Don Lemon ‘screamed’ at ‘CNN This Morning’ co-host, left crew ‘rattled’: sources

By Alexandra Steigrad
February 2, 2023

Tensions on the set of “CNN This Morning” have recently boiled over, with Don Lemon allegedly “screaming” at co-host Kaitlan Collins off-camera during an ugly December incident that has left the cast and crew rattled ever since, The Post has learned.

According to two sources with knowledge of the situation, 56-year-old Lemon approached 30-year-old Collins following the show’s Thursday, Dec. 8, broadcast — and unloaded on her in front of staffers as he accused her of “interrupting” him on air.

“Don screamed at Kaitlan, who was visibly upset and ran out of the studio,” one source with knowledge of the skirmish said.

News of the explosive incident made its way up to CNN CEO Chris Licht, who is said to have been appalled by Lemon’s behavior, according to a source. A second source said a producer talked to Lemon at the behest of Licht and told the anchor to take the next day off to “cool off.”

CNN correspondent reporting on San Francisco street crime falls victim to car break-in

By Katherine Donlevy
March 18, 2023

CNN correspondent Kyung Lah shared her experience of her car being robbed outside San Francisco's City Hall.

A CNN correspondent in San Francisco to report on the city’s “rampant street crime” had her rental car broken into Friday — even with hired security tasked with watching the vehicle.

“Got robbed. Again,” Kyung Lah tweeted after the break-in with a picture of the car’s shattered rear-view window.

“We had security to watch our rental car + crew car. Thieves did this in under 4 seconds. This is ridiculous,” she wrote.

Lah said she and producer Jason Kravarik were at San Francisco’s City Hall when the thieves struck, stealing two bags from the car.

The CNN crew made the nearly 400-mile trip from Los Angeles to cover “voter discontent because of rampant street crime.”

“San Francisco is a beautiful city. This is our 3rd day here and I’ve loved my time here. But if you do visit this city, know that even with hired security watching your car, it is not enough,” the reporter said.

The progressive city has been experiencing surging crime, open-air drug dealing and robberies over the last few years, which led to the recall of soft-on-crime District Attorney Chesa Boudin last June.

BREAKING: Disgraced former CNN producer sentenced to 19 years for child sex crimes

John Griffin, 45, confessed to coercing a woman online into bringing her nine-year-old daughter to Ludlow, Vermont for illicit sexual acts.

Katie Daviscourt Seattle WA
Jun 20, 2023

Former CNN producer John Griffin has been sentenced to 19 years in prison on Tuesday for committing child sex crimes in Vermont.

John Griffin, 45, confessed to coercing a woman online into bringing her nine-year-old daughter to Ludlow, Vermont for illicit sexual acts.

The US Attorney's Office for the District of Vermont charged Griffin with three counts of using a facility of interstate commerce to attempt to entice minors to engage in unlawful sexual activity in 2021, however, Griffin entered into a plea agreement in December and the government dropped two additional charges of enticing a minor after he confessed his crimes.

A criminal complaint filed in the state of Nevada against a mother accused of pimping her 9-year-old daughter out to CNN's John Griffin revealed that authorities arrested the mother in August 2020 and seized Griffin's devices the following month.

This means that law enforcement allegedly knew about Griffin's abuse for more than a year before his arrest.

Court records reveal that Griffin paid the mother to fly with the girl from Nevada to Boston, where the girl said Griffin assaulted her.

CNN mercilessly MOCKED after it posted guide for 'neopronouns' from 'ae to ze'

CNN also discusses "nounself" pronouns.

Sara Higdon
Aug 13, 2023

CNN drew criticism and mockery after it published a nearly 2,000-word essay on the use and history of neopronouns on Saturday, including how to address a person who refers to themselves as a "leaf."

In the article titled "A guide to neopronouns from ae to ze," an expert on neopronouns and their histories and professor of English and Linguistics at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign told the outlet that “People like to have a say in how they’re identified."

"Refusing to let people self-identify is a way of excluding them,” he added.

Playing to its audience, CNN thought it necessary to explain what a pronoun is and how they are used daily. The article's author explained how neopronouns are most often "used by nonbinary, transgender, and gender nonconforming people because they offer more freedom of identity." It even had a guide on how to use neo-pronouns in a sentence.

CNN posted the article on X and at the time of writing the post has over 1.4 million views only 511 likes, over 4,000 comments, and over 750 quote tweets, with the vast majority making fun of the outlet.

Vivek Ramaswamy tells CNN’s Van Jones ‘Just shut the f–k up’ at Turning Point USA AmericaFest

By David Propper
Published Dec. 18, 2023
Updated Dec. 18, 2023, 6:56 a.m. ET

Presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy suggested Sunday that CNN commentator Van Jones should “just shut the f–k up” in response to Jones labeling the brash Republican a “demagogue” earlier this month.

Ramaswamy, who is vying for the GOP nomination for president in 2024, offered the brash suggestion for the cable news personality after Jones said on-air he was “shaking” during the fourth GOP debate when Ramaswamy spoke because he felt like he was watching “the rise of an American demagogue.”

Jones also called the tech entrepreneur a “very, very despicable person” whose talking points during the debate were “one step away from Nazi propaganda,” the Hill reported.

Ramaswamy, during an on-stage appearance at Turning Point USA’s Americafest in Arizona on Sunday, didn’t mince words when replying to Jones’ characterization.

Nancy Pelosi spreads the Trump bloodbath hoax on CNN

"We just have to win this election because he's even predicting a bloodbath. What does that mean? He's going to exact a bloodbath?"

Hayden Cunningham
Mar 17, 2024

Former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi appeared on CNN’s “State of the Union” early Sunday morning, where she perpetuated the hoax that Donald Trump claimed he would “exact a bloodbath” if he loses the 2024 election. When Trump spoke about a "bloodbath" at a recent rally he was referring entirely to losses within the auto industry of both jobs and revenue under Biden administration policies.

Speaking with CNN’s Dana Bash, Pelosi promoted the new anti-Trump hoax by implying the former President is calling for violence if he is not reelected in November. She also accused Trump of “praising Hitler” and “praising Russia," two equally false things.

"We just have to win this election because he's even predicting a bloodbath. What does that mean? He's going to exact a bloodbath? There's something wrong here. How respectful I am of the American people and their goodness. But how much more do they have to see from him to understand that this isn't what our country is about,” Pelosi said.

The reference to the term “bloodbath” comes after Trump’s recent remarks at a Ohio rally on Saturday, where he warned of severe repercussions for the US auto industry and the country as a whole if he were not to win this year's election.

Speaking at the rally, Trump addressed concerns over car manufacturing plants being built in Mexico with those car makers intending to sell the cars into the US. He suggested that if he were to win another term, his administration would impose a 100% tariff on cars imported from these plants. He emphasized the importance of prioritizing American workers and preventing the outsourcing of jobs.
