Michael Cohen, a former personal attorney for Donald Trump, once again predicted that the former president will be indicted Monday on MSNBC’s “Deadline.”

The panel discussed prosecutors from the Manhattan district attorney’s office convening a grand jury as part of a criminal probe into a 2016 hush money payment to porn star Stormy Daniels that former President Donald Trump allegedly authorized.

Michael Cohen sits for deposition by Trump’s lawyers in AG’s fraud suit

Michael Cohen on Friday showed up for a deposition in Manhattan by Donald Trump’s lawyers in a fraud suit brought by New York Attorney General Letitia James’ office against the embattled former president and his company.

Cohen — Trump’s one-time personal attorney and “fixer” — was being questioned under oath by lawyers for Trump’s camp at a Third Avenue office.

Cohen’s lawyer Jeffrey Levine confirmed “our attendance” in an email filed Thursday in the AG’s case, and Cohen arrived around 10 a.m.

Last year, James filed a $250 million civil fraud case against Trump, the Trump Organization, Trump’s three eldest children — Ivanka, Eric and Don Jr. — and others, alleging Trump inflated company assets for years to get better loan and insurance terms. Cohen is not a party in the AG’s case.

Alina Habba, an attorney for the 76-year-old former president, claimed in court papers earlier this month that Cohen refused to show up for the questioning at two prior scheduled times — and asked a judge to order Cohen to comply with the deposition.

Habba argued that since James’ office had already interviewed Cohen during its probe into Trump, their side should also be afforded the opportunity to question Cohen.

Michael Cohen, former President Trump’s onetime personal lawyer and the key witness against him in his New York state indictment, was denied early release from his probation following his three-year prison term Friday.

U.S. District Judge Jesse M. Furman in Manhattan said that Cohen has continued to lie in recent comments, citing comments he made in a book and on television in March when he said he hadn’t committed tax fraud, his charges were "all 100 percent inaccurate" and that he was "threatened" by prosecutors into pleading guilty.

Cohen is a regular on cable news problems, often giving his opinion on Trump.

Cohen’s lawyer David M. Schwartz claimed he had "clearly demonstrated" his rehabilitation after being a "model prisoner" who had "substantially cooperated with all government authorities."

Part of Michael Cohen’s potentially damning video deposition released in Trump civil fraud case

A portion of Michael Cohen’s potentially damning video deposition was made public Monday as the New York Attorney General’s $250 million fraud case against former President Donald Trump kicked off in a Manhattan courtroom.

The video clip of Cohen’s sworn testimony was played for Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Arthur Engoron during opening remarks from the AG’s office, at the civil trial where the ex-president is accused of inflating his net worth on financial documents to get an edge in business and save hundreds of millions of dollars.

Cohen – Trump’s former personal attorney and “fixer” – described how the real estate mogul would call him and Allen Weisselberg, the former Trump Organization CFO, into his office and ask them to boost his worth – in part so he could rank higher on the Forbes billionaires list.

“Let’s say it said he was worth $6 billion,” Cohen said during the April 28 deposition. “Well, he wanted to be higher on the Forbes list, and he then said, ‘I’m actually not worth 6 billion. I’m worth 7. In fact, I think it’s actually now worth 8 with everything that’s going on.'”

“Allen and I were tasked with taking the assets, increasing each of those asset classes in order to accommodate that $8 billion number,” Cohen said in the video.
