. . did you happen to know which country has produced the most Westerns . . ?

It isn't exactly clear why but somehow the most Westerns were produced in the country of spaghetti and sauce . .

. . hence the expression 'Italo-Western'.

What is also interesting to note is that in Italo-Westerns mostly Sicilians were cast as Mexicans. . playing the role of Mexicans since mostly Sicilians are the 'darkest' Italians . .

It was amusing to see those Sicilian "Mexicans" in spaghetti Westerns like A Fistful of Dollars and The Good, The Bad and The Ugly.

Hence the name "spaghetti westerns."

I generally hate westerns. I did like this one, which I have read is called an "anti-western."

I think both lead actors were good looking, especially Redford, and I'm not even partial to blonde guys.

Feministas like yourself hate classic westerns for the natural way men and women are portrayed in them and their unvarnished depiction of the White male Patriarchy that once existed in America ...they don't pander to your warped 'progressive' view of the world and yourself.

Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid (1969) Trailer #1 | Movieclips Classic Trailers
Of course you like this film, Butch and Sundance are portrayed as 'nice guys' (pussies) by two of hollywood's top male movie stars set to jew Burt Bacharach's light hearted tunes ...in contrast to the stone cold killers they were in reality.
