Jewish Telegraphic Agency spoke with Rosenblum Wednesday about her next steps and how she sees her role as the state attorney general and a Jewish elected official.

Before the puck drop at the Chicago Blackhawks-Edmonton Oilers game, one of the firsts of the postseason, Minnesota Wild defenseman Matt Dumba said that hockey, while already a great sport, can be “a lot greater” if players and fans work to end racism.

“During this pandemic something unexpected but long overdue occurred,” Dumba said on the ice at Rogers Place. “The world woke up to the existence of systematic racism and how deeply rooted it is in our society.”

The defenseman, who spoke on behalf of the NHL and the Hockey Diversity Alliance, went on to directly address to those who feel that the Black Lives Matter movement and calls for justice for victims of police violence have gone on for too long.
