But I can say I agree with most of their philosophy, (the aprt I am not so on board with is this http://demipagan.freeyellow.com/christo-pagan.html with the exception of D.) In this , I am not 'taking issue' with the things I don't feel connected to, I am promoting the fact that they are not aligned with the PC/Wicca people. I would not say I am anti-Xtian at all, and I was raised (until 10-12 when it was all but discarded) Greek Orthodox (though most Greeks are very Nationalistic, they dont identify as WNs). Given the climate of todays Christianity and those whom it allies itself with, I feel it is no longer for me at present. Im not interested in "Identity Xtian" at this point either, though I don't condemn those who are. I don't feel it "in the blood".
I also do not align myself to what is known as the "CA pagan community" which is "anything goes" for the most part short of things that carry alife sentence or the death penalty WHen I was younger I made my mistakes with the Wicca/hippie/m/c (multicult) people.It just seemed to me a big hot tub party, replete with drugs , (in the 80's I was once slipped MDMA ina joint "accidentally" though it had no effect, still I was very pissed)- In short it was boring, disappointing and dissolute. Also I was irritated that groups like this that preach "open borders" of their members and philosophies, are sometiems quite uptight about people bringing in knowledge that might not be part of their particular brand -In SF, there are loads of Pagans, but most are super PC, and many are very "gay oriented" rather than Hetero-family oriented. Even if one is not 'anti-gay" and doesnt care what people do, a straight might feel on the outside of their subculture, just lacking in common their , ahem "lifestyle".. Let me say , without even giving the obligatory fag disdain (im so used to them here), that their approach to the Gods is not the same as would be a Hetero approach. They can do what they want in their own gay pagan whatever, but I am not going to join it.
so... I was happy to find that there is an alternative to that, outnumbered by the previously described type though we may be. I try not to become PO'd about the twisting of ancient lore/practices into modern day m/c wicca belliefs in order to fit their agenda.. (which is firmly entrenched in PC politics, as a WN I most certainly would not be welcome).

Yeah I know, and I also know this place isnt as heavily policed as SF. but the third factor is some people, yes , even real WN's just didnt have the advantage of being raised in such a way as to know how to address people- Im more worried about their lacking in such skills than in my being offended , in the grander scheme of things.

I'm sorry for the delay in getting back to you all on when the next GoyFire will be available.

As you may have noticed, there has been a lot of work being done to restructure VNN in many ways and some fine additions will be coming online as well.

I personally am in the midst of relocating my family to a new domicile. Between painting and cleaning, packing and moving things one pickup load at a time, and gigs providing live music production for a local band I make a few sheckels working for, I haven't been able to nail down any 'free time' that coincides with everyone's schedule involved in GoyFire.

Between all these things we may be able to compromise on a meeting time soon. I just wanted to let you know that I will do everything I can to get back to a normal routine with the show asap. I also have other show ideas on the backburner but again, time is a consideration right now.
