Srbska Action at march against World Bank and IMF
At Saturday's protest march in Timisoara against the policies of the IMF and World Bank, traditionally organized by the Romanian New Right, also took part Srbska Action, which has again accepted the invitation of Romanian comrades. Gathering, which began at 14 o'clock in front of the consulate Temisoara Moldova continued march of several hundred Romanian nationalists and their guests from Serbia. Under parols: "Nationalism, not capitalism," "National liberation" and "Stop the dictatorship of the IMF", Romanian comrades have expressed righteous indignation of their oppressed people, who also reside under occupation of parasitic, politikanstske quasi-elite, faithfully executing the orders of their globalist mentors from Brussels and Washington. The protest march ended in a speech near the city center, the Monument to the great Romanian poet and thinker Mihai Eminescu. As an organization with the principle of social justice implies an intrinsic part of the struggle for national revival, Serbian Action considers very important the maintenance of these manifestations of national rebellion regarding social and economic issues. Consequently, we want to put an end to the globalized economic exploitation of the people and Tycoon-criminal structures in the system, which make the immoral and illegal enormously rich, without any progressive work. We want instead of banks and department stores to encourage more small commercial organizations and credit unions (whether any agricultural worker), to prevent the enormous debt of our nation, particularly to foreign banks and organizations like the World Bank and the IMF, whose presence must be permanently removed from the true nation-state. For joint European national syndicalism, anti-capitalism and lihvar! Long live Srbsko-Romanian friendship! Long live a free Europe of the Nations!

Romania eyeing 2016 IHRA chairmanship
Romania’s Foreign Minister Titus Corlatean on Thursday welcomed Personal Representative of the OSCE Chair-in-Office on Combating Anti-Semitism Rabbi Andrew Baker to whom he voiced Romania’s wish to take over the chairmanship of the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) in 2016. The Foreign Ministry (MAE) reports that discussed at the meeting were topical international affairs, including the development of anti-Semitism in Europe, as well as Romania’s commitment to combat anti-Semitism and all forms of discrimination and xenophobia. Corlatean also reaffirmed Romania’s constant pledge inside the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) to combat anti-Semitism, take responsibility for its past and condemn Holocaust denial. Rabbi Andrew Baker is director of International Jewish Affairs at the American Jewish Committee (AJC). Throughout most of the 1990s, as director of European Affairs, Rabbi Baker promoted tolerance in the emerging democracies of Central and Eastern Europe. He was also a member on the Committee on Holocaust Studies in Romania. http://www.financiarul.ro/2013/10/04...-chairmanship/ |

Basescu: Day of Remembrance of Victims of Holocaust - a debt of honor and a call to responsibility for Romanian people
President Traian Basescu sent, on Wednesday, a message on the occasion of the Day of Remembrance of the Victims of the Holocaust in Romania, stating that this day is a debt of honor and a call to responsibility towards the historical truth for the Romanian people, the Presidential Administration informs. 'It's a day with a special symbolism, an expression of the fact that the Romanian state is committed to ensure the freedom and fundamental rights of all its citizens in the spirit of respect for the otherness and of the rule of law', says the message. The head of the state also said that evocation of suffering and ideologically justified persecutions, to which the Jewish and Rroma communities were subjected to, is shocking . ' We participate today, through our compassion and respect, in evoking this human tragedy that has marked the history of the twentieth century and whose reverberations will continue to be felt by generations to come. At the same time, it is important that the legacy of suffering that marked the destiny of the Jewish people leaves room for hope and reconciliation in the name of the values that define us and by which we preserve our humanism and dignity ', said Traian Basescu. He stressed that ' the memory of some crimes that had the power to shake to the grounds our civilization, of the spirit that has kept together the old Europe should have the power to catalyze, through today's generation, a new spirit for a united Europe where, unfortunately, there are still extremist and xenophobic trends '. 'Exclusion , intolerance, anti-Semitism , contempt towards what you do not know are, equally, effects of our limited capacity to respond to the challenges launched daily in the world we live in, a world torn apart by economic and social tensions, civil wars, unprecedented cruel acts against innocent people ' , the head of state argued. Traian Basescu said that, on this day, 'we have the opportunity to reflect upon a civilization of piece'. 'I consider that especially in a day when we evoke the suffering of a people, but also the power to forgive and to build a durable civilization and culture that are part of Romania's heritage, we have the opportunity to reflect with maturity and responsibly to the significance of a civilization of peace. (...) for the evocation of human suffering not to be in vain it is necessary that all our efforts be directed towards an ideal of national community, where patriotism is perceived as dialogue and knowledge, as respect for the law and for the institutions designed to serve the common good ', he also said. 'I believe that Romania, as a country that is committed to respect the exigencies of the rule of law, shall have the power to make from the assumption of the past the starting point for a national vision, set to prevent the repeat of episodes that tainted the history', the President emphasized. He addressed the members of Jewish communities 'his deep appreciation for their original contribution to the Romanian culture and national heritage' . http://actmedia.eu/daily/basescu-day...n-people/48505 |

Romanian President addresses concerns of anti-semitism and Holocaust denial during his Israel visit Romanian President Traian Basescu has finished a three day visit to Israel, where he met with president Shimon Peres and Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas. In a speech delivered alongside Peres, Basescu said his trip aimed to bolster bilateral relationships, pointing to the two countries strong cooperation in trade and the medical and military sectors. He also addressed concerns of anti-semitism in his homeland saying there was no place in Romania for discrimination. Also Basescu said any incidents of Holocaust denial in Romania were born out of ignorance, and that the country was focused on teaching its true history. Meeting Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas, Basescu spoke about Romania’s support of the peace process, especially the talks led by US Secretary of State John Kerry. In a story about his visit, The Jewish Daily Forward acknowledged Romania had ramped up its Holocaust commemoration efforts after Basescu visited the US Holocaust memorial in Washington nine years ago. Although this progress had facilitated its integration into the European Union and helped forge lucrative ties with Israel, the JDF said failures in the restitution of property and persistent Holocaust denial – even in academia and government – had tarnished the country’s reputation and threaten to eclipse the efforts by Romania to correct the effects of Ceausescu’s denial policy. http://www.romania-insider.com/roman...-visit/113530/ |
