Brussels police target Albanian drug traffickers

A series of raids targeting Albanian drug traffickers yielded a booty of 4 kilos of drugs for Brussels police last week. Three suspects have been arrested and are being questioned before being handed over to prosecutors.

A Brussels police spokesperson confirmed that a gang trafficking cocaine had been in their sights for quite a while. On 27 October an examining magistrate OKed searches in several hotels and premises on the Antwerpsesteenweg.

Two men were arrested at one hotel. 1.5 kilos of cocaine were retrieved from one hotel room. 86 packs of cocaine as well as a balance and wrappings were found in another.

Ecuador Prison Quietly Released Top Albanian Cocaine Kingpin

18 NOV 2022 BY ALESSANDRO FORD

News has emerged that Ecuadorean prison authorities quietly released one of Europe's most notorious cocaine traffickers last year, in a surprising move that risks empowering the country's Albanian crime groups.

Albanian national Dritan Rexhepi was last seen in January 2022 during his obligatory biweekly registration with prison authorities. He has since disappeared, though a change in his home address was authorized in February, according to outlet Infobae, citing judicial documents. The new address was not given, the report added.

In November 2021, Rexhepi was granted a "semi-open regime" by Ecuador's prison authorities, releasing him from the maximum security Litoral prison and allowing him to settle in a luxury neighborhood outside the port city of Guayaquil. In addition to biweekly registrations, he had to wear a tracking device, among other conditions. He was obliged to remain in the country until 2027.

EXCLUSIVE: Albanian gangsters mock Prison Service by posting TikTok videos showing them smoking, laughing and making gun gestures from INSIDE jail

By NICK PISA FOR MAILONLINE
PUBLISHED: 11:16 GMT, 16 December 2022 | UPDATED: 11:48 GMT, 16 December 2022

Albanian gangsters are sticking their fingers up at the Prison Service by posting videos from inside jail onto social media accounts.

One clip uploaded to TikTok showed convicted thug Edison Kaculi, 28, making a gun symbol with his hands as he and friends danced in a cell to pounding rap music.

Kaculi, who is thought to have entered the UK illegally three years ago, was sentenced in July for his part in what the judge described as an 'appalling attack' in a drugs dispute.
(...)

Comments in two of the clips identify Kaculi – with one saying: 'Be free soon Edison Kaculi'

In one of several videos posted by a user over the last few days, Kaculi can be seen smoking in a cell and a voice says: 'Gang s***, my boys! Come on, put put,' as they use their hands to make gun gestures

Other pictures show a group of four men sitting in a cell wearing jogging trousers and tracksuits as they make offensive gestures or guns with their hands.

Comments in two of the clips identify Kaculi – with one saying 'be free soon Edison Kaculi' while another ludicrously says: 'Looks like a really good get together' before asking for Kaculi's contact details.
(...)
According to the latest Home Office statistics there are more than 1,330 Albanians currently serving sentences in UK prisons, costing the UK taxpayer more than £57million a year.

Kaculi was jailed for his role in an attack that took place in Gravesend, Kent, in June 2020 which left a man with a number of serious injuries.

Maidstone Crown Court heard how he had been stabbed five times in the legs, had lost several teeth and was left covered in cuts and bruises after being ambushed by two separate gangs of men within minutes.

Kaculi, of no fixed address, was the first offender on the scene and pushed the victim from his bicycle before repeatedly punching and kicking him.

A source said: 'The fact that these guys are supposed to be in prison and under intense security but getting hold of phone to make videos makes a mockery of the justice system'

Mobile phones are the most smuggled item in UK jails and are brought in by visitors or corrupt officers with officials saying that 20,000 were seized in 2017 alone

Fears grow that Albania will be a ‘money laundering paradise’ for UK gangs due to laws enabling them to hide hundreds of millions of criminal cash in property empires

By TOM KELLY FOR THE DAILY MAIL
PUBLISHED: 01:02 GMT, 24 December 2022 | UPDATED: 01:02 GMT, 24 December 2022

Albania will become a ‘money laundering paradise’ for UK-based drug lords under laws which enable them to hide hundreds of millions of criminal cash in property empires.

The country’s government is introducing a ‘fiscal and criminal amnesty’, allowing anyone to declare assets of up two million euros without having to reveal the origin of the cash.

It comes as a Daily Mail investigation found drug barons operating in Britain have laundered vast sums in luxury villas, flats, farmland, gyms, bars and even a petrol station in Albania.

The National Crime Agency (NCA) – Britain’s FBI – has warned the amount of criminal cash leaving the UK has risen ‘exponentially’ over the past four or five years, driven by Albanian drug gangs sending money home.

More than 13,000 Albanians have reached Britain across the Channel since the start of the year – one in three of all small-boat arrivals.

An Albanian member of a cocaine gang that laundered £10 million cash recently had a villa, three apartments, two garages and 20 acres of land confiscated in his homeland. The dirty cash is believed to have fuelled an Albanian building boom, with the value of property construction permits in the capital Tirana rocketing from £112 million in the first quarter of 2021 to £206 million in the same period this year.

The organised crime gangs are suspected of deploying a range of methods to transport the criminal cash across borders, including using travel agencies as fronts for money trafficking, hiding tens of thousands of pounds in the back of TVs or stuffing notes in the wheels of lorries.

Families are used as money mules, including a married couple with a nine-month-old baby trying to smuggle £100,000 of cocaine cash through the Channel tunnel. The cash was found stashed under the dashboard of Albanian Vladimir Cahani’s Audi at the border in Folkestone.

Albanian Boat Migrants ‘Gaming the System’ Using Modern Slavery ‘Loophole’ – Report

KURT ZINDULKA 13 Jan 2023

Over half of boat migrants referred to the programme for victims of modern slavery — a potential “loophole” to avoid deportation — hail from Albania, a report from Migration Watch UK has claimed.

Freedom of Information Act (FOI/FOIA) requests lodged by the Migration Watch UK think tank have uncovered that 51.1 per cent of all boat migrants that were referred to the scheme for potential victims of modern slavery came from Albania in the first half of 2022, when illegal migration from the Muslim majority Balkan nation surged.

The number of Albanians recorded in the National Referral Mechanism was more than double that of 2021 — yet the anti-open borders think tank estimated that less than half of the small boat modern slavery (SBMS) referrals were judged worthy claims.

When 2022 figures are finally released, Migration Watch predicts that at least 2,300 people who illegally crossed the English Channel will have either claimed to have been a victim of modern slavery or were referred to the programme by another.

Migration Watch noted that this may be an underestimate given the large number of Albanians that illegally landed on British shores between May and September, however.

Albanian gangs launch TikTok advertising blitz offering stowaway lorry trips to the UK for £18,000-a-head as they boast of '100% success'

By TOM KELLY and DAVID BARRETT
PUBLISHED: 19:20 GMT, 20 January 2023 | UPDATED: 13:22 GMT, 23 January 2023

Albanian gangs have launched a TikTok advertising blitz offering stowaway trips to the UK.

Ahead of a supposed crackdown on small boat arrivals, the criminals are demanding up to £18,000 a head but boast of '100 per cent success'.

Unlike small boat arrivals, who are usually collected by lifeboats and passed to Border Force officials, lorry migrants disappear on arrival.

This means they avoid detention and a potential fast-track return to Albania.

A TikTok post from an account called 'journey with a lorry' said: 'Tomorrow morning journey from Belgium. 100 per cent success.'

An undercover Mail reporter who messaged the account was told it would cost £26,000 for two.

The smuggler added: 'You will start the journey from Belgium. We will send a taxi to get you to your destination. We have a journey next week.'

He confirmed the driver was part of the conspiracy and would hide them in the lorry.

Another post offered migrants the chance to sit in the cab posing as a co-driver.

It said: 'Anyone in Belgium or France write to me. 18K sterling to UK. Our last night journey went successfully.'

Hundreds of Children Seeking Asylum in U.K. Are Missing

The unaccompanied minors are mostly Albanian teenagers who had been living in hotels. Rights advocates and some lawmakers believe that they have been abducted by criminal gangs.

Reporting from London
Jan. 26, 2023

Around 200 unaccompanied minors — mostly Albanian teenagers — are missing from hotels they were housed in as they awaited decisions on asylum claims, leading to outrage among rights advocates calling for better protections and to demands from lawmakers to fix the issue.

The missing children are among the tens of thousands of people who have arrived in Britain on small boats after crossing the English Channel in recent years. Most of the young asylum seekers are housed in hotels as they await their fate by the Home Office, which says they are free to come and go as they please despite their ages.

Some officials, citing conversations with the local authorities, say they believe that many of the missing have been picked up by criminal gangs and exploited, raising major questions about government failures. The government did not immediately respond to a request for comment but has confirmed that at least 200 children seeking asylum have gone missing from hotels. Opposition lawmakers have called the entire program for housing minors into question.

An investigation published this week by The Observer newspaper about one hotel in the Sussex area of southern England revealed that of the approximately 600 unaccompanied children under the age of 18 who have passed through its doors in the past 18 months, 136 had been reported missing, and 79 remain unaccounted for. Last year, data revealed by the government showed that more than 222 unaccompanied children seeking asylum were missing from hotels across Britain run by the Home Office.

Two Albanians with 11 kg of heroin are arrested in Croatia

by Oculus News - January 12, 2023

Two Albanians have been arrested in Croatia after being caught with 11 kilograms of heroin.

Croatian media reports that they were arrested on January 10, while the heroin has a market value of around half a million euros.

The police dog Hunt helped his colleagues from the Gruda Border Police Station, Croatia, to discover 11.35 kg of heroin packed in 20 packages hidden in the modified space of the vehicle under the gear shifter and armrest on two Albanian citizens.

Albanian drug dealer uses human rights to fight deportation: Crook jailed for 'Deliveroo-style' cocaine service hides behind European law to avoid being kicked out of Britain

By FIONA PARKER FOR THE DAILY MAIL
PUBLISHED: 22:37 GMT, 9 February 2023 | UPDATED: 22:44 GMT, 9 February 2023

An Albanian drug dealer jailed for his part in a ‘Deliveroo-style’ cocaine service is using European law to fight deportation.

Eldjort Ajazi acted as a courier for the drug enterprise, which is thought to have made up to £450,000 before it was brought down by police.

Now 35, Ajazi arrived in the UK in 2006 and remained in the country illegally until his arrest in 2020. He pleaded guilty for conspiracy to supply cocaine and was handed a 45-month sentence in February 2021. But the former construction worker is now appealing against an order that would force him to return to Albania.

His case relies on the controversial ‘right to respect for family life’ – as set out in the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR). This includes the rights of parents to have contact with their children.

People-smuggling brothers who organised Albanian protest at Winston Churchill's statue and boasted of 'free tickets' to Britain made false asylum claims to enter the UK

By SAM MERRIMAN
PUBLISHED: 02:03 GMT, 12 February 2023 | UPDATED: 02:03 GMT, 12 February 2023

Two Albanian brothers who organised a protest in which their nation’s flag was draped over Winston Churchill’s statue lied to get into the UK, The Mail on Sunday can reveal.
(...)
The Home Office discovered they used false identities to claim they were fleeing the 1998 war in Kosovo, rather than coming from peaceful Albania.

In November, Taulant and Enkeleid Omi led a demonstration in Westminster in which 1,500 of their countrymen proclaimed they were not criminals

In a letter sent to Taulant last month, the Home Office’s fraud team said that revoking his citizenship had been considered, but rejected it as it ‘does not fall within our policy’.

It said: ‘The Secretary of State was considering depriving you of your British citizenship on the grounds that it had been obtained as a result of fraud.’
(...)
But in response, he mocked the Government, boasting on social media that he has received ‘free tickets’ to the UK and the Home Office has ‘done me a favour’.
(...)
He said: ‘The Home Office in that letter is telling me yes, you made an application with fake details. Whoever has done this did me a huge favour, saving me huge amounts of money to correct the details. In the end I am so happy about all of this. No sanctions at all for me.’

It is understood that the Home Office was ‘hamstrung’ and unable to remove the brothers’ citizenship on a technicality. Taulant’s first application for asylum was refused but he won an appeal in 2006 and later acquired British citizenship.

In May 2013, the brothers and another accomplice were caught by Border Force officers attempting to smuggle someone into the UK illegally.

They were found guilty at Canterbury Crown Court in September 2015 and were both given 12-month prison sentences, suspended for 18 months, and ordered to carry out 200 hours of community service.

I'm pretty sure that most of the crimes that Albanians commit in their host countries in continental Europe are never reported in English-language media outlets. That's often the case in Italy where I come across news stories about Albanian rapists and burglars in Italian-language newspapers that are never translated into English. But here's one crime that did make it onto an international news site:

Quote:
Three arrested for beating, robbing woman in Florence home

Two Albanian brothers, Romanian woman charged with crime

(ANSA) - ROME, FEB 8 - Three people were arrested Tuesday after a 'foreign' woman shopkeeper was attacked in her home, brutally beaten, and forced to hand over that day's proceeds of over 20,000 euros in Florence on January 9, police said Tuesday.

Those arrested are two Albanian brothers aged 25 and 40, and a 45-year-old Romanian woman charged with acting as look-out for the pair.

The victim was repeatedly punched and one of the brothers stabbed her in the hand, police said.

Surprisingly, the far-left, bisexual, Swiss-born, American jewess Elly Schlein has won the primaries of Italy's biggest leftist party, the Democratic Party (Partito democratico, PD), thereby becoming the main figure in the Italian political left:

Elly Schlein voted leader of Italy’s most important leftwing party in surprise win

Elly Schlein, 37, defied poll projections and beat Stefano Bonaccini in the leadership race for the Democratic party (PD) on Sunday.

“The Democratic party is alive and ready to stand up,” said Schlein. “We did it, together we made a small big revolution, even this time they didn’t see us coming.”

Schlein said the party, which has struggled to form a strong opposition to Italy’s rightwing parties, “will be a problem” for the government led by Giorgia Meloni the leader of Brothers of Italy, a party with neofascist roots.

Schlein, a former MEP, first came to prominence in early 2020 after her small party, Coraggiosa (Courageous), played a pivotal role in stopping the far right from seizing power in the traditionally leftwing Emilia-Romagna region.

Bonaccini won the presidency of the region, with Schlein appointed vice-president, a role from which she stepped down after being elected as a parliamentarian in Italy’s general elections in September.

Vocal on social justice issues, Schlein, an Italian-American national, has been compared in Italy to the New York congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

As I've said in my Italy thread, the pro-EU, pro-rapeugee, pro-LGBT Democratic Party has been controlled by jews since its inception, so its policies won't change, but since this thread is largely about the ties between Albania and international jewry, I would like to mention that Schlein is very pro-Albanian as she supports Albanian immigrants in Italy and wants Albania to join the Jewropean Jewnion as soon as possible. We can read about some of this stuff in the following Italian-language piece:

Albania and Europe for Elly Schlein

We come to Albania. How did your bond with the country come about?

It's a country that I haven't known forever, I learned to love it through the eyes of Roland Sejko, the director of "Anija - the ship", a film that I was lucky enough to see being born. It is a documentary that does not limit itself to telling which Albania the Albanians fled from but follows, in retrospect, their journey in Italy. What happened to those people twenty years later? Many are still in Italy, many in Albania: that film tells a piece of history of both countries, a piece of European history.

I landed in Albania for the first time in 2011: for filming we traveled between Durres, Tirana, Scutari and Vlora… I won't hide it: my great passion is cinema; I've always wanted to be a director, after my political experience I'm sure I'll take this path again - I'm among those who argue that you shouldn't be in politics for life. Collaborating with Roland's crew I developed many friendships in Albania: it was the best way to get to know a country, the best eyes with which to look at it.

From trainee director to Vice-President of the inter-parliamentary delegation for Albania… A few days ago your delegation was here on an official visit. How did it go?

Unfortunately, until I meet again with the delegation, it is incorrect for me to make statements about official meetings. I can tell you that I visited a country convincedly directed towards Europe: Albania's European vocation is perhaps the strongest in the whole region. At least on this there is a unanimous consensus within all the political forces, we hope this will favor progress on priorities.

Obviously, being a candidate country, Albania is included in a whole series of high-level meetings which should serve to accelerate those reforms indispensable for the country's access to the Union. To modernize the structure of the State, the Union has identified five main priorities: the reform of the public administration, the reform of the judiciary, the fight against organized crime and corruption and the respect and protection of human rights.

How often will you return to Albania? How is the welcome, the atmosphere around you?

Between parliaments we meet at least every six months: once in Albania and once in Brussels. As part of the delegation visits, we also meet members of the government who report to us on the reforms they are carrying out. But the work of the commission in itself is inter-parliamentary work: between members of the European Parliament and members of the Albanian parliament. These delegations are also formed in proportion to the composition of the national parliament. We come as friends who are unanimously convinced of Albania's accession process, we listen to the progress made on the five priorities and we try to help however we can.

The far-left jewess Elly Schlein tries to portray herself as a pacifist, and yet in the Italian parliament she voted in favor of sending weapons to the jewish mass-murderer Zelensky and his fellow jew thugs who run the corrupt gangster state of Ukraine. I can certainly see why Schlein would support Albania as it's basically a jewish NATO colony, just like Jewkraine.

Quote:
Il convinto pacifismo di Elly Schlein non è di certo in dubbio, ma la nuova segretaria seppur sempre sottolineando diversi distinguo, finora ha votato sempre in Parlamento in favore dell’invio di armi in Ucraina.

Elly Schlein's convinced pacifism is certainly not in doubt, but the new secretary, albeit always emphasizing various distinctions, has so far always voted in Parliament in favor of sending arms to Ukraine.
Quote:
Pundits point out that the conflict in Ukraine could be the trickiest issue for Schlein, whose distant ancestors hail from a village close to modern-day Lviv. There are question marks over whether she will carry forward her predecessor Enrico Letta’s all-out support for the delivery of lethal weapons to Ukraine.

A U-turn by Schlein on support for Ukraine would leave Meloni as the only national party leader in favor of sending arms to the besieged country, fueling concerns among Western allies who see Italy as a weak link.

“A change of line over Ukraine could be the trigger for many centrists to leave the PD,” Allegranti said.

But Civati played down rumors of an about-face, arguing that Schlein is unlikely to oppose the sending of arms to Ukraine.

“We support Ukraine’s right to defend itself, through every form of assistance,” said Schlein in a recent interview with broadcaster La7. “But as a pacifist, I don’t think that weapons alone will end the war.”

Albanian crack dealer deported as part of a zero-tolerance policy against migrants who threaten national security sneaks back into UK and lives next to a children's nursery

A deported Albanian crack dealer has been found living two doors from a children's nursery after sneaking back into Britain.

Armand Gjyriqi was one of 12 criminals kicked out in 2020 as part of Priti Patel's zero-tolerance policy against migrants who threaten Britain's national security.

His removal was hailed by the then Home Secretary as evidence of the Government's crackdown on foreign gangsters and thugs.

But The Mail on Sunday can reveal that Gjyriqi, 30, re-entered the country illegally last year on a small boat, claiming he was a victim of people-traffickers.

He was granted bail at a court last month after a Home Office lawyer failed to show up to oppose it.

Gjyriqi is one of nearly 1,000 serious criminals, including murderers, rapists and drug dealers, who have crossed the Channel illegally and are living in the community.

He has been fitted with an electronic tag and bailed to live with his cousin Besmir in Bolton. Their £175,000 terrace house is two doors from Happitots day nursery, which looks after 26 children under four.

It's obvious that the jews who run the UK want all these criminal immigrants there. They're deliberately destroying their host country.

LONDON — There are so many Jews at the top of Britain’s Conservative party, Prime Minister David Cameron once quipped, that it should be known as the Torah party rather than the Tory party.

Albania to build museum to citizens who saved Jews during Holocaust

BY DAVID I. KLEIN MARCH 3, 2023 12:02 PM

(JTA) — Albania’s prime minister announced plans to open a museum in Tirana dedicated to the stories of its citizens who saved Jews during the Holocaust.

The museum will also honor Jewish history and culture, Prime Minister Edi Rama announced while on a state visit to Jerusalem on Wednesday.

The Besa Museum will be named after the strict neighborly honor code that Albanians say motivated them to protect their Jewish neighbors during World War II. Though Albania was occupied by both fascist Italy and later Nazi Germany, its Jewish population grew throughout the war, more than tripling as refugees flocked there from around Europe. Albania’s embassy in Berlin issued false identity papers to Jews, and many locals hid them in their houses. Yad Vashem, Israel’s Holocaust remembrance authority, has recognized at least 75 individuals as Righteous Among the Nations for saving Jews.

“The rescue of the Jews during World War II is one of the most beautiful pages in the history of the Albanians. Christians and Muslims sacrificed everything to protect them,” said Elva Margariti, Albania’s minister of culture. “For Albanians this is BESA; it is a value that we will pass on to our children, telling them this extraordinary story. The Besa Museum will be a bridge of communication between generations; a dialogue space for sharing the best values of our peoples.”
