Swedish King's 'forgotten' 17th-century warship found in central Stockholm
Swedish King's 'forgotten' 17th-century warship found in central Stockholm The wreck of a four-century-old ship that used to belong to King Gustav II Adolf of Sweden has been uncovered in central Stockholm. Swedish archaeologists believe they have identified a shipwreck discovered in the capital as the more than 400-year-old warship 'Scepter', built in 1615 as one of the flagships in King Gustav II Adolf's fleet. https://www.thelocal.se/20170906/swe...tral-stockholm |
