I was reading reports of police even working with them in beating muds, or at least arresting muds and not GD when it happens. Anyone know how much truth to this there is as opposed to media hysteria?

Golden Dawn is the only party I've seen in Europe that appears to be legitimate.

Winks and nods - they're not enough for the winners (jews). They shouldn't be enough for our side either. Accept the inferior, and that's what you end up with.

I'd say the NDP is legit, but constrained by some of the worst speech laws out there, the fact they worked so closely w/ WLP should show where they stand.

Of course there is the issue of govt. infiltration that was shown in 2003, but I would be shocked if GD didn't have informants running around the party...

Rise of Golden Dawn Terrifies Globalists
May 04, 2012 AFP

It seems certain at this point that Golden Dawn will enter Parliament

By Pete Papaherakles

Golden Dawn, Greece’s most-recognized populist political party has the establishment shaking in their pants in fear of a huge victory in the upcoming May 6 elections. Their fast-rising popularity due to a strong patriotic message along with crippling economic woes and massive illegal immigration, has seen the party that was only a grass roots nationalist movement with only a 0.29% showing in the 2009 election explode to 5.5% in official polls; just four months ago they were only at 1.5%. Many feel that their real numbers are much higher.

Although the preferred strategy by the media had been to completely ignore them, their popularity is growing so rapidly that the current plan is to constantly defame and slander them in order to scare the masses from joining their ranks. As is done throughout Europe and the West in general, nationalist groups are routinely portrayed as fascists, Nazis and hooligans. The ultimate big gun of defamation is to compare the party leader to Adolph Hitler. Browbeaten since WW II with horror stories of a monstrous Hitler and his alleged “holocaust” of the Jews, the people are conditioned into a Pavlovian knee-jerk reaction of repulsion to anyone portrayed as a Nazi.

The roughly two million illegal aliens that entered Greece over the past two decades, mostly in the last five years, are portrayed by the media as innocent refugees, although Greece’s crime rate, once one of the lowest in the world, has skyrocketed in recent years exclusively due to illegal immigration. Golden Dawn’s support of the victimized Greeks and their insistence that the borders be closed and illegals deported has been portrayed as fascist and cruel by the mainstream media even as Greece’s 22% unemployment rate is twice the Eurozone average and bare survival is becoming impossible for Greeks. In fact, Golden Dawn alone has provided food and assistance to the neediest Greeks, completely at their own expense.

Even though Golden Dawn’s policies strictly prohibit violence and seek only political solutions to these problems, they are consistently portrayed as violent thugs and are routinely provoked into situations of self-defense by agents provocateurs in order to incriminate them as Nazi thugs in the mainstream media.

Not only are the Greek media and rival political parties pursuing this mudslinging, but as Golden Dawn’s popularity is surging, the international media is joining in this smear. Recently, both The New York Times and Bloomberg News have written derogatory articles about them with constant references to Hitler and “goose-stepping Nazis.” Their ancient Greek symbol of the meander design has been called a “disentangled swastika” by Bloomberg. The leader of Golden Dawn, Nikos Michaloliakos has been accused of being a Nazi for giving a raised arm salute in the Athenian Council in protest to being called a fascist by an adversary. That image has been played over and over again in the mainstream media.

On May 1st, in an exclusive AMERICAN FREE PRESS interview with Michaloliakos, this writer asked him about the allegations of Nazi salutes and swastika flags.

“First of all we don’t have any official salute of any sort. The so-called Heil Hitler! salute did not originate with the Nazis anyway. The Romans used it and the ancient Greeks used it before them. The same applies to our flag. Those that see a swastika on our flags need to have their eyes checked because what we have is the traditional Greek key design which everyone recognizes as Greek and is on so many ancient Greek artifacts. The swastika, by the way, also did not originate with the Nazis and is again found on many ancient Greek designs as well as Egyptian, Hindu and even Chinese. It was a symbol of the life force that emanated from the Sun. All this is an attempt to scare people with Nazi ghosts.”

Michaloliakos is optimistic about the upcoming elections. Asked to predict what type of a vote share Golden Dawn will get, he replied, ” I feel pretty confident that although the polls give us 5 %, we will get at least 8%.”

In Greece’s Parliamentary system it is not winner takes all as it is in the U.S. two-party system. Once a candidate reaches 3% of the vote, the minimum needed to enter Parliament, they are awarded their percentage share of the 300 Parliament seats.

“If we get 8% of the vote, we will have about twenty Golden Dawn members in Parliament,” said Michaloliakos.

That is a huge victory considering that they have never had a single representative there before. Also, unlike the U.S. two-party system, there are currently 16 parties competing in the Greek election. Half will probably enter Parliament with the top ones forming a ruling coalition but all of them having some influence.

What issues will Golden Dawn promote?

“Our main priorities are to expel all illegal immigrants, to repudiate the illegal debt and to massively increase productivity in order to get the Greek economy moving again. Also, we need to restore our national values and bring back justice. Criminals have to be punished.”

Interestingly, Michaloliakos did not feel that exiting the Eurozone and returning to the drachma was the right move at this time.

“First we need to increase productivity and then we can talk about returning to the drachma” he said. “Without a productive economy it would be a mistake to return to the drachma.”

One thing is certain. Golden Dawn will be in the Parliament and it will be a strong force for nationalist Greek interests as opposed to internationalist banking interests.

Of course it is true, similar things also happen in Russia, many of the cops have had enough of the day to day shit that the criminals and illegal immigrants create, even if they are not necessarily nationalist. As is to be expected the jew media screams when stuff like this happens.

One of every two police officers voted for Golden Dawn

11 May 2012 / 14:05:48 GRReporter

More than one out of two police officers voted for Golden Dawn in the elections last Sunday reads an article in the Greek daily To Vima. This shows the analysis of counted votes in polling stations in Athens and especially in the areas and neighbourhoods of Ambelokipi and Kesariani. Around five thousand police officers serving in the police stations in the capital voted there on a mass scale.

In most of these sections, where other citizens voted too, the rate of Golden Dawn varies between 19-24% and is the highest in the entire area of Athens. For comparison, in neighbourhoods such as Agios Panteleimonas and Kipseli, where the party is considered to have a strong influence, the rates are 15-18%.

In particular, the highest election results of Golden Dawn were reported in 11 polling stations in the first constituency in Athens. According to lists, thousands of uniformed citizens, serving in the main police station of the region of Athens and in other police stations, voted there. The polling stations are located in the area around the building of the central police station. 23.08% of the votes for Golden Dawn were concentrated in one of them, 22.7% in another one and 22.2% - in a third polling station.

However, the fact is that in a neighbouring polling station, located at a distance of several hundred metres, the Golden Dawn rate falls to 12-14%. Given that between 550-700 voters vote in these sections according to the voter lists and that the number of police officers is between 20-30% of voters on average, the percentage of the police officers who voted for Golden Dawn is between 45-59%.

Moreover, in four polling stations in the neighbourhood of Kesariani, where the central offices of riot forces are located and many of their members vote, the Golden Dawn rate is between 13-19%. This result is also quite impressive if compared with the results from nearby polling stations, where the party received between 7-10% of the votes.

In an interview for Alpha TV, two newly elected deputies presented the positions of the party, including placing mines in border areas and deploying troops along borders. They believe that these will protect Greece from the immigrant wave.

It appears that the election results have inspired Golden Dawn followers, who are showing their true face each passing day. A public transport controller made the familiar command, "Stand to attention" to two dark-skinned immigrants, probably from Bangladesh, who had no tickets. He added, "This is Greece" and then pushed them to the middle door of the trolley.

An elderly woman, who had also failed to punch her ticket, because the devices in trolleys are blocked upon the entry of controllers in order for irregular passengers to be caught, tried to protect them. She and another woman got off with the controllers and the two men from Bangladesh at the stop near the entrance of the parliament, where there is always a police bus. The woman told the controller that she would file a complaint against him, but he did not care.

To her remark in the presence of police officers from the riot forces that he had no right to use physical violence against passengers and to speak in this way he shouted, "I am a fascist and a supporter of Golden Dawn. I will speak and do whatever I want."

It all ended after a ten-minute dispute, during which the controller continued to glorify fascism and make threatening gestures to the immigrants. Meanwhile, a crowd of people gathered around them, who protested against his conduct. Only witnesses who commented that not only disciplinary but also legal penalties should be imposed on the controller remained there.

Former rabbi of the Jewish community of Salonika, calls on Israel to pressure Greece over neo-Nazi party.

Rabbi Mordechai Frizis, formerly the rabbi of the Jewish community of Salonika, Greece, spoke to Arutz Sheva on Wednesday about Greek Jews concerns following the election of the neo-Nazi Golden Dawn Party to parliament.

The extreme-right political party, whose logo closely resembles a swastika, received seven percent of the vote, twice the minimum threshold level required to send representatives to parliament, giving them 21 parliament seats out of 300.

The militant, ultra-nationalist, party seeks to restore national pride to Greece and expel foreigners. The party campaigned heavily on an anti-immigrant platform under the slogan "so we can rid this land of filth."

These are people with swastikas, the Nazi salute, Nazi ideology and they blatantly say they want a new Holocaust, Rabbi Frizis told Arutz Sheva.

He added, Many people voted for this party because of the great economic despair. They are basically going back one hundred years and blaming the Jews for the economic situation".

Rabbi Frizis noted that it is not the first anti-Semitic move in Greece, saying, Last year a neo-Nazi leader in Greece was brought to trial after writing a book in which he announced his desire to destroy the Jewish people and the court acquitted him. We saw two synagogues being torched over the last two years and now this party enters parliament.

When I speak with the Jews of Greece I hear that they are concerned, he added. They did not expect that their country would agree to such a thing.

Rabbi Frizis admitted, however, that despite the difficulties, it is not likely that Greek Jews will make aliyah to Israel en masse.

For the Jews it is difficult to make a decision to immigrate to Israel, he said. I, as a religious man, hope everyone will come to Israel, but right now the State of Israel, which has good relations with Greece, needs to pressure the Greek government.

He added, When things like this happen all the Jews throughout the world should wake up. It does not only concern the Jews of Greece but it could start a domino effect that will spread to Italy, France and Spain where there are also financial problems. Neo-Nazi parties must not be given legitimacy in Europe.

On Tuesday, the Central Board of Jewish Communities in Greece issued a statement saying that it believed that "the May 6 election of those nostalgic for fascism and Nazism was a serious blow for Greek democracy."

"We are confident that our fellow citizens, the democratic forces in the Greek Parliament, the media and the spirit and culture of the people will continue to strive to combat racism, intolerance and anti-Semitism," the statement read.

"We all have a duty to preserve our dignity, and preserve the principles of liberty, democracy and humanity," the statement added.

Right now, Golden Dawn is not coming out against Jews, said the president of the Greek Jewish community in Salonika. Instead, it attacks immigrants. Still, there are right-wing extremists, and we need to assess the situation and see how Greeces democracy will deal with this. There is no reason for worry.

Because they've been told for thousands of years that the whole world - including all that the goyeem have sweated & bled to create & possess - belongs to them. Because Gawd allegedly said so. Even today's majority atheist shitkikes behave as if this is true. Which is why they've got to take a mass quicklime dirtnap.

Nation wreckers feel the heat..

wrong hymie,
what must never be given legitimacy in Europe are any of the anti-white policies jews
have been constantly promoting;
removing jews is the mandatory first step in bettering society.
we have that shit diane specter as well the EU bragging about turning Europe shitskin,
then kikes kvetch when Humans decide against that kosher bullshit.
Racial interests for the international jew,
while always attacking any sense of race amongst Whites.

"the jews cries out in pain as he strikes you."
Man, jews really just don't get it.
but they do.
jews basically know they are guilty,
they hate Whites, they want the end of Whites as a race,
not just some minority status,
so when Nationalists speak out against the evils jews are guilty of they always play that same game of
poor innocents..

quote:
The business of kike requires a delicate balance --
just enough 'anti-semitism' to keep the alarm bells ringing and the contribution$ pouring in,
yet not enough to cause that sick, disgusting race to be blotted away like the inconsequential stain which it is.
Pearson

a couple of "Nazis" talking about jews back in the early 20th century:

"Every time new and promising opportunities for meddling have arisen," he brought out,
"the Jew has been immediately involved.
He has demonstrated an uncanny ability to sniff out like a bloodhound anything which was dangerous to him.
Having found it, he uses all his cunning to get at it, to divert it, to change its nature, or, at least, to deflect its point from its goal.
Schopenhauer called the Jew 'the dregs of mankind,' 'a beast,' 'the great master of the lie.'
How does the Jew respond?
He establishes a Schopenhauer Society.

"With exactly the same right," I interjected, "the two of us could join a Talmud Society.
What impudence that would require! Inconceivable."

"Not to the Jew," he replied.
"To him impudence has no meaning.
He is only able to think in terms of advantage or disadvantage, profit or loss."

UPDATE: Greek President, Party Leaders Fail To Bridge Gap In Coalition
8:48 AM ET 5/13/12 | Dow Jones

ATHENS (Dow Jones)--Greece's political party leaders failed to bridge differences in a last-ditch effort to form a coalition government Sunday, and new elections appeared inevitable even as talks to end the country's political impasse continued, renewing fears of an impending Greek exit from the euro zone.

President Karolos Papoulias summoned the three party bosses from the conservative New Democracy, Socialist Pasok and radical-leftist Syriza parties, to a special council after each had failed to form a government following six days of efforts.

The meeting broke off after less than two hours of talks with no apparent agreement as Syriza insisted that it wouldn't join or support New Democracy and Pasok in a government that would seek to implement the austerity policies agreed with international creditors under Greece's latest bailout, which his party opposes.

"They're asking for accomplices to austerity. We can't take part in this crime," Syriza leader Alexis Tsipras said after the talks.

But conservative leader Antonis Samaras told reporters coalition talks would continue while Socialist leader Evangelos Venizelos said there was "limited optimism" a deal might be reached as talks would continue with other parties.

Venizelos, Greece's former finance minister, renewed his call for a cross-party coalition to rule the country--and lashed out at Greece's radical leftists for blocking one--but said his party was ready to head for fresh elections if needed.

"Despite an impasse in the meeting between the three parties and the President, I still have limited but real optimism that a coalition government can be formed," he said in a speech to Socialist party candidates immediately after the high-level talks.

The president is expected to meet later Sunday with the heads of four other smaller parties--ranging from Communists to the ultranationalist Golden Dawn party--who also won seats in Greece's legislature.

In contrast with the three-day mandates given to each of the parties after last week's inconclusive polls, the talks with the president face no set time limit and could last anywhere from a few hours to a week. Failure to reach a deal would lead to new elections next month.

Website of Greek neo-Nazi party is suspended

May 13, 2012

ATHENS, Greece (JTA) --The Greek neo-Nazi Golden Dawn Party, which won nearly seven percent of the vote in last week's elections, has had its official website taken down by its host, WordPress.

"This blog has been archived or suspended for a violation of our Terms of Service," said a message from WordPress that replaced the Dawn Party's homepage.

The web page hosting service bars sites that include "hate content" or "contain threats or incite violence towards individuals or entities."

The extreme-right Golden Dawn Party, whose flag closely resembles the Nazi swastika, received 21 seats in parliament, the first time it passed the threshold to enter the legislative body. It campaigned heavily on an anti-immigrant platform under the slogan "So we can rid this land of filth."

Despite its strong showing, it is not clear how many Golden Dawn members would ultimately end up as lawmakers, as Greece appears headed to fresh elections. A poll published Sunday in the local To Vima newspaper indicated that in a new vote, Golden Dawn support would shrink to less than 4 percent.

Last week's elections resulted in a fractured parliament as voters protested against the mainstream parties they blame for the country's financial crisis and for accepting harsh European austerity measures.

Greek President Karolos Papoulias was holding last-ditch effort talks with political leaders on Sunday trying to form a national unity government after the three largest parties failed to assemble a coalition. If the bid fails, the country must hold new elections in June.

Greece's Jewish community has condemned the rise of Golden Dawn as "a serious blow for Greek democracy."

Golden Dawn is also alleged to have close relations with the police. Recent reports have suggested that one in two police officers voted for the party and for several years citizens, journalists and politicians have been condemning its relationship with special riot-control The internet is flooded with pictures and videos of uniformed police working side by side with neo-Nazi thugs throwing stones at demonstrators, union members and even journalists.

Interesting how the lovers of democracy can't handle it when we use the so called democratic route and win.

Certainly this article makes uncomfortable reading- but not for the reasons the author gives.

He directly compares Golden Dawn with the Nazis in Germany. Fair enough. So do I.

But having established the historical similarity, he makes exactly the same mistake in trying to explain the rise of a Fascist party as did the Hard Left in germany in the 1920s.

They accused the Nazis of being the tools of the Capitalists; they claimed the Nazis had close links with the police and media and were funded by Big Business. They said the answer to the Nazis was to support Communism and smash the capitalist system.

We now know that this was all nonsense and that the Nazis were their own people, almost entirely funded by voluntary donations by members, manipulated and used their links with the Press, Bib Business and other elites to suit themselves, that they represented a real anger amongst ordinary Germans at unemployment, the Treaty of versailles etc, and that by calling for Communist Reviolution and by rejecting all compromise solutions of a tactical alliance with the Social Democrats, they allowed the Nazis to sweep into power on a wave of anti-Communist fear. Hitler laughed and seized power whilst the rival Socialists squabbled and blamed each other.

If History teaches us one thing from the rise of the Nazis is that the Left have to unite and co-operate and be prepared to compromise to keep them out of power.

The Left in Greece meanwhile (and to his credit the author accepts this) are so busy fighting each other, they are letting the Fascists in by default.

It's this sort of gray-area suppression that is short of formal censorship but not the same thing as right-of-contract either that is not talked enough about by our side. Our not talking about it gives liars like Jared Taylor the courage to claim "we're doing it to ourselves." We are not. It is being done to us. By actions such as Word Press has taken, most assuredly under implied threat by unseen but easily guessable forces.

Everywhere the jew-owned media explicitly alleges a "neo-nazi" nature about the democratically elected Golden Dawn party, but nowhere does the accused identify with the dead-and-destroyed "nazi" party, and has in fact eschewed all such media-forced association with "nazi" beliefs.

So why, in every media mention, the persistent conjunction of "neo-nazi" and democratically elected Golden Dawn?

Is it the jewish Big Lie in action?

Last Wednesday, I attended a Golden Dawn pre-election rally at the seaside promenade of Palaio Faliro in the southern suburbs of Athens. The area was dotted with joggers, cyclists, and more languid souls, sauntering about enjoying the view of the Saronic islands in the purplish blue of early dusk. Golden Dawn’s Nazi sympathizers were doing all they could do disrupt the peaceful atmosphere. Military-style songs blared in the background, skinheaded “ushers” directed supporters where to stand and the party’s spokesman taunted a small gathering of local leftist protesters as “dirtbags.”

“I will vote for Golden Dawn to resist those who want to destroy our country, through economic pressure and biological extinction,” one man told me, referring to the continued austerity regime and the mass influx of illegal immigrant into Greece in the past few years. He was an electrician, in his forties, and looked nothing like a wild-eyed nationalist. Asked whether he worried that Golden Dawn, which proposes to eject all immigrants from the country and to place landmines on the Greek border with Turkey to prevent new ones from coming in, is too extreme, he was adamant: “The stance of the movement”—this is how he referred to the party—“is normal.”

Another man, a retired police officer, who identified himself as a former supporter of New Democracy (the mainstream conservatives), said he would vote for Golden Dawn “because they speak of Greece, of cleansing the political system and of kicking out all the dirty foreigners.” He stopped supporting New Democracy, he said, because “I got tired of 30 years of lies and stealing at the expense of the people.” Did he not fear the prospect of Greece exiting the euro and the European Union if anti-European parties made a strong showing in the election? “No. It is New Democracy and PASOK [the socialists, who governed for most of the past 30 years] that purposefully present the danger of an exit from the EU to prevent people from voting for Golden Dawn. It is they that stand to lose if we get out of Europe.”

Greece sinks into the abyss, while neo-Nazis are celebrating

The neo-Nazi party won popular support in a way similar to how Hamas won popular support in Gaza and the Muslim Brotherhood is winning in Egypt: by filling a void that the government didn't.

By Sabby Mionis | May.07, 2012

Supporters of the extreme-right Golden Dawn party raise flares as they celebrate polls results in Thessaloniki, northern Greece May 6, 2012. Photo by Reuters

Greeks went to the polls Sunday guided by fear, anger and insecurity. The result is a monstrosity that will lead to more fear, more anger and more insecurity.

The results of the Greek elections surprised everyone. The two traditionally large parties, New Democracy and Pasok, who have shared power since 1974, following a seven year dictatorship, struggled to get a mere combined total of 34% of the vote. This is a staggering failure for two parties who used to share about 85% of the vote. Greeks punished both mainstream parties who governed Greece for 38 years and are largely responsible for its financial collapse.

This was not the only surprise. The leftist party SYRIZA, which opposes the austerity measures, and organized strikes and demonstrations over the past two years, won a close second place with 17% of the vote, up from 4% in the 2009 elections. Its leader, Alexis Tsipras, a young populist who has never held a job and barely speaks English, is in favor of Greece playing hardball with its lenders by threatening not to repay its loans. This would be a dangerous gamble for a country that can't pay salaries and pensions at the end of the month without the support of the same lenders Mr. Tsipras is threatening.

A far more worrying surprise was the incredibly strong performance of the neo-Nazi party, Chrysi Avgi (Golden Dawn). Although the polls have been showing Golden Dawn entering Parliament by crossing the required 3% threshold, the 7% it won in Sunday's election has shocked the country's political system and most of the Greek people, who do not subscribe to its neo-Nazi ideology.

Golden Dawn won popular support in a way similar to how Hamas won popular support in Gaza and the Muslim Brotherhood is winning popular support in Egypt: by filling a void that the government didn't. They have been offering "security services" to Greeks living in neighborhoods heavily populated by illegal immigrants, where crime has gotten out of control. With its group of thugs, Golden Dawn escorts the elderly to ATM machines and violently attacks immigrants, legal or illegal.

It is not certain that everyone who voted for Golden Dawn fully grasped its agenda. The Greek people are not neo-Nazis, and it would be unfair to characterize them as such. Golden Dawn’s leader, Nikos Mihaloliakos, gave a triumphant and Hitleresque speech Sunday which shocked Greeks – and the international media. He thanked his black shirt-wearing thugs and vowed to continue the struggle inside and "outside" the Parliament. "Those who betray this country – it's time for them to be afraid. We are coming," he said. Let's hope that "outside the Parliament" does not mean they will expand their violence against immigrants.

Apart from Pasok, the socialist party that paid the price for its gross mismanagement of the financial crisis, the big loser of yesterday's election is Andonis Samaras, the leader of the mainstream right-wing party New Democracy.

Samaras tried to tap the growing trend towards the extreme right, by recruiting extreme rightists into his party himself. Adonis Georgiadis, a populist anti-Semite and Makis Voridis, a former minister, joined Samaras' party a couple of months ago, after jumping ship from LAOS, a populist, nationalistic party founded by a politician known for his anti-Semitic views, George Karatzaferis.

This move probably cost LAOS its place in Parliament, but Voridis’ presence has transformed the once-mainstream New Democracy into an extreme right-wing party, alienating many of its traditional supporters.

Voridis has a long history of founding fascist groups with neo-Nazi leanings, but has used his extensive family connections, the support of parts of the media, his charisma in front of the camera and his debating skills to cleanse his past and hide his present.

Samaras gamble on co-opting the extreme right failed miserably, but it has been a windfall for the far-right: his two neo-Nazis have probably been re-elected, adding two MPs to the 21 or 22 fascist MPs of Golden Dawn.

It is highly unlikely that a stable government can be formed anytime soon. The only possible coalition would be one of New Democracy, Pasok and Democratic Left, which won around 6% of the vote.

The most likely outcome will be a re-election in a month's time, according to the Greek constitution. If the three small liberal parties that together won 6.5% of the vote - but didn't make the 3% threshold separately - join forces, there is a good chance that the next round of elections will lead to a viable coalition government. These small parties share similar ideas for a smaller state, austerity measures and rapid privatizations.

But for now, Greece seems to be lost in the abyss.

Sabby Mionis was born in Athens and moved to Israel in 2006. Founder of Capital Management Advisors and active in Greek business life, he is a former president of Keren Hayesod (the United Israel Appeal) in Athens and now serves as on the UIA Executive and is co-founder of the Israel Center for Better Childhood.
