That's a good one to start with, for sure.

#2: Order and distribute a batch of our VNN calling cards. One can do so whilst remaining 100% anonymous. Just leave one here or there during your daily routine.

A Net Nazi can comfortably insult, question, spread rumors about, or call out the credentials or even racial makeup of anyone online without fear that they would get their ass kicked in person. And thus they do it frequently e.g. 999.

I think the title is a bit confusing. Usually "net-Nazi" is an insulting term, though some prove to be deserving of it. I think if he had named the thread something like- "What kind of activism can we do using the Internet" it would have been clearer.

Good point (from someone who remembers the infamous "Net Nazis Must Die!!!" thread on USENET).

I think most of the suggestions here are examples of what has not worked so well in the past; that is, if one wants a mainstream, politically-empowered audience.

Angry white power music is not going to convert the silent majority in middle America.

Neither will pointed commentary about Jews/Negroes.

My advice is to hit them with practical, powerful, aggressive ideas that do not involve in any way shape or form attempting to "justify" your position.

What I would like to see is a discussion of how to spread the URL around in cyberspace without having to waste time registering at a million different chat rooms and so forth. How about yahoo groups? Is there a way to spread the word to many yahoo or MSN user groups, perhaps by identifying likely affinity groups? Any ideas?

Sorry about the confusing terminology. But my point is that there seems to be
different levels of activism a person and some people get accustommed to them gradually.

Bots. But otherwise, not really. Some services like ezboard and runboard allow global registration, so you can post to any one of their forums, but consequently they're sensitive to troll complaints.

I think the term Net Nazi is used wrongly by many today. If you are a professional Net Nazi that will never do anything other than criticize people working for their race, then it is a bad thing. However most modern racists begin their work as a Net Nazi. I wasn’t Jew wise (other than the writings of Hitler) until I got the Internet. I searched for White Power and two years later that search casually led me to a site called “Vanguard News Network”. For quite a while I became a Net Nazi learning the ways of the Jew and why they were the enemy. I never could figure out how blacks could do all the things they did to whites because they were simply not intelligent enough. Then piece-by-piece I began to see the backbone of the black assault on whites came at the hand of the Jews.

Net Nazi should be a positive first step for the fed up and disgruntled searching for answers.

Yeah, I agree. Net Nazi implies ONLY on the net being a Nazi, and the Nazi part implies extremity without a plan, at least for most.

It's as bad as "Net Activist" which sounds like people shouting GET ON THE NET at passerby.
