(JTA) — Bruce Reinhart, the federal judge in Florida who signed the warrant allowing the FBI to raid former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago property on Tuesday, has been hit with a wave of antisemitic threats online.

The outburst has appeared on right-wing social media platforms and message boards, where users have published the judge’s name, address and personal information. Threats have been directed at his children and supposed family members as well.

Reinhart, who appears to be a member of the board of Temple Beth David in Palm Beach Gardens, has been a magistrate judge for the Southern District of Florida since 2018.

FBI search warrant shows Trump under investigation for potential obstruction of justice, Espionage Act violations

A search warrant viewed by POLITICO reveals that the FBI is investigating Donald Trump for potential violations of the Espionage Act and obstruction of justice laws.

A search warrant newly unsealed on Friday reveals that the FBI is investigating Donald Trump for a potential violation of the Espionage Act and that agents removed classified documents from the former president’s Florida estate earlier this week.

A receipt accompanying the search warrant, viewed by POLITICO in advance of its unsealing, shows that Trump possessed documents including a handwritten note; documents marked with “TS/SCI,” which indicates one of the highest levels of government classification; and another item labeled “Info re: President of France.”

Also among the items taken from Mar-a-Lago this week: An item labeled “Executive grant of clemency re: Roger Jason Stone, Jr.,” a reference to one of Trump’s closest confidants who received a pardon in late 2020.

The warrant shows federal law enforcement was investigating Trump for removal or destruction of records, obstruction of justice and violating the Espionage Act — which can encompass crimes beyond spying, such as the refusal to return national security documents upon request. Conviction under the statutes can result in imprisonment or fines.

Political fallout mounts over FBI’s raid on Trump’s Mar-a-Lago

By Mary Kay Linge
August 13, 2022

The political battle lines hardened Saturday over the FBI’s raid on Mar-a-Lago, President Trump’s Florida resort home.

A top Senate Republican has demanded the public release of the evidence that convinced a judge to let the agency take the unprecedented step of barging into an ex-president’s home.

Meanwhile, Democrats decried the GOP’s anti-FBI rhetoric — which, they said, was putting agents in danger.

“There is political bias within the FBI, and I think it’s legitimate to raise the question about …. the way President Trump has been treated,” Iowa Sen. Chuck Grassley, ranking member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, told Fox News.

Grassley echoed the call of House Republicans who said Friday the Department of Justice should hand over not only the FBI’s search warrant, but also the supporting affidavit, a document detailing the basis for investigators’ suspicions that the 45th president was criminally holding on to papers from his single term in office.

Like I said, the FBI raid was disgraceful, but it's difficult to have any sympathy for Trump after he spent his entire presidency sucking up to jews and negroes while treating his white supporters (i.e. the people who got him elected) like garbage.

DONALD TRUMP Published August 15, 2022 9:40am EDT

Trump 'will do whatever' he can to 'help the country' after FBI raid: 'Temperature has to be brought down'

Trump said his representatives reached out to DOJ to offer help amid outrage over FBI search of Mar-a-Lago

By Brooke Singman | Fox News

EXCLUSIVE: Former President Trump said he "will do whatever" he can "to help the country" after the FBI’s raid of his Mar-a-Lago home last week, telling Fox News Digital that the "temperature has to be brought down" while stressing that the American people are "not going to stand for another scam."

In an exclusive interview with Fox News Digital on Monday morning, his first since the raid, Trump said he had his representatives reach out to the Justice Department to offer to help amid outrage over the FBI’s unprecedented raid on his private residence last week, in which agents seized classified records, including some marked as top secret. Trump is disputing the classification of those records, saying the records have been declassified.

"The country is in a very dangerous position. There is tremendous anger, like I've never seen before, over all of the scams, and this new one — years of scams and witch hunts, and now this," Trump said.

Merrick Garland looks set to indict Trump — despite his glaring conflict of interest

By Rich Lowry
August 15, 2022

Does Attorney General Merrick Garland know that he is investigating the man most likely to be the opponent of the president he serves? Does he realize that the intense political pressure campaign he’s under to indict that man has been plainly visible to everyone? Does he care?

If we can’t know where Garland is ultimately heading in his probe of Jan. 6 and the documents seized from Mar-a-Lago, all indications are that he is preparing the ground for an indictment of Donald J. Trump.

The former president is inflammatory and mendacious as a matter of course, but in this case, it is the mild-mannered former judge who came a hair’s breadth from a lifetime appointment to the Supreme Court who is rehearsing for the role of arsonist.

An indictment of Trump would be one of the most consequential acts by the Justice Department in decades, and Garland has a flagrant conflict of interest and will likely have to use an adventurous legal theory to try to nail Trump — at the same time the legitimacy of his institution in increasingly in doubt.

This is not a promising formula. An attorney general shouldn’t consider the prospect of reaping the whirlwind and think, “Bring it on.”

Trump calls for immediate release of affidavit justifying FBI search of Mar-a-Lago

Former President Trump called for the immediate release of the "completely unredacted" Mar-a-Lago affidavit in a late night post on Truth Social.

Trump said the move would be in the interest of "TRANSPARENCY."

"There is no way to justify the unannounced RAID of Mar-a-Lago, the home of the 45th President of the United States (who got more votes, by far, than any sitting President in the history of our Country!), by a very large number of gun toting FBI Agents, and the Department of 'Justice,'" Trump wrote on Truth Social. "But, in the interest of TRANSPARENCY, I call for the immediate release of the completely Unredacted Affidavit pertaining to this horrible and shocking BREAK-IN."

Trump also called for the judge on the case to be recused from the case.

Trump's post comes after the Justice Department filed a motion opposing the release of the affidavit that was used to justify the search of Mar-a-Lago.

DOJ opposes release of Trump raid affidavit, willing to unseal other docs

By Steven Nelson
August 15, 2022

The Justice Department said Monday it opposes the release of an FBI affidavit used to justify the search of former President Donald Trump’s Florida residence last week, but added that it’s willing to release less descriptive documents.

“If disclosed, the affidavit would serve as a roadmap to the government’s ongoing investigation, providing specific details about its direction and likely course, in a manner that is highly likely to compromise future investigative steps,” federal prosecutors wrote in a court filing.

The DOJ said in a footnote that the release of even a redacted version of the affidavit “would not serve any public interest” due to the number of details that would have to be omitted.

The latest filing, signed by South Florida US attorney Juan Antonio Gonzalez and Justice Department counterintelligence chief Jay Bratt, mentioned a specific concern about outing cooperating witnesses and noted that some records cannot be released due to required grand jury secrecy.

Mary Trump speculates that Jared Kushner could be the 'Mar-a-Lago mole' after reports say an informant close to Trump guided FBI agents to the documents

Mary Trump speculates that Jared Kushner could be the 'Mar-a-Lago mole' after reports say an informant close to Trump guided FBI agents to the documents

Kelsey Vlamis
Sun, August 14, 2022 at 7:00 AM

Mary Trump said she thinks the person who may have given the FBI information about documents held at Mar-a-Lago by her uncle, former President Donald Trump, could be Jared Kushner.

She made the comments during a radio interview on Friday with The Dean Obeidallah Show. The host asked her who she thinks could be the "Mar-a-Lago mole" after reports said the FBI was tipped off by an informant close to the former president.

"We need to start with who would have access to this stuff. I don't think Mark Meadows would have access to it," Mary Trump began, dismissing the former chief of staff.

"I think we need to look very hard at why Jared got $2 billion," she said, referring to an investment into Kushner's private equity firm by a fund led by Mohammed bin Salman, the crown prince of Saudi Arabia. "We need to look very hard at why he has been so quiet for so many months now."

Republican Booed for Rejecting Push to Shut Down FBI After Trump Raid

BY MEGHAN ROOS ON 8/15/22 AT 3:20 PM EDT

Kevin Smith, a Republican running for the U.S. Senate in New Hampshire, was booed on Sunday while answering questions about whether he supports a proposal to dismantle the FBI or label the bureau a terrorist organization.

The incident occurred during a political debate presented Sunday afternoon by the Government Integrity Project, according to the NH Journal news site.

Smith, a former member of New Hampshire's House of Representatives, was one of three Republicans who participated in the debate. Smith, Don Bolduc and Bruce Fenton, the three debate participants, are among the 11 candidates running in New Hampshire's Republican primary election on September 13. They are campaigning to replace Senator Maggie Hassan, a Democrat running for her second term in office.

Nearly two hours into the debate, investigative reporter and debate moderator Heather Mullins referenced a recent article published by The Epoch Times in which writer Victor Davis Hanson proposed dismantling the FBI and having other U.S. investigative agencies absorb its role. The article was published days after FBI agents searched the Mar-a-Lago residence of former President Donald Trump, who has referred to the raid as a "witch hunt" and a "sneak attack on democracy."

How Garland may have hurt the DOJ's fight to keep Trump raid affidavit sealed

Former President Trump has stated publicly on Truth Social he wants to have all documents unsealed for the American people

By Fox News Staff | Fox News

Fox News contributor Andy McCarthy broke down how Attorney General Merrick Garland may have hurt the Justice Department's argument to keep the affidavit on the FBI's raid on former President Trump's Mar-a-Lago residence sealed Thursday on "The Story."

ANDY MCCARTHY: Yeah. I think, Gillian, that, you know, he gets it kind of coming and going because, you know, if you don't speak, and you just follow the Justice Department's normal protocols, then everybody assumes that you just reject everything that President Trump is saying publicly.

But you're not saying that because you're the Justice Department, so you don't speak. And what Garland did was he gave a very brief speech. So, he broke from the usual rule of not speaking publicly about ongoing investigations.

I did read that Lara is not jewish. But I can't confirm that of course.
At first, jewish media outlets claimed that Eric Trump's wife was jewish, but they later walked back their comments. I'll just repost the following article, if that's okay:

Quote:
Is Eric Trump’s wife Lara Jewish?

Josefin Dolsten, JTA
September 12, 2017

Is Lara Trump, the pregnant wife of Eric Trump, Jewish?

The answer, it turns out, is no.

Though media outlets (including JTA) widely reported that she is Jewish, she is in fact not a Jew, a White House Press Office representative confirmed to JTA on Tuesday. The representative declined to give her name.
(...)
Ethnicelebs.com, a website that traces the ancestry of celebrities, debunked the claim in July — reporting Lara instead to be of Slovak, English, German, remote Swiss-German and Dutch heritage — but that didn’t put the rumor to rest.
(...)
Lara and Eric’s baby will still be surrounded by plenty of Jewish influences. He will have three Jewish cousins: the children of Trump’s daughter Ivanka, a convert to Orthodox Judaism, and her husband, Jared. Plus, another Trump daughter, Tiffany, is dating Ross Mechanic, who is Jewish.

Will Cain on Trump raid: The DOJ wants the affidavit buried

The DOJ is communicating through calculated leaks, Cain says

Fox News Staff By Fox News Staff | Fox News

Fox News co-host Will Cain said Americans deserve to know why the FBI raided former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home on "Jesse Watters Primetime."

WILL CAIN: We deserve to know why the FBI raided the home of Biden's most likely political opponent. Trump wants us to see the affidavit, no redactions, but the DOJ wants it buried. They don't want us to know why the judge signed off on the raid and what exactly they were looking for when they went through Mar-a-Lago, but the DOJ says unsealing it could harm "other high-profile investigations."

Oh. In other words, they don't want you to know they were actually looking for dirt on January 6, not the nuclear codes. The DOJ also said the situation is too volatile right now to give out any more information. It could put people in danger. Hey, if the country seems volatile, it's because Americans know they're being lied to, bald-faced lied to, by their government.

CNN’s Gangel: 18 Trump Officials Dismiss Declassification Standing Order Claim, ‘Bullsh-t,’ ‘Ridiculous’

PAM KEY 18 Aug 2022

CNN reporter Jamie Gangel said Thursday on “The Lead” that 18 former Trump administration officials disputed the former president’s claim he had a standing order that allowed him to declassify documents.

Gangel said, “It wasn’t just a couple of people. We reached out to 18 former very senior Trump officials. White House, intelligence community, NSA, Justice Department, even his former chiefs of staff. Many of these people either would have been involved in the process or would have been aware of the process. And each and every one, all 18, dismiss the notion that there was any standing order for a sweeping declassification. Some of them even laughed at it, and this doesn’t happen often. They even went on the record.”
