The New World Order in movies , entertainment , literature . . .
. . .
What examples can you think of ? ------------ . . in movies. . . . .the undisputed No .1 ( based on the novel by Orwell) - a totalitarian society where everyone is "watched over" , one party is in power, there is a "thought-police" ,mind-control , political manipulation , etc . . So . . Orwell's "1984" . . . - - - - - - "The Running Man" . . 1987 movie based on a novel by Stephen King ( written under the pseudo 'Richard Bachman' . . .) . . . - set in a totalitarian United States after world economy has collapsed where supposed 'delinquents' (i. e. enemies of the state ) are slaughtered in a sadistic game-show on T.V. . . - - - - These are merely two examples . . . The New World Order is often 'suspected'/seen around the corner , some authors took it upon themselves to describe their dystopic visions , always . . What can you think of ? |
