'DUAL US-ISRAELI CITIZEN BEHIND MOST JCC BOMB THREAT CALLS'

BY YONAH JEREMY BOB MARCH 23, 2017 14:15

There are still few details available about the suspect’s profile, but he is not in the IDF, not ultra-Orthodox, at some point made aliya and possibly has psychological problems and few friends.

A 19-year-old dual American Israeli living in Ashkelon has been arrested, suspected of being behind most of a series of bomb and other threats to Jewish communities in the US, Europe, Australia and New Zealand that date back around six months, The Jerusalem Post has learned.

As of Thursday, with a gag order on the probe being lifted by the Rishon Lezion Magistrate’s Court at the same time it extended his detention to March 30, sources indicate that most of the threats against the Diaspora communities and organizations led investigators back to Israel.

The suspect's father has also been remanded until the end of the month, with the Rishon Lezion Magistrate's Court ruling that there is sufficient evidence to suspect that he himself made many of the threatening phone calls.

The first threat that stood out and was picked up on by Israeli investigators occurred in New Zealand around six month ago and led to the opening of the investigation.

Israel has been the lead coordinator with a number of other involved countries over the course of the probe.

The suspect used very complex methods to shield himself from identification and being caught, and law enforcement had to use a variety of their own complex methods to find him.

Law enforcement finally searched the suspect’s house on Thursday. They are only now able to piece together the breadth and methodology of his operations.

There are still few details available about the suspect’s profile, but he is not in the IDF, not ultra-Orthodox, at some point made aliya and possibly has psychological problems and few friends.

It is unknown how many others might have worked with the suspect, but it is believed that he was the main operator of the scare-spree and might have even acted completely on his own.

As of Thursday, it was still unclear what the suspect’s motivations were for the many threats, which made international headlines and got US President Donald Trump caught up in accusations that he was light on antisemitism when he did not initially harshly condemn the scares as well as desecrations of Jewish graves, which presumably were not connected to the suspect.

Israel intends to indict the suspect in its own courts, but it is unknown as of Thursday whether other countries such as the US might also seek to extradite and try him.

Police spokesman Mickey Rosenfeld told the Post, “This is one of the numerous ongoing police operations that take place with other international security and intelligence organizations in order to try to find suspects.

“This specific investigation was complex in terms of the suspect and its nature, and there was a significant breakthrough in the investigation which led us to make the arrest of the suspect, who lives in southern Israel,” he said.

“He was the main suspect behind the numerous threats that were made to different Jewish communities and organizations around the world,” Rosenfeld continued.

Further, Rosenfeld said, “As part of the ongoing investigation, we are trying to see if and how he was connected to the different Jewish communities in the US. That directs the investigation as to the American connection. We are looking to see if there was an incident which triggered him to carry out threatening those communities.”

Jewish bomb threat suspect undermines groups’ narrative on anti-Semitism

By Ben SalesMarch 23, 2017 3:12pm

NEW YORK (JTA) — Many Jewish groups blamed white supremacists, emboldened by Donald Trump’s campaign, for the bomb threats that have plagued Jewish institutions since the beginning of this year.

It appears the groups were wrong.

The news that one Jewish teen — an Israeli, no less — was behind most of the approximately 150 bomb threats that have hit Jewish community centers since the start of 2017 is a shocking twist in light of months in which the Anti-Defamation League and other groups pointed their collective finger at the far right.

“We’re in unprecedented times,” said Oren Segal, director of the ADL’s Center on Extremism, at a March 10 news conference on the bomb threats. “We’ve never seen, ever, the volume of bomb threats that we’ve seen. White supremacists in this country feel more emboldened than they ever have before because of the public discourse and divisive rhetoric.”

The ADL has repeatedly charged Trump with emboldening extremists, anti-Semites and far-right groups in the U.S. Other groups were even more explicit in linking rising anti-Semitic acts this year to the new president. On Jan. 10, following the first wave of JCC bomb threats, ]Bend The Arc, a liberal Jewish group, said that “Trump helped to create the atmosphere of bigotry and violence that has resulted in these dangerous threats against Jewish institutions and individuals.”

In February, the Anne Frank Center for Mutual Respect said in a statement to Trump that “Rightly or wrongly, the most vicious anti-Semites in America are looking at you and your Administration as a nationalistic movement granting them permission to attack Jews.”

But the perpetrator of the anti-Semitic acts, while his political opinions are not known, does not fit the profile of a white supremacist. According to Israeli reports, he’s a mentally ill Israeli-American Jewish teenager.

He worked from home, using a computer lab with sophisticated equipment, encryption and transmission systems, and a powerful antenna, according to reports. And his father may have known what he was doing.

Israel’s anti-fraud squad arrested the 19-year-old suspect at his home in southern Israel and searched the premises on Thursday. He was brought to court and ordered held until March 30.

The other suspect in the bomb threats, arrested earlier in March, also does not appear connected to the far right. He’s a left-wing African-American former journalist who apparently made the calls in a convoluted vendetta against a former romantic partner.

The ADL responded to the Israeli teen’s arrest with a mix of relief and caution along with a hint of defensiveness. The organization welcomed the news that JCC patrons — among them preschoolers and senior citizens — would no longer have to be evacuated and fear for their safety. But its statement said that despite the suspect’s profile, anti-Semitism in America is still a problem.

“These were acts of anti-Semitism,” the statement said, adding that “anti-Semitism in the U.S. remains a very serious concern. No arrests have been made in three cemetery desecrations or a series of other anti-Semitic incidents involving swastika graffiti and hate fliers. JCCs and other institutions should not relax security measures or become less vigilant.”

The Anne Frank Center, a small group whose profile has risen in part due to the attention around the JCC threats, said in a statement Thursday that “it doesn’t matter where any suspect is from or what his or her background is.” Bend The Arc CEO Stosh Cotler said in a statement: “Violence and threats of violence, whoever or wherever they come from, are unacceptable and cannot be tolerated.”

The JCC Association of North America said it was “troubled” by the news that the suspect is Jewish, while the Jewish Federations of North America called the news “heartbreaking.”

Paul Goldenberg, director of the Secure Community Network, which advises Jewish groups and institutions on security, said the suspect’s age and location were less relevant than the fact that someone has been caught for making the threats.

“What is relevant is that an individual or individuals were placed into custody who were engaged in or involved in criminal behavior, who were looking to terrorize our community,” he said. “I do understand why people may have believed that this was part of a larger effort.”

For longtime observers of anti-Semitism, the news showed the need to be cautious when analyzing hateful acts. Former ADL National Director Abraham Foxman, who has previously called for cooler heads in responding to recent hateful acts, said Thursday that the arrest shows the pitfalls of making assumptions.

“Always take these things seriously, but don’t jump to conclusions,” Foxman told JTA. “History has taught us the source of anti-Semitism does not come from one direction. It’s universal in its nature. … I think it is on the increase, but it’s not in epidemic proportions.”

Jonathan Sarna, a professor of American Jewish history at Brandeis University, noted that this isn’t the first time that Jews have committed anti-Semitic acts. In 1989, the former president of the Jewish Student Union at the State University of New York in Binghamton was charged with painting anti-Semitic slogans on campus.

“It is a reminder that we have to be very careful before we talk about a whole wave of anti-Semitism,” Sarna said. “Something like this will surely make everybody a little embarrassed as Jews, but also embarrassed in the sense that it’s not what people imagined it would turn out to be.”

Sarna added that this incident shows Jews may not be as hated in America as it may have seemed. He cited a recent study by the Pew Research Center showing Jews to be the most popular religious group in America.

“It’s good to take a middle ground,” he said. “Yes, there are people who hate Jews, but we’re not seeing storm troopers at the gate.”

Still, Sarna and Foxman noted the string of other anti-Semitic acts recently — the cemetery desecrations and swastika graffiti, as well as a deluge of anti-Semitic harassment on Twitter last year. Because anti-Semitic acts, beyond the JCC threats, remain frequent in the U.S., Foxman does not believe that Thursday’s arrest will lead to anyone downplaying future acts of anti-Semitism.

“It’s there,” Foxman said of anti-Semitism. “So there’s one guy who, whatever his problem was, that doesn’t change the fact that every day there are incidents of anti-Semitism in this country.”

Kikes Tried to Frame Me for Synagogue Threats a Second Time

weev
Daily Stormer
March 24, 2017

Quote:
The truth will set us free. I’ve been sitting silent on a story I wanted to talk about for weeks but the thing holding me back was fear for my life. For weeks prominent Jewry have been attempting to pin the blame on me for the recent wave of bomb threats to synagogues. When someone is attempting to frame you for a crime, the best thing to do is not make statements, so I deferred this piece while the responsible party was caught.

Now the perpetrator of these vicious hate crimes has been revealed: surprise surprise, he’s an Israeli Jew just as this site has asserted all along. It is now safe for me to come forward and talk about a continuing seditious conspiracy by America’s most prominent Jewry to have an American political activist silenced.

Joe Bernstein, who already tried to interfere with this Daily Stormer’s operations, emailed me to inquire if I was responsible for those threats.

Default ADL’s “Anti-Semitic Incident” Report includes Jokes, Neighbor Disputes—and Threats made by Jews

Quote:
The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) Lie Machine has gone into overdrive once again with its “2017 Audit of Anti-Semitic Incidents”—and has included classroom jokes, disputes between neighbors over dogs, and even the bomb threats to Jewish Community Centers made by a Jew in Israel as part of its claims of “increased anti-Semitism.”

The report is the second collection of outrageous lies put out by the increasingly depraved Jewish extremist organization this year, following on their “white extremist murder list” of January which included murders by mixed-race gangs, Obama and Bernie Sanders voters, domestic disputes, divorce cases gone wrong, and even criminal prison gang violence, all of which the Jews blamed on “white supremacists.”

The latest “report” from the ADL makes all manner of hysterical—and patently bogus—claims such as that the “number of anti-Semitic incidents in the U.S. rose 57 percent in 2017 – the largest single-year increase on record and the second highest number reported since ADL started tracking such data in 1979.”

However, the ADL admitted that it included 163 bomb threats made by Michael Ron Kadar—a Jew in Israel—against Jewish Community Centers in the “increase” because “regardless of the motivation of any specific perpetrator, Jewish communities were repeatedly traumatized by these assaults on their institutions and threats to their safety.”

Because these most serious incidents all came from a Jew, the ADL was forced to scratch the bottom of the barrel to find “evidence” of wickedness from gentiles.

In order to do this, the ADL “research” focused on what it said was a “significant increase in incidents in schools and on college campuses, which nearly doubled for the second year in a row.”

However, a review of these “incidents,” as contained in the ADL’s own precise listing, makes comical reading, and reveals exactly how far these extremist Jews are prepared to go in order to manufacture their hate propaganda.

A sampling of this ridiculous nonsense, which gives a good idea of the sort of “incident” which the ADL has listed as “evidence,” is as follows: (all taken verbatim from the ADL incident list)

“Professor made anti-Semitic comments to Jewish student.” (This could of course be anything, including criticism of Israel).

“Ongoing anti-Semitic harassment from neighbor.”

“Jewish student harassed by peers with Holocaust jokes.’” (Jokes are now evidence of “anti-Anti-Semitism”).

“Students made jokes about concentration camps and performed the Nazi salute.”

“Anti-Semitic graffiti drawn in restroom of supermarket.”

“Jewish employee victim of anti-Semitic comments by supervisor.”

“Imam at a mosque made anti-Semitic conspiracy claims about Israel and the Jews.” (No doubt this was a remark about the Jewish lobby’s control over the US government, a fact which is not anti-Semitic any more than any fact is).

“Swastika discovered in a Walgreens’ bathroom.”

“Outside vendor sold Nazi-themed shirts on campus.” (“Nazi-themed”?)

“UCSC Hillel Israeli Independence Day event was disrupted by members of the Afrikan Black Student Alliance who tore down an Israeli flag and yelled ‘Fuck Jewish Slugs’ and ‘free Palestine.’” (Almost no comment needed).

“A Jewish student harassed with Holocaust-related verbiage.”

“Swastika drawing found outside a residence hall.”

“Swastika was drawn using permanent marker on a car door on campus.”

“Individual called a ‘fucking Jew bitch’ by their neighbor after their dog got loose.”

“Swastika and ‘heil Hitler’ written in the comment book at a Jewish museum.”

“Jewish student subjected to Holocaust jokes.”

“Anti-Semitic comments overheard in classroom.”

“Child drew swastika and showed it to a Jewish classmate.”

“Students found swastikas drawn on desks.”

And so on.

Apart from the obvious—that the vast majority of these incidents are hearsay comical pranks, or self-created stunts (nonwhites and Jews specialize in fake hate crimes)—http://www.fakehatecrimes.org

the reality is clear: the ADL’s list of “anti-Semitic incidents” is just another attempt by those Jewish extremists to whip up hatred against gentiles.

The hysterical nonsense put out by the ADL parallels that issued by Jewish organizations in other parts of the world. As reported by the UK’s Gilad Atzmon—possibly the world’s most famous ex-Jew dissident, the recently released annual report of the Swiss Jewish Lobby CICAD, blamed him for two of the “150 acts of anti-Semitism” which they recorded.

As Atzmon wrote on his blog, the “Swiss Jewish lobby CICAD didn’t approve of the following” quotes Atzmon had made during public appearances over the past year:

“The shift from total sinner into the new messiah figure was certainly rapid for serial predator Weinstein. But this shouldn’t take us by surprise. Weinstein’s regard for himself as a ‘martyr for social change’ is consistent with Tikun Olam – the misguided Jewish belief that it is down to the Jews to repair the world.”

And

“In reference to history operating as a collective suppression of shame I said that ‘the Americans conceal slavery and imperial genocidal aggression, the Brits conceal their colonial blunders, the Jews turn their eyes away from anything that may have contributed to turning Jewish history into an extended shoah.’”

All this nonsense is dealt with by Atzmon jokingly remarked that he is disappointed he has only made two entries in the CICAD list, and that he “promises to improve [his] record in 2018.”
