Kanye West proclaims ‘love’ for Hitler, Twitter slaps rapper with suspension for inciting violence

The move came after West had tweeted an image of a swastika within the Star of David and told Alex Jones that he “loves Hitler”

December 02, 2022
editor: REMIX NEWS author: THOMAS BROOKE

Ye, the artist formerly known as Kanye West, has been suspended from Twitter for 12 hours for inciting violence, the platform’s new billionaire owner Elon Musk confirmed on Friday.

The controversial U.S. rapper, who only had his account reinstated recently after a suspension for posting antisemitic messages in October, posted a series of erratic tweets on Thursday, including an image of a swastika inside the Star of David.

His final tweet on the platform was a photograph of U.S. media mogul Ari Emanuel, who is also Jewish, spraying water at the back of Musk’s head with a hose on what appears to be a private yacht.

Kanye West, dressed in a black face mask, tells right-wing commentator Alex Jones that he “loves Hitler”
“Let’s always remember this as my final tweet #ye24,” West posted prior to his suspension.

The suspension follows an interview released on Thursday with U.S. conservative commentator Alex Jones in which West proclaimed to “love Hitler,” denied the Holocaust, and called on people to “stop dissing the Nazis all the time.”

“You’re not Hitler, you’re not a Nazi, you don’t deserve to be called that and demonized,” said Jones to West.

West responded by saying, “Well, I see good things about Hitler also. I love everyone. Jewish people are not going to tell me, ‘You can love us, and you can love what we’re doing to you with the contracts, and you can love what we’re pushing with the pornography,’ but this guy that invented highways, that invented the very microphone that I use as a musician, you can’t say out loud that this person ever did anything good, and I’m done with that. I’m done with the classifications. Every human being has something special that they’ve brought to the table, especially Hitler.”
(...)
“The Holocaust is not what happened, and Hitler has a lot of redeeming qualities,” West claimed, who was sporting a full-on black face mask.
(...)
West’s public demise in recent months has seen global sports brand Adidas cut ties with the rapper, and his access to social media platform Instagram has also been revoked. Jewish groups such as the Anti-Defamation League called for West to be canceled, and was active in having the rapper dropped from a wide variety of brands and labels. West has claimed this is proof.of Jewish power in the United States, while others have indicated that these brands are only trying to protect their image.

West also received a text from his personal trainer, Harley Pasternik, who happens to be Jewish, threatening to have West institutionalized. West claims that Pasternik had him institutionalized the first time he was admitted to the hospital and diagnosed with bipolar disorder, which West claims was diagnosed by a “Jewish doctor.”

“Second option, I have you institutionalized again where they medicate the crap out of you, and you go back to Zombieland forever. Play date with the kids just won’t be the same,” wrote Paternik continued.

Fox News host Tucker Carlson ran a segment on the incident, saying, “The fact that no one’s investigating tells you a lot.”

In this case, "personal trainer" seems to be a euphemism for MKULTRA handler.

‘Silence is complicity’: Biden calls on political leaders to denounce antisemitism, not platform it

BY RON KAMPEAS DECEMBER 2, 2022 4:03 PM

WASHINGTON (JTA) — President Joe Biden, reacting after the latest station in Kanye West’s dolorous journey, explained that Hitler was bad and the Holocaust was real and chided politicians like his predecessor Donald Trump who give the rapper’s antisemitism oxygen.

“I just want to make a few things clear: The Holocaust happened. Hitler was a demonic figure,” Biden said Friday on Twitter. “And instead of giving it a platform, our political leaders should be calling out and rejecting antisemitism wherever it hides. Silence is complicity.”

Biden’s statement did not call out anyone by name. But the most immediate reference Biden was making was to a three-hour appearance this week by West, also known as Ye, on Infowars, the streaming show hosted by conspiracy theorist Alex Jones, in which he repeatedly praised Adolf Hitler, said he loved Nazis and denied that the Holocaust happened as it did.

NYC Mayor Eric Adams, in interview, seeks ‘pipeline’ to mend Black-Jewish relations

By Jacob Henry December 1, 2022 4:52 pm

(New York Jewish Week) — After attending a mayors’ gathering in Athens Wednesday to discuss solutions to antisemitism, New York City Mayor Eric Adams said he wants to build “a pipeline” of young people from all walks of life to fight back against hate.

“When you see these interactions that are negative, it’s involving young people,” Adams told the New York Jewish Week in a brief phone interview from Greece. “We have to go and build up that pipeline. We have not done that, and that is where I think we made a mistake.”

Adam’s reply came in response to a question about the controversy surrounding Brooklyn Nets star Kyrie Irving, who was suspended after tweeting an endorsement of a film that features Holocaust denial and other antisemitic tropes. Adams appeared to agree that the incident threatened to further cool an already lukewarm relationship between Blacks and Jews.
(...)
The two-day summit, which began Wednesday, is a gathering of more than 50 mayors and municipal leaders from across the globe. It was created in partnership with the Combat Antisemitism Movement, a global coalition of 65 Jewish and interfaith organizations; the Center for Jewish Impact, an Israeli relationship-building organization, and the Jewish Federations of North America.

On Thursday, Adams was scheduled to visit the Beth Shalom Synagogue in Athens, lay a wreath at a Holocaust memorial and meet with the city’s Chief Rabbi, Gabriel Negrin.

During the first day of the conference, Adams was presented with the organizers’ Civic Leadership Award for “his dedicated commitment to fighting antisemitism and religious bigotry of all forms,” according to a press release.

Kanye West references latest anti-Semitic remarks in newly released song

By Patrick Reilly
December 7, 2022

The rapper formerly known as Kanye West released a new song Wednesday night in which he references his latest anti-Semitic remarks.

The disgraced hip-hop star, who now goes as Ye, released the new track Wednesday night amid a seemingly ceaseless string of controversies, including his bizarre appearance on conspiracy theorist Alex Jones’ show in which he praised Adolf Hitler and Nazis.

At the end of the song, called “Someday We’ll All Be Free,” a clip of his interview with Jones plays, in which the conspiracy theorist tries to give Kanye a chance to pull back on his pro-Nazi statements.
(...)

(...)
Earlier Wednesday, The Post reported that President of the World Jewish Congress Ronald Lauder requested Apple Music and Spotify pull West’s music from their streaming services, accusing them of profiting off Jewish hate.
(...)
West, who is favored to claim the shameful title of “Anti-Semite of the Year” by StopAntisiemtism.org, has reportedly lost hundreds of millions of dollars after companies like Adidas, Gap and Balenciaga all severed their ties with him.

The despicable shekelgoblin Jonathan Greenblatt, who is the head of the jewish supremacist organization known as the ADL, made an appearance on Charlamagne Tha God's radio show The Breakfast Club where he attacked Kanye West and defended Leo Frank, a jewish pedophile who raped and murdered a 13-year-old girl:

This is what most of the comments for the above video look like:

We need to stand with Ye on this hill. We need more celebrities and notable figures to have the courage to speak out against these rats. Greenblatt and his kin may have control of every major media organization but they are not invulnerable. They can be beaten.

Glad to see that you are justifying all the suspicions for the world to see, Mr. Greenblatt. Funny you say this certain group doesn't do the things WE SEE THEM DOING. you'd have to be blind at this point!
Quote:

The lynching he’s referring too he very conveniently left out that they falsely accused a black janitor of the murder instead of the Jewish owner that was charged. So the ADL was founded on a case where they tried to send an innocent man to a lynching instead

What's sad is that this interview mostly confirms peoples worst fears about the ADL, rather than settle them. Greenblatt isn't very good at damage control, instead he calls for Jews and Blacks to unite against their "common enemy". Gosh, what race could he be talking about????
Quote:

I'm tired of my fellow brothas and sistas having these people directing our every move. Even when we make it, we've got a Greenblatt with one hand around our neck and the other in our pocket.

For a person who doesn't control the media, he sure knows a lot about it and is confident he can take on the biggest media companies.
He is also upset with Dave's thoughts? And tone? The FBI calls his company yet they have no power? WTF is going on?

Jewish groups urge influencers and tech platforms to stop hosting Ye interviews

Jewish and anti-hate organizations are urging social media influencers and tech platforms to stop hosting interviews with Ye, the rapper and artist formerly known as Kanye West, as he’s continued to make antisemitic statements and criticize Jewish people in his recent public appearances.

Representatives for five Jewish and anti-hate groups including the Anti-Defamation League, the Southern Poverty Law Center, the American Jewish Committee, StopAntisemitism and the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance called on influencers and tech platforms to take responsibility for their part in allowing Ye’s antisemitic statements to spread online.

“Anybody who gives him a platform, you’re basically complicit at this point,” said Liora Rez, executive director of StopAntisemitism. “The only goal of his is to spew hatred and further vilify Jews.”

Ari Emanuel: The Kanye West show must not distract us from the corrosive virus taking root

By Ari Emanuel
Chicago Tribune • Dec 09, 2022 at 5:00 am

Kanye West is not the big problem. Of course, praising Hitler is vile. And it’s easy to condemn – and get distracted. And what the cartoonish Kanye clown show distracts us from is what’s going on under the big top — how the virus of antisemitism and hate and division is spreading and attacking the foundations of our culture.

In the last year, we’ve seen how antisemitic conspiracies from the far right about Jewish control of politics, finance and Hollywood have become mainstreamed. Dave Chappelle’s “Saturday Night Live” monologue was funny, but the problem with dancing on the line of antisemitic tropes is that he was doing it for an audience that no longer has a shared understanding of how dangerous they are. No doubt many thought it was funny. No doubt that it gave others permission to repeat their own versions of the tropes going forward. Every time someone like Kanye goes too far, the antisemitic Overton window gets shifted. And bit by bit, the line of what’s acceptable to say moves.

It was not until Kanye praised Hitler that the official Twitter account from the Republican House Judiciary Committee took down the tweet reading, simply: “Kanye. Elon. Trump.” The tweet had been up since Oct. 6. As writer Peter Beinart put it on Lawrence O’Donnell’s MSNBC show “The Last Word,” “antisemitism is not disqualifying. Only genocidal antisemitism — that’s where the bar is for today.”

For today. It’s up to all of us to stop regarding silence as an acceptable option — not just for cartoonish praising of Hitler, but for more insidious, wink-wink, dog-whistle forms of hate directed at any group. At his postgame news conference on Nov. 30, LeBron James spoke out about the double-standard on being asked to speak out. He asked reporters why he’d been repeatedly pressed about the controversy over Kyrie Irving (about which, in fact, LeBron did speak out), but hadn’t been asked a single question about the 1957 photo, published last month in The Washington Post, showing Jerry Jones in a group of teens confronting Black students at a high school in Little Rock, Arkansas.

James is absolutely right. We should all speak out — about the hateful racism that’s unfolding in the photo, about Kyrie, about West, about Trump, and about the normalization of white supremacy, antisemitism and racism.

Vanderbilt University Coach’s Pro Kanye West Post Violated School Polices, Chancellor Says

by Dion J. Pierre

Vanderbilt University has determined that a football coach violated school policies when he posted on social media comments supporting Kanye West.

“Kanye is two steps ahead of everyone. He’s not crazy. People try to silence him because he thinks for himself,” defensive backs coach Dan Jackson said on Facebook in November, replying to someone else’s post. “People don’t want that. Rappers and athletes are taught they need to think the same as the media/politicians. If they have an opinion that is opposite the mainstream, they’re called crazy. More people need to wake up and speak their mind.”

An internal investigation found that Jackson’s comments, which went viral and were widely covered by media outlets across the country,”were not discriminatory” but had violated the university’s electronic communications policies, according to a statement issued by athletics chancellor Candice Lee. He has since apologized for making them, claiming that he was unaware that of Kanye West’s antisemitic tirades.

“After being made aware of discriminatory statement made by West, I was sickened to know that my words could be interpreted as hurtful,” Jackson said in a statement shared by the university. “For this I am saddened and apologetic. In no way do I support antisemitism or any form of discrimination, nor do I condone any form of bias.”

In Tuesday’s statement, Vice Chancellor Lee, also denounced antisemitism and announced that Jackson will not return to coaching football this season. He is currently receiving trainings in bias and anti-discrimination, as well as “coaching on leadership and social media use.”

“These sessions will continue throughout the spring semester at a minimum,” Lee added, explaining that Jackson has offered to do more.

Kanye West. Nick Fuentes. Herschel Walker. Kyrie Irving. Enrique Tarrio.

If 2020 was the year that George Floyd’s murder made us confront systemic racism and 2021 was the year that made us face right-wing terrorism, then 2022 was the year that blew up our collective assumptions about what extremism looks like in the United States.

Hate comes in all colors.

Columnists Erika D. Smith and Anita Chabria look back and look ahead to the new year, as antisemitic rhetoric and hate crimes continue to change our understanding of the way political turmoil crosses demographic lines.
