Paedophile Rochdale grooming gang member, 51, who got a 13-year-old girl pregnant argues he shouldn't be deported to Pakistan because his son needs a role model
Adil Khan and Qari Abdul Rauf have been told they will be deported to Pakistan Since release from jail in 2016 they have fought a legal battle to remain in the UK Father-of-five Khan says he must be a 'father figure' to teach 'right from wrong' By LIZZIE MAY FOR MAILONLINE PUBLISHED: 18:43, 22 June 2022 | UPDATED: 18:43, 22 June 2022 A member of the notorious Rochdale grooming gang has told a judge that he should not be deported back to Pakistan because his son needs a role model. Adil Khan, 51, and Qari Abdul Rauf, 52, have been told they will be sent back to Pakistan for the good of the British public, after both were part of a gang convicted of a catalogue of serious sex offences in May 2012. For two years from early 2008, girls as young as 12 were plied with alcohol and drugs and gang-raped in rooms above takeaway shops and ferried to different flats in taxis where cash was paid to use the girls. Since release from jail on licence in 2016, they have fought a long legal battle against deportation - mounting multiple legal challenges and appeals - spanning several years on the grounds that deportation would interfere with their human rights. But now both Khan and Rauf will finally hear if they can remain in the UK after a date for their deportation case was set for later this year. Khan appeared at a final deportation hearing on Wednesday to argue he should not be deported, where Judge Charlotte Welsh asked him how his son might be affected if he was deported from the UK. Khan, speaking through a Miripuri interpreter, replied: 'As you know, the father figure is very important in every culture in the world, to be a role model for the child, to tell him or her right from wrong.' https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...-Pakistan.html |

Police let down Rotherham abuse scandal victims time and time again: Action wasn't taken due to racial tensions, girl was told ordeal would 'teach her a lesson', and no officers were sacked despite 265 complaints, report shows
No officers have been sacked over failures in the Rotherham abuse scandal The IOPC spent eight years and £6 million on 93 investigations covering 265 allegations by 51 complainants Among the worst examples of police behaviour was an officer telling the father of a 15-year-old rape victim that her ordeal would teach her a lesson By CHRIS BROOKE FOR DAILY MAIL PUBLISHED: 22:47, 22 June 2022 | UPDATED: 22:50, 22 June 2022 Failed leadership, officers lacking any ‘professional curiosity’, a culture in which underage victims were seen as responsible, IT systems ‘not fit for purpose’ and a widespread failure to record and investigate serious crimes meant the horrific sexual exploitation of children continued for years unchallenged. Among the worst examples of police behaviour was an officer telling the father of a 15-year-old rape victim that her ordeal would teach her a lesson. Another girl was handed over to police in a child abduction case as part of a ‘deal’ not to arrest the alleged abductor. Officers also found her and an abuser ‘half-naked’ in a bedroom with the girl hiding under the bed, but failed to investigate him. One sexual abuse victim’s father said an officer told him nothing could be done due to racial tensions. Details of the ‘significant failings’ by South Yorkshire Police were revealed yesterday in a report by the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) into police actions between 1997 and 2013 concerning the sexual exploitation of girls, mainly by Asian grooming gangs in Rotherham. Operation Linden was the second-largest inquiry ever carried out by the police watchdog. It found a mountain of evidence detailing negligent, incompetent and unprofessional police work in handling sexual abuse of children, but officers either retired to escape punishment or were allowed to carry on in their jobs. The IOPC spent eight years and £6 million on 93 investigations covering 265 allegations by 51 complainants. They investigated 47 officers and upheld 43 complaints. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...ort-shows.html |

Paedophile Rochdale grooming gang member, 51, who is battling decision to send him back to Pakistan suggests his prosecution was racist during 'long rant' at deportation hearing
Adil Khan, 51, described his conviction to a tribunal as 'allegations' against him Khan, part of a Rochdale gang convicted in 2012, said it was a 'laughing matter' Since his release from jail, he has fought a long legal battle against deportation The gang raped girls as young as 12, while Khan himself impregnated a teenager By STEWART CARR FOR MAILONLINE PUBLISHED: 16:51, 23 June 2022 | UPDATED: 17:48, 23 June 2022 A member of the Rochdale grooming gang who is battling deportation to Pakistan went on a 'long rant' at his hearing today as he denied his crimes and suggested his prosecution was racist. Adil Khan, 51, appeared before an immigration tribunal today during which he referred to the 'allegations' made against him and described it as a 'laughing matter.' Khan, speaking through a Miripuri translator, said: 'I'm today denying it, and I was denying it at the time as well and in the future, never will such a thing happen.' The translator later described Khan as 'going on a long rant'. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...-Pakistan.html |

"CHRIS C" - Can I ask, seeing as you seem to be the main poster on this thread - how do you feel about Tommy Robinson's efforts in exposing these Asian grooming gangs? Would you rather have him around, or not??

Ringleader of notorious Rochdale grooming gang WON'T be kicked out of UK after winning his fight against deportation
A ringleader of the notorious Rochdale grooming gang known as 'The Master' by his fellow abusers has won his battle against deportation to his native Pakistan The taxi driver, 51, was convicted of trafficking and conspiracy to engage in sexual activity with a child and jailed for nine years in 2012 Whistleblower Maggie Oliver, who resigned as a detective over failings in how police handled grooming cases in Rochdale, said victims would be horrified By JAMES TOZER FOR THE DAILY MAIL PUBLISHED: 00:18, 28 June 2022 | UPDATED: 01:55, 28 June 2022 Grooming gang ring leader Abdul Aziz, known as 'The Master' by his fellow abusers, has won his battle against deportation to his native Pakistan A ringleader of the notorious Rochdale grooming gang has won his battle against deportation back to his native Pakistan, it was revealed yesterday. Abdul Aziz, known as 'The Master' by his fellow abusers, was stripped of his UK citizenship in 2018 after using human rights laws in a bid to avoid being thrown out of the country. But while fellow gang members Adil Khan, 52, and Qari Abdul Rauf, 53, are still fighting efforts to send them back to Pakistan, the status of Aziz has been shrouded in secrecy. The 51-year-old taxi driver, who ferried victims to sex parties as far away as Leeds and Bradford, was convicted of trafficking and conspiracy to engage in sexual activity with a child and jailed for nine years in 2012. But yesterday, to the outrage of campaigners, it was revealed that in reality, Aziz won his fight to stay in the UK almost four years ago. The truth was revealed when a barrister representing Rauf in his battle against deportation read out a document which she said then Home Secretary Sajid Javid wrote to Aziz on Hallowe'en 2018. It revealed that Aziz renounced his Pakistani citizenship on July 13, 2018 - five days before a hearing before the Court of Appeal where he, Rauf and Khan lost their battle against being stripped of British nationality. As a result, the Home Secretary 'has decided not to make a deprivation order in respect of you', the letter went on - meaning Aziz retained his British citizenship. The Home Office last night failed to deny that Aziz was therefore no longer facing deportation. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...portation.html |
