Suspect linked to 2016 Nice attack arrested in Italy

Italian media say a 28-year-old Albanian wanted in connection with a 2016 truck attack in the French city of Nice that killed 86 people has been arrested in southern Italy

ROME -- Italian media say a 28-year-old Albanian wanted in connection with a 2016 truck attack in the French city of Nice that killed 86 people has been arrested in southern Italy.

News agency LaPresse said police arrested the suspect, identified as Endri Elenzi, on Wednesday in Sparanise about 40 kilometers (25 miles) north of Naples.

Elenzi was wanted on a European arrest warrant issued by France for allegedly having provided arms to the attacker, Mohamed Lahouaiej Bouhlel, Lapresse said.
(...)
The Islamic State group claimed responsibility for the July 14, 2016, attack. French authorities say that Bouhlel, a Tunisian with French residency, was inspired by the extremist group’s propaganda, but that no evidence has been found that IS orchestrated the attack.

Albanians seem to be overrepresented in the bloodthirsty, jew-backed terrorist organization ISIS (which is mainly interested in murdering innocent Europeans and fighting Pissrael's enemies in the Middle East, like Hezbollah, Syria, Iran, the Palestinians, etc.)

Illegal Albanian immigrant, 29, who became one of London's biggest drug kingpins is facing jail after police raided his home and found five kilos of cocaine hidden under child's cot

An illegal Albanian immigrant who became one of London's biggest drug kingpins is facing jail after police found £1.1million of cocaine in his house.
Muhamet Qosja, 29, stored five kilo blocks of cocaine, a handgun and 20 rounds of ammunition in bags under a child's cot at his house in Ilford, east London.

Another six kilos of cocaine and drugs paraphernalia was found in laundry bags.

Qosja - who stored the drugs before distributing them to street dealers - bragged to officers that he sneaked into Britain illegally in 2014 and decided to deal drugs because it 'paid well'.

Double Murderer Has Been Living in UK as Fake Refugee for Up to 24 Years

JACK MONTGOMERY 23 Apr 2021

An Albanian double murderer has been at large in Britain for up to 24 years, falsely posing as a refugee from Kosovo.

49-year-old Artan Muca gunned down two men with a Kalashnikov rifle in a billiards shop in his native country in 1997 but managed to escape justice by fleeing to the United Kingdom and lodging a bogus asylum claim in which he posed a Kosovan refugee, according to a Telegraph report.

Tried and sentenced to 25 years behind bars in absentia by an Albanian court, Muca was working in Britain as the director of a transport firm and had barely a year left to go before he would have been protected from punishment under the statute of limitations laws in Albania when he was arrested at his London home by British police officers.

A magistrate has now remanded him into custody pending extradition to Albania — although it is not a sure thing that the British state will successfully effect his removal from the country.

Here's a new Daily Mail article about Albanian criminals that was published today:

Quote:
Revealed: Albanian crooks suspected of murder, drug-trafficking and armed robbery are holed up in the UK and protected by crime syndicates as a safe haven to evade justice

By MARK HOOKHAM FOR THE MAIL ON SUNDAY
PUBLISHED: 01:55 BST, 25 April 2021 | UPDATED: 02:32 BST, 25 April 2021

Albanians suspected of crimes including murder, drug-trafficking and armed robbery are using the UK as a safe haven to evade justice, The Mail on Sunday can reveal.

There has been a flood of recent cases in which EU states are trying to extradite Albanian men accused, and in some cases convicted, of serious crimes overseas who have fled to the UK and gone into hiding, according to court records.
(...)
At least 30 wanted Albanian men discovered living in the UK have faced extradition hearings since January last year, according to records at Westminster Magistrates' Court, which handles all such proceedings in England and Wales.
(...)
Half of the extradition requests were made by the Italian government, including that of Ergys Gerbeti, 38, who was convicted of possessing and supplying cocaine but fled house arrest last year and slipped into the UK.

He was arrested last September and agreed to be extradited at a court hearing in February.

Italy is also trying to extradite Mentor Shehu, 47, who is suspected of being part of the notorious Shijak cartel that shipped cocaine to Italy on ferries from the Albanian port of Durres.

He was jailed for eight years for drug offences in 2010 but fled to Britain in 2014 after completing his parole. He is in prison awaiting a court's decision on the extradition bid.

Meanwhile, police swooped on armed robber Faiken Dokaj at Luton Airport last month. He had been hiding in the UK since 2018 after being sentenced in Italy for six robberies. Despite being a fugitive, he had married and acquired the right to reside in the UK.

The following article (which was published today on JTA) might seem off topic since it's not about Albanians, but I'm nevertheless posting it here because it shows the influence that jews have in the Balkans:

A Bosnian War prosecutor from Boston is trying to help Sarajevo’s Jews survive a brutal COVID-19 surge

BY BETTE KEVA APRIL 26, 2021 3:48 PM

Phillip Weiner on the toll COVID has taken on Bosnia's Jewish community: "It's a horror show." (Courtesy of Weiner)

(Jewish Journal-Massachusetts via JTA) — It’s been nearly a decade since Phillip Weiner last lived in Sarajevo, where he served as an international war crimes judge.

But Weiner has remained in touch with the Bosnian Jews he met there, and when he heard about their plight during the COVID-19 pandemic, he knew he had to do something.

Serving in the Hague court at the Yugoslavia war crimes tribunal, Weiner prosecuted those responsible for the atrocities committed during the Bosnian War from 1992 through 1995. He lived off and on in Sarajevo, now the capital of Bosnia-Herzegovina, for more than four years from 2006 to 2012, and attended Shabbat services at the Jewish Community Synagogue.

Weiner became acquainted with many prominent members of the city’s Jewish community, some of whom are now falling victim to COVID-19 amid a surge in cases there. His contacts say the pandemic has claimed the lives of as much as 5% of Bosnia’s tiny Jewish community.

“Many Jews are dying. It’s a horror show,” Weiner said. “David Kamhi, a prominent concert violinist and diplomat, died. Jakob Finci, the president of the Jewish Community of Bosnia-Herzegovina, is in serious condition.”

Throughout the years I've seen White Nationalists refer to the Hague Tribunal as an illegitimate jew court. Looks like they were right - although, quite frankly, one didn't have to read the above JTA article to know that.

'Drug kingpin' of a $100M cocaine trafficking ring is charged: Albanian immigrant worked with Michigan CEO - who died when his plane nosedived into a dairy barn - 'to develop a torpedo drugs submarine'

By EMILY CRANE FOR DAILYMAIL.COM
PUBLISHED: 17:13 BST, 22 April 2021 | UPDATED: 20:03 BST, 22 April 2021

An ex-Michigan man has been charged by federal officials for allegedly being the kingpin of a $100 million international cocaine trafficking organization that planned to use a submarine to transport drugs across the Atlantic.

Ylli Didani, 43, who is originally from Albania, was indicted by a federal grand jury on Wednesday with conspiracy to distribute cocaine.

Didani, who prosecutors allege is in charge of a global drug ring that distributed cocaine in 15 countries, was arrested in Charlotte, North Carolina late last month.
(...)
US authorities have been tracking Didani since back in 2015 after they became aware of his suspicious international travel and had been linked to money laundering and drug smuggling investigations.

During the years-long investigation, federal prosecutors said they were able to determine that Didani and his co-conspirators - who have not been indicted - planned and financed the distribution of cocaine from various locations, including Michigan.

Here's a really old newspaper article (from 2002) about ruthless and degenerate Albanian gangs taking over in the UK:

Quote:
Raped, beaten, sold - a child's view of Albanian gangs' vice grip on Britain

Scotland Yard fearful at spread of violent crime across Europe into UK cities

Nick Hopkins, crime correspondent
Mon 23 Dec 2002 00.28 GMT

Anna was 16 when she ran away from her pimp and was rescued from the streets by Scotland Yard's clubs and vice unit. To officers the treatment she received from Mustapha Kadiu was shocking, but it had a familiar ring; he threatened her at knifepoint and said he was going to kill her whenever she failed to earn between £400 and £500 a day (she charged £30 for straight sex). Rather than hitting her - as bruising would make her less attractive to potential clients - he punished her by raping her repeatedly.

Kadiu, an Albanian, ordered Anna (not her real name) to offer her customers unprotected anal sex to earn the money he required, but she told detectives she felt sick at the thought. Abusive as this was, officers discovered it was only part of a desperately sad story.

In protective custody where Anna finally felt safe, she started to reveal details of her past. This led officers out of London to Romania, where she was born and grew up. When she was 12 a relative sold her for £600 to criminals in the former Yugoslavia who forced her into vice. Her journey from there to north London illustrates the slave trade of children from east to west Europe for prostitution.

It also underlines the menace of a small number of Albanian criminals who have established themselves here over the past 10 years.

Bullying their way into the underworld, they have carved out a niche in the sex industry. Their signature is the willingness to use extreme violence, even by the standards of an exploitative and rough trade.

(...)
A recent assessment of the threat posed by Albanian criminals found many had come to the country working as the "muscle" for Turkish groups, but that they might be ready to challenge their masters for control of the multi-million pound herointrade.
(...)
"We will not tolerate this kind of activity," he said.

However, police sources admit that Albanian criminals are not easily intimidated, and that there is every chance that the UK will soon become their next battleground.

"They are pretty tough people, used to hardship," said one source. "If you lived in Albania and crime was your way out to a better life, you might think you've got nothing to lose. That's the way some of them behave."

This is the dramatic moment an Albanian immigrant who travelled to Britain illegally is pinned to the ground by paedophile hunters after trying to meet a 14-year-old girl for sex.

Edwuart Matranxhi, 22, believed he was speaking to a pair of schoolgirls called Laura and Louise when he arranged to meet them in Sunderland on June 30.

But he didn't realise he had actually been talking to Guardians of the North - a vigilante group set up to expose child sex offenders.

ROME (Sputnik) – Italian police have arrested an accomplice of the terrorist who perpetrated the 2016 truck ramming attack in the French city of Nice, media reported.

The accomplice was detained by the Interior Ministry's Digos unit in the province of Caserta, the southwestern region of Campania, the Сorriere della Sera newspaper reported on Wednesday. The operation was carried out after the information exchange with France.

The arrested person is Endri Elezi, a 28-year-old Albanian, who was searched in line with an EU warrant over the suspected arms supplies to the Nice attacker.

DURRES, Albania — Albania’s main port of Durres has welcomed a huge influx of containers and big trucks this week ahead of NATO exercises, a concentration of military vehicles that U.S. officials said has not been seen in the Adriatic nation since World War II.

Besides offering six naval, land and air bases, Albania, a NATO member since 2009, will commit 1,000 troops to what Defense Minister Niko Peleshi called “a historic event because it is the biggest exercise in Albania and the region.”

U.S. military officials praised Albania’s welcome, good food and natural beauty.

Muckenfuss said “Albania has been an amazing host and have greeted all of our soldiers with warmth.”

“It’s a great choice for the exercise,” Moran said. “I think you guys are coming up more or less like a hidden gem. So that the people are great, the food’s wonderful and the views are magnificent.”

Mother of God! Priti Patel wins war against boss of OCG - by stripping Albanian gangster of his right to live in Britain (*That's Organised Crime Group as Line of Duty fans know)

By MARK HOOKHAM FOR THE MAIL ON SUNDAY

Step aside, Ted Hastings: Priti Patel has won her own war against the boss of an OCG.

In a highly unusual move, the Home Secretary has successfully stripped an Albanian gangster of his right to live in Britain after persuading a court that he is a serious threat to 'the UK's public security and safety'.

Like 'H', the crime boss pursued by Hastings in the BBC drama Line Of Duty, detectives at the National Crime Agency (NCA) will only publicly refer to the criminal as 'B9'.

The case has exposed the extraordinary influence of Albanian organised crime.

Chris Farrimond, NCA deputy director of investigations, said: 'We believe this individual was a high-ranking member of a significant organised crime group involved in a range of serious criminality impacting upon the UK.'

Here's an article about Albanian crime that was published three days ago:

Quote:
Did Albanian robbers kill British mother with baby at her side? How upmarket Greek neighbourhood has been hit by THREE villa burglaries involving extreme violence in the months before murder - as husband cradles their baby at funeral

British mother Caroline Crouch, 20, was murdered in a brutal burglary at her home in an Athens suburb

Her 11-month-old daughter Lydia was found crying next to her mother's body in an attempt to wake her up

The heartbreaking tragedy was the latest in a number of similar crimes in the affluent neighbourhood

Greek authorities suspect the murderers were originally from nearby Albania with links to organised crime

By GEORGE ODLING IN ALONISSOS and PAUL BRACCHI FOR THE DAILY MAIL

PUBLISHED: 22:00 BST, 14 May 2021 | UPDATED: 23:32 BST, 14 May 2021

Dressed in a black suit, a young father carefully cradles his baby daughter in his arms and walks over to his wife’s coffin so they can tenderly lay a flower on top together.

It’s a heartbreaking scene under any circumstances, but especially so for the family of Caroline Crouch, who was laid to rest yesterday just three days after she was murdered in a burglary at her home in an affluent Athens suburb.

Her husband Charalambos Anagnostopoulos, 33, then addressed those who had come to say their final farewells on the island of Alonissos where Caroline, who held a British passport, had spent much of her childhood.
(...)
But was such a robbery so unusual? It seems not. The Mail can reveal that there have been at least three burglaries in the area in the past six months, where extreme violence — or the threat of such — has been a hallmark.

In December, four men broke into a house in nearby Chalandri, dragged a female occupant by the hair, before threatening to slit her throat and escaping with £8,000 in cash and jewellery. The similarities with the most recent robbery are stark. Four men were involved in both break-ins. In both cases they entered the property through a back window. On both occasions, they stole cash and jewels.

Caroline’s killers also made off with £20,000 of jewellery and around £10,000 in banknotes which, it has now emerged, was hidden in a Monopoly box, leading detectives to explore the theory that the burglars may have been acting on a tip-off.

Could someone the couple knew have betrayed them or were they just the victims of random fate?

There is something else these home invasions have in common. The authorities suspect Albanians were responsible, a police source told the Mail.

Greece shares a border with Albania and more than one million Albanians live in the country. There are currently more than 200 outstanding arrest warrants for Albanians, who are believed to have fled back to their homeland.

Albanians claim they have been made scapegoats in the past which, in turn, has led to protests by the Albanian government and calls for the protection of Albanian immigrants.

Nevertheless, the link between Albanians and violent and organised crime — such as human trafficking, extortion and robbery — all over Europe is undeniable. So, yes, there is anger as well as grief over Caroline’s merciless killing.

Yes, the influence that Albanians have in organized crime in Europe is huge, and there's no way in hell that a people from such a small, poor and insignificant country could amass so much power without the jews' approval and/or help. I'm glad that this important thread about the relationship between Albanians and international jewry was started.
