I'm unfamiliar with the precise Terms of Service that Network Solutions offers their clients, so I can't comment on whether they or Stormfront violated those terms. However Stormfront had been using that registrar for decades without any problems, and it's hardly as if they could have been unaware of what was on the site, since it's pretty highly visible. One big problem is that this could be new legal territory. Most domain hosts collect fees from their clients and there isn't outside pressure for them to kick people out.

Offhand I'm unaware of any US sites being terminated and their domain names seized for what amounts to purely partisan political reasons (as is apparently true in the case of Stormfront) or because of merely tasteless content (as was apparently true for the Daily Stormer), until very recently. Usually domain name seizures have been because of nonpayment of the registration fees or clearly illegal content, for example child porn, massive copyright infringements, or outright fraud. It's very likely new legal territory: It might be one thing for a registrar to terminate their relationship with a client whom they feel is more trouble than they're worth, but holding on to their domain name is something else again unless one of those more usual reasons applies. Terms like 'breach of contract' or 'unjust enrichment' on the part of the domain name registrar would seem likely to apply; they may well have opened themselves up to a massive lawsuit.

It will be interesting to see what happens today. A good lawyer could really put pressure on the domain host, and Stormfront might be back up today. At the very least, their "theft" of Stormfront's web address should be resolved. This is completely illegal. The domain host is acting more like a left-wing activist than a businessman. I wonder if the host was bought up by Soros.

Good points, though I'm not sure that it can be characterized yet as 'completely illegal'; that would depend on the exact wording of their Terms of Service and the exact reason for termination. We're very likely in uncharted territory in Internet law, but unless there is more to this story than we're being told, it would seem that Don Black would have very good chances to prevail in court should he have the resources to take his case there.

I've been on Stormfront a long time, and VNN was constantly bashed (along with The Daily Stormer) by both Stormfront members and by every single moderator, without one exception. I was one of the few to defend VNN, but only so far, since Stormfront mods would start sending out ominous vibes that I'd better stop it or I would be made "account inactive". I post only here on the web, but I read the Phora because there are some very good minds over there and they are mostly racially aware. They are mostly jew wise too.

But, my point for bringing this up is that there is a moderator over there named Macrobious who I think is based on the west coast and is clearly nothing short of genius. He knows his stuff as far as internet workings go and has been documenting what has been going on with all these pro White websites getting shut down. He also appears to be working on.options for folks like us who believe in free speech and need a place to post.

It wouldn't hurt people here to follow him to stay on top of what's going on. I probably understand a fraction of what he writes, but others thank him for his work.

On my previous post I put the links to Network Solutions Directors and major shareholders. I left out the point I was going to make which is what MDK has basically said.

Soros loves to pay others to do his dirty work for him so he might be good buddies with one of the directors (or all of them) or he might even own some good chunks of one or more of those corporations that own the stock.

Nothing would surprise me these days about that piece of jew scum.

The left-wing activist law firm claimed that Stormfront "promotes deadly violence." Meanwhile Stormfront policy prohibited any posts that advocated violence. I wonder why the domain host even took the complaint seriously.

This latest news article pretty much confirms what many of us thought. Don Black is talking with his lawyers to see what his options are.

If this kind of abrupt denial of service based on cooked up complaints from a dishonest left-wing activist law firm is allowed to stand, everyone on the Right is going to be kicked off the Internet.

He also doesn't want to bring Stormfront online on different domain because he wants to maintain its popular domain (.org) since everyone knows that address, that isn't currently possible so we'll have to wait a bit longer for it to go up.

If someone is paying to have a website with a specific name attached to it, it seems overwhelmingly obvious that the client should have the rights to that name.

Otherwise a domain host could simply steal the website address of anyone who builds up a successful Internet business and sell it to the highest bidder.

The claims by the activist law-firm are complete hogwash. The claim about advocating violence was completely made up. Also posting the truth about Blacks, Latinos and Muslims is seen as "hate" by everyone on the Left, but the truth should never be considered "hateful" except by people who don't like the truth and live in a delusional world of crazy people.
