Default Could this have been a result of a DOS attack?

This is what I got, a couple of months ago, as my Windows partition crashed:
(there's no backslash on this keyboard I'm using. Will have to use this instead: "/")
/WINN/System 32/c_1252.nls
It happened while I had a Vlaams Belang site open and this site too.
The Linux partition still works, though

can somebody explain to me: is Aryan linux replacment for Internet Expolrer/Firefox or it is replacment for Windows XP/vista?

its a replacemnt for your os (operating system) aka windows xp or vista or whatever...
