A Chinese company’s purchase of an American farmland near a military base has sparked concerns among US lawmakers who have shot off a letter to the Government Accountability Office, highlighting the security implications of such deals.

Earlier this month, around 130 lawmakers requested the agency to analyse the security implications of the Chinese ownership of US agricultural land.

"China's ownership of US farmland is a threat to our food security and national security," James Comer, the Republican member of the House Committee on Oversight and Reform, said in a press release.

In the letter, the lawmakers called on the GAO to find a potential threat to America's food supply in light of the purchase and subsequently inform Congress how to "best protect the security of the American people."

"When he took office, about 60% of people said that. The reason, in many ways, that he took office I think was because he was honest Uncle Joe. People trusted him to be decent and take care of us. That has completely slipped," said Carter, noting that 16% of Democrats responded that Biden is not honest and trustworthy.

Carter recommended that Biden admit that the nation is facing troubles to prove he's not out of touch.

But Biden’s fixes for America will be ruinous if they are enacted.

Ahead of the speech, Capitol Hill was again surrounded by an 8-foot-high black metal fence. This was the third year in a row Congress was barricaded off from the American people for a Biden appearance. Is this the new “window dressing” to ensure common folk never approach the “Temple of Democracy” when sacred rites are occurring?

The president summoned Republicans to support his “Unity Agenda.” But the secret code name for the agenda is “Surrender, Dorothy!” That was the phrase the Wicked Witch of the West painted with her broomstick in the sky in “The Wizard of Oz.” Biden is inviting Republicans to submit after he denounced them as “semi-fascists” and enemies of democracy. He repeated his smear linking Jan. 6 to the October attack on Paul Pelosi — even though it’s known that Pelosi’s alleged attacker was a deranged drug addict unconnected to Republicans.

State of the Union speeches often resemble old-time medicine side shows, with presidents huffing and puffing to restore faith in the government. The goal is to make people believe that the next $5 trillion politicians spend will make everyone’s lives better — unlike the failed programs that ran up a $31 trillion national debt.

Every single Democrat in the Virginia House of Representatives voted against a bill this week that would make it illegal for teachers in the state to conceal a student’s transgender “gender identity” from their parents.

Under Virginia House Bill 2432, also known as “Sage’s Law,” teachers would be required to inform parents if a student requests to move forward with “social transitions” at school, such as going by preferred pronouns and a chosen name. The legislation would also require the school to obtain at least one parent’s permission before implementing anything concerning the child’s “gender incongruence” at school, including counseling, Fox News reported. In addition, the bill clarifies that “child abuse” does not include “misgendering.” The bill passed on Tuesday with one Republican and all 47 Democrats voting against it.

“I am disappointed that all Democrats voted against this common sense bill,” Del. Dave LaRock, a Republican who introduced the bill, wrote.

The legislation is named after “Sage,” a 14-year-old girl who was reportedly sex trafficked twice and sexually assaulted after the state removed her from her parents’ custody to protect her from “misgendering,” a term used to describe referring to someone by pronouns that do not align with their gender identity. Sage reportedly identified as a boy and her school and the state believed that her transgender identity would not be affirmed under her parents’ care.

One young girl's devastating story is fueling outrage and action in Virginia after she was victimized by sex trafficking predators, aided by a failing system that places transgender ideology ahead of parental rights.

The Virginia House of Delegates K-12 subcommittee voted 5-3 this week to refer Sage's Law to the Committee on Education for final vote. Sage's Law, also known as the Child Protection Act, is sponsored by Delegate Dave LaRock and aims to protect the rights of parents and the safety of children who are dealing with gender confusion.

If enacted, Sage's Law would prohibit schools from encouraging children to hide gender identity changes from their parents. It would provide counseling services to those students who identify as a gender different from their biological sex, and it would make, at a minimum, one of the student's parents aware. If there is a suspected risk of suicide, social services must be contacted by school officials.

The bill stems from a series of horrifying incidents in 2021 in which an Appomattox County High School student named Sage was targeted by sex predators after fleeing from her legal guardians upon their delayed discovery of her gender transition at school.

Biden defends response to Chinese balloon


An unnamed senior State Department official has claimed the balloon was capable of “signals intelligence collection operations”

US President Joe Biden has defended his administration’s response after a Chinese-made balloon crossed into American airspace, insisting the suspicious device did not represent a “major breach.” While lawmakers in both parties have criticized the delay in shooting down the craft, Biden said it was done as soon as possible.

The president was asked about the balloon incident during an interview with the Spanish-language outlet Noticias Telemundo on Thursday, suggesting it never posed serious risk to life or limb while stating he has no regrets about the US reaction.

Both Republicans and Democrats alike have criticized the president for waiting nearly a week before ordering the balloon to be shot down, but Biden cited concerns among military officials that the craft could fall into a populated area and cause harm, saying the order was given as soon as possible.

‘Boxes of documents in Boston’ latest reveal in Biden classified saga

WASHINGTON — Emails released Friday by the National Archives reveal references to President Biden’s lawyers handing over boxes of documents in Boston — confirming a little-known detail in the chronology of Biden’s classified documents scandal.

“Please ensure that the boxes in your office in Boston remain secure in a locked space and are not accessed by anyone,” National Archives official Gary Stern wrote on Nov. 7 to Biden attorneys Patrick Moore and Bob Bauer.

The email was sent five days after Biden’s lawyers say they discovered classified documents at Biden’s post-vice presidency office at the Penn Biden Center in Washington.

CNN reported in January that Moore shipped some Penn Biden Center documents to his Boston law office before he discovered classified records.

The records removed to Boston were believed not to contain sensitive information, the outlet reported at the time. The new emails, however, raise questions about the nature of the documents given the protocols requested by the National Archives.

On Nov. 8, Stern wrote to Bauer and Moore, “we would like to pick up the boxes that are in your Boston office and move them to the JFK Library. Would it be possible to do that tomorrow?”
