In Italy? Not exactly probable.
This is beside the point though - his whole live stands for itself. A giant doesn't need to be defended. More to the point, is there someone who has done right by you, at all? Who isn't a commie, or a tatar? Besides Alexander the Great, that is, who we all know personally declared Macedonia open at least 15 years ago, saying: "Fuck you all, I done it, finally. Next, the moon."

Ah, the famous operetta approach to revolution.
Next time you talk to foreigners and they act pleasant enough, but somehow fail to take you too seriously, think what causes it. All the best from me, however.

Macedonians - 5 071 See, census is absolutely free in Bulgaria. How come in Macedonian census there isn't a field for "Bulgarian"? You can say you're Albanian, but being a Bulgar is taboo. Of course, Macedonians do the next best thing, being negated the right to self-determination - they apply for Bulgarian citizenship in droves. Which is good - they are better protected that way. In conclusion, we take blood ties very seriously.

And now, to better illustrate the Macedonian "national" character, here is this little bit: The American and Russian astronauts were arguing about who should put their national flag on the Moon first. The Macedonian saw them on TV and wailed: "Oh Moon, Moon, Macedonian land, they are dividing you again".

My thurn but on Macedonian language.

I like reading Bulgarian too, although you do tend to plaster the occasional "j" here and there. As for the scenario of the joke being probable or even, possible - naah. Someone shouting "I am a Macedonian" in the center of Sofia would get the odd raised eyebrow, but vague amusement a beating does not make. Now, I have one cool joke for you, I'm sure you'll like it: Enjoy. Bye for now.

You mean there are Turks in Bulgaria? Why yes, there are +/- 150K of them, roughly corresponding with the spots on the Bulgarian map above. It is a big problem, comparable to the one Bulgarians in Vardar Macedonia have with shiptars. And the one our Serbian cousins used to have in Kosovo, sadly.
Turks in Bulgaria used to average about 300K, but we managed to deport at least half of them to Turkey between 1995-1998. Frankly, you should know all that. Catch up on the mother-country's history. Be proud of your heritage, you descend from a great people. Do not shame their memory.

Zhivkov managed to deport Turks who were unwilling to Slavicize their lastnames, back in the 70s. I heard that many seeped back, though, under international pressure. At that time, until 1989, Bulgaria was the eastern most border of the German Democratic Republic. Meaning that quite a few East Germans were shot trying to cross into annexed Turkish territory. Nobody at the UN uttered a sound about it

Yet about 30 000 Macedonians openly hold dual Bulgarian/Macedonian citizenship. You do see the discrepancy, don't you?
