Statement by the Leader of Golden Dawn on the outcome of the referendum
Tuesday, 7 July2015 - 14:31 Statement by the Leader of Golden Dawn on the outcome of the referendum The Secretary General of the Popular Association – Golden Dawn, Nikolaos G. Michaloliakos, being under house arrest stated on the outcome of the referendum that the answer of the Greek people to the proposals of the loan sharks lenders is an overwhelming NO. He stressed that the next day must find the entire Greek people united and that the Golden Dawn expressing the will of the people will stand strongly against any memorandum friendly agreement. The Leader of Golden Dawn said: “Greek People, Golden Dawn welcomes the outcome of the referendum of July 5th, 2015. The response of the Greek people to the proposal of the “partners”, to the proposal of Juncker, was overwhelmingly “NO”. This “NO” was strongly supported by our movement and I want to thank all the MPs, all Executives, all Golden Dawners, who stood firmly and supported this line. The next day, however, should find all the Greeks united. The July 6th should not find half of the Greeks being patriots and the rest being traitors. We should also stress that the “NO” of the Golden Dawn to the Juncker’s proposal is definitely not a “YES” to any proposal and to any agreement reached by the government. We are firmly against the Memorandum. The Greek People suffered a lot the last week, with all these queues at food shops and banks. That was an unacceptable phenomenon, for which there are responsibilities not only from the part of the government, but also from the part of Europe that coercively moved towards forcing the Greek People to say “YES” to its proposal. Golden Dawn did its duty and proved that it is a Movement Patriotic and Nationalist, which said “NO” to the foreign rule. Finally, the mudslinging, slander, exclusion and war against us should stop. Golden Dawn said NO to the foreign rule. Said NO to every Memorandum. And will say NO to every agreement that will be governed by English Law and will assign National Sovereignty”. The Greek debt crisis is providing fuel for the country's neo-Nazi movement Golden Dawn July 15, 2015 Despite its various charity fronts, the Greek neo-Nazi movement is a dark and dangerous beast. The latest EU bailout deal for Greece offers so little in the way of economic relief for the average Greek citizen that it risks emboldening a growing neo-Nazi movement that is casting its gangs of thugs as saviours of the poor. As supporters of the neo-Nazi Golden Dawn party set up "Greeks only" food banks to help feed the unemployed, the leftist coalition government of Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras is facing an uphill battle to sell yet another version of austerity to an already traumatised nation. Tsipras' Syriza Party and their coalition allies came to power riding a wave of nationalistic revolt over EU-imposed austerity measures, buoyed by heady, if unrealistic, popular expectations for change. Syriza's capitulation to EU negotiators this week leaves the deep-seated resentment and frustration that austerity, poverty and widespread unemployment have stoked casting around for alternative avenues of political expression. With a weak political centre that supports the EU bailout, the anti-austerity mantle and all the emotion it carries could swiftly default to the political far right. Golden Dawn, which opposed the EU package, is flexing its muscles in the wings. The Greek neo-Nazi movement, however, is a dark and dangerous beast despite its various charity fronts. It uses violence to advance its aims and actively promotes racism, anti-Semitism, anti-Islamic sentiment, homophobia and social division, particularly by assaulting and demonising immigrants as scapegoats for the nation's woes. Today's Greek neo-Nazis found their political voice in the form of Golden Dawn as youth unemployment hit 50 per cent, and overall joblessness about 25 per cent, once austerity measures began to bite. The stresses of the economic contraction within Greek communities are palpable; even the rates of stillbirths have increased because many women can no longer afford neo-natal screening or care. Against this backdrop of declining living standards and acute uncertainty about the future, Greece is also facing relentless waves of immigrant arrivals by sea. In the first four months of this year alone over 21,000 people arrived by boat, mainly fleeing Syria, compared to about 33,000 people for all of 2014. Unfortunately, this confluence of factors adds up to a textbook scenario for the rise of political extremism. Golden Dawn took to the national political stage in 2012, winning 21 seats to enter the Hellenic Parliament for the first time. In national elections earlier this year it won more than 6 per cent of the primary vote, even though its leadership had been jailed under anti-gang laws. More ominous than the popular vote, perhaps, is its considerable support within the Greek security forces. About half the Greek police voted for Golden Dawn in 2012. The chief of the Hellenic Police, Nikos Papagiannopoulos, has since been reported as telling his officers to make the lives of immigrants "unbearable" and members of the Greek coastguard unit have been accused of beating migrants and dumping them at sea in Turkish territorial waters and of carrying out "mock" waterboardings. The neo-Nazi presence in Parliament has given oxygen to overt racism. On the streets, such sentiment is playing out in violent attacks on immigrants and street battles between far left groups and Golden Dawn-aligned gangs. In my own research I uncovered countless incidents in which fascists and neo-Nazis were protected by the riot police during clashes, or even had the use of a riot police van to hide their rocks, bricks and baseball bats. At the same time, the movement is seeking to bolster its popular appeal with food banks, as part of a larger charity effort, albeit one that only assists Greeks. In 2014, Australian Greeks from Melbourne unwittingly contributed to Golden Dawn's largesse, by donating goods that were handed out from crates stamped with Golden Dawn's Nazi symbols. Certainly, Greece's recent history must limit the popular appeal of the neo-Nazi right. The Greeks suffered under a brutal military junta between 1967 and 1974 and still have pride in the people's movement that overthrew the colonels. Extreme right-wing movements, however, less interested in popularity than in stoking the kind of civil unrest that might offer the security forces a pretext to step up or step in. Few would argue that Prime Minister Tsipras had any real choice in negotiations with the EU, despite his brinkmanship. Austerity might be bad, but being cut loose from the EU looked even worse. But, now no matter what his government does, the new EU package will trigger new, incendiary domestic political stresses. While the world crunches the numbers of the Greek bailout mark III it is critical this delicate, and potentially dangerous, political balancing act isn't overlooked. Dr Nick Apoifis is a lecturer in International Relations at UNSW. His book on radical political movements in Greece is due out later this year. |

Greece: Kasidiaris Tears Up Bailout Deal on Parliament Floor
Daily Stormer July 16, 2015 Responding to the evil traitor Alexis’ bowing down to the Jews who rule Europe, Golden Dawn MP Ilias Kasidiaris tore up the documents on the floor of Parliament. He is an absolutely incredible orator. Here is the full text of his speech, translated: For many months now, since Tsipras became a usual goer to all the international forums of the international loan sharks, and the foreign plutocracy, from Texas to the London School of Economics, Golden Dawn had said that this human had took the job of destroying Greece, and today we are absolutely justified. Because in just a week they (SYRIZA) come here to pass two seperate anti-national legislations. The third, unwanted, antihellenic bailout, and the illegal immigrant legislation which legalizes the illegal immigrants, and will turn Greeks to a minority in their own country. The antihellenist Schultz, this shameful trash of the Europarliament, also verified to us. He said that Tsipras is the only one who can make the third bailout happen. He is the man for the special operations of international usury, he is the man that will destroy Greece, through the unwanted bailout, through its economic destruction, and through illegal immigration which will make us the minority in Greece. You lied before the elections, you lied for 6 whole months, you sold us a big fairy tale, a theater act, with the supposed negotiations, which were a few small trips… A few small trips in which you vacated in Brussels and Strasburg, and had fun being photographed for Marie Claire, and other lifestyle magazines, you promoted yourselves, and you come here today to say that you absolutely accept the sellout of Greece. Having already destroyed the market, thousands of our co-citizens have lost their jobs in just a few months, and most importantly, after a resounding NO, a NO that expresses the vast majority of Greeks, a NO that constitutes illegal any decision of the parliament for the acceptance of the memoranda dictatorship, the international loan sharks. Minister Tsakalotos talked a while ago for the ‘rich’. “We will hit the rich” he said, who are the rich? Isn’t he himself rich? Having more than 800,000 euros deposited in offshore banks? Minister Stathakis? With more than 800,000 euros deposited? Papadimoulis? With more than 1,300,000 in deposits and 28 houses in total all over the world? Who are the ‘rich’ you are going to hit, When you don’t even dare to touch the benefits of the parliamentarians? We gave a battle, during the second bailout when we revealed to the public about the benefits parliamentarians received, and New Democracy was lying. And you today crush the farmers with these new measures, you crush the freelancers, and you don’t even dare to touch the wages, and benefits of the parliamentarians. You gave us a paper not even worthy for us to spit on it, a shameful paper written in English, which refers to a fund of 50 billion euros, that will be bidding the public assets. Where do these 50 billion euros come from? What are you going to sell, SYRIZA’s offices that are on Koumoundourou street? The fifty billions are our oil, the natural gas, the natural wealth of Greece that Germans want to take from us. But they won’t take ANYTHING from Greece, and these shameful, odious memoranda that the Greek people refused, will send you and your policy to the trash bin of Greek history. The parliamentarians of SYRIZA are right to be afraid that Golden Dawn will become a giant through all this, through all this 180 degree turn, through your bailout policy, we will grow like a giant, because now only Golden Dawn expresses the honorable NO of the Greeks, the National Resistance of Greeks, the National Sovereignty of the Greeks, the Greece that belongs to the Greeks. http://www.dailystormer.com/greece-k...liament-floor/ |

Yids are bolting their doors in Greece, they fear Golden Dawn radicals will break in and tattoo their arms. Matzohs are scattered all over shrines for Yid Heroes. A statue of the Yid Trotsky, was defaced with the Star Of David. Yid politicians are converting to Greek Orthodox.

Syriza’s austerity policies pave way for far right in Greece
By Kumaran Ira 4 August 2015 By violating its election pledges to end European Union (EU) austerity, Greece’s Syriza-led government is paving the way for the growth of a powerful far-right movement in Greece. After Syriza repudiated the overwhelming no vote in the July 5 referendum on austerity and agreed to impose tens of billions of euros in new austerity measures, this is acknowledged even by members of Syriza. After Syriza’s prime minister, Alexis Tsipras, signed a bail-out deal with the EU on July 13, Thanasis Kourkoulas, a member of the Internationalist Workers Left (DEA) inside Syriza’s Left Platform, pointed to the danger posed by the fascist Golden Dawn party. His article, “The fight against Golden Dawn isn’t over,” was published on the Swiss web site Al’encontre, close to France’s New Anti-capitalist Party. It was then posted on Socialist Worker, the web site of the American International Socialist Organisation (ISO), which is linked to the DEA. Kourkoulas writes that Golden Dawn has “taken advantage of the current context to present itself as the sole anti-system party working toward a national resistance. It presents SYRIZA as being a traitor ‘to the nation’ because a majority of its members signed a new Memorandum with the creditors. It also asserts that the entire political system is rotten, and that the charges against the leaders of Golden Dawn, its militants and the organisation itself are motivated by its posture of opposition to the political system.” Kourkoulas adds, “Until now, the majority of the population has not been convinced by these arguments. However, this may change with the new political phase opened by the third Memorandum. The Greek people have not yet been fully informed about the details of the new austerity measures. The resistance is therefore in its opening stages.” Kourkoulas’s description of the implications of Syriza’s capitulation to EU austerity is a devastating indictment of Syriza. By his own account, Syriza’s capitulation to EU austerity is allowing Golden Dawn—a violently xenophobic, anti-Semitic and openly pro-Nazi organisation—to blame EU austerity policies on the “Left” and portray itself as the greatest defenders of the people. Social anger will become all the more explosive as Syriza begins to impose the tens of billions of euros of cuts it agreed on with the EU last month. The vote for Syriza and the no vote in the July 5 referendum point to deeply rooted opposition in the working class to the austerity policies of European capitalism. However, the only way forward is to mobilise opposition in the working class in Greece and across Europe in struggle against Syriza and the EU, on a socialist and internationalist programme. The confusion and social anger created by Syriza and its various allies and apologists, for their part, play directly into the hands of the fascists. By uniting around the single largest austerity package since the beginning of the EU’s austerity drive in Greece in 2009, they are doing everything they can to block opposition to EU austerity on the left and leave the way open to the far right. Kourkoulas cites Golden Dawn’s “postering campaign against the privatisation of the port of Piraeus,” agreed upon by Syriza and the EU. It should be added that Syriza has further legitimised far-right forces by inviting another far-right party, the Independent Greeks (Anel), into its coalition government and promoting it as a progressive organisation. The dangers posed by the rising influence of violently far-right parties, under conditions of the utter betrayal of the workers by the reactionaries inside Syriza, are enormous. In pointing to the danger of Golden Dawn, however, Kourkoulas is acting in political bad faith. Aware that Syriza’s policies will provoke social opposition, the Left Platform is deeply worried about the rising anger in the working class and the emergence of workers’ struggles against the EU and Syriza itself. It is warning of the influence of Golden Dawn not to fight the danger of the emergence of a fascist movement or government, but to rally support for Syriza, even as the Syriza government escalates its attacks on the workers. Kourkoulas writes, “The antifascist sentiment of a strong majority of society currently fails to find expression within political institutions or bodies. On the one hand, it should be found within the left, particularly within Syriza, but there are no public statements condemning Golden Dawn for its criminal acts.… There is clearly an underestimation of the danger represented by Golden Dawn in the current context.” Placing demands on right-wing scoundrels like Syriza that they fight against the growth of far-right is a reactionary political lie, as they contribute to the development of far-right policies. Kourkourlas’s proposal for how to respond to a potential rise of Golden Dawn testifies to Syriza’s bankruptcy and lack of seriousness. He does not seek to criticise and break with the policy of austerity and capitulation to the EU. Rather, he wants to organise protests to pressure the judiciary to impose harsher sentences on Golden Dawn over their murder of Pavlos Fyssas in September 2013, and generally to repress Golden Dawn more harshly. With Golden Dawn leaders facing trial over Fyssas’s murder, Kourkoulas writes, “THE TRIAL against Golden Dawn for being a criminal organisation—often postponed under various pretexts—has been decisive in suspending the actions of fascist vigilante groups.” According to Kourkoulas, “For the immediate future, we are optimistic that Golden Dawn will be unable to gain a wider hearing in society. Nevertheless, the danger is very real. It is therefore critical to include an anti-fascist dimension to every aspect of the anti-austerity fight and the struggles that follow it. We...anticipate holding protests in front of the courthouses as soon as the trials enter their next phase. It is important that we widely publicise that Golden Dawn is not an organisation against the system—that it supports capital and benefits from its relationship with Greece’s rulers, in particular, with weapons manufacturers.” Such protests would do nothing to fight the rise of Golden Dawn. In fact, they would allow Golden Dawn to continue presenting itself as not only the sole opponent of austerity, but also as the victim of the Syriza government’s persecution and its interference with the judiciary. This will only strengthen the far right. As for Kourkoulas’s attempt to discredit Golden Dawn by criticising them as allies of Greece’s “rulers,” such empty phrase-mongering will have no impact whatsoever, coming from what is in fact the ruling party of Greece. https://www.wsws.org/en/articles/201.../gold-a04.html |

Golden Dawn was denied the chance to form a coalition government even though they were the third most popular party. They were also denied the right to participate in a televised debate this week on Greek television. The System is always the same. Electoral politics are a game in this jew-rigged System.
