That does not sound like Klaus Doldinger's original Das Boot score at all. Pretty weird. But I am not very familiar with techno music.

As far as I understand, in the Das Boot album, only the thing Das Boot - https://vnnforum.com/showpost.php?p=...8&postcount=13 - is related to the music from the Das Boot movie

And this is not the music of Klaus Doldinger.

Here are some of my favorite songs by the talented Swedish Eurodance artist E-Type that I used to listen to when I was a teenager in the 1990s:

Russian Lullaby

Russian Lullaby

Priviet! Menya zavut E-Type! Nazdarovie!

When the seas are rolling in
When the stars are shining clear
When the ghosts are howling near
When we sing the Russian lullaby

In the night, in the night

Let's you and me together leave for higher ground
When you are all alone just listen to the sound

Lullaby,
we fall asleep when we hear...
Lullaby,
we fly away when we hear...
Lullaby,
we travel far when we hear...
Lullaby,
when we hear the Russian lullaby...

In the night, when the seas are rolling in
In the night, when the stars are shining clear
In the night, when the ghosts are howling near
In the night, when we sing the Russian lullaby

In the night, in the night

When we are going through the night in search of light
Let's you and me enjoy the mach 5 speed of life

Lullaby,
we fall asleep when we hear...
Lullaby,
we fly away when we hear...
Lullaby,
we travel far when we hear...
Lullaby,
when we hear the Russian lullaby...

In the night, when the seas are rolling in
In the night, when the stars are shining clear
In the night, when the ghosts are howling near
In the night, when we sing the Russian lullaby

In the night
We fall asleep when we hear...
In the night
We fly away when we hear...
In the night
We travel far when we hear...
In the night
When we sing the Russian lullaby...

When the seas are rolling in
In the night, when the stars are shining clear
In the night, when the ghosts are howling near
In the night, when we sing the Russian lullaby
When we sing the Russian lullaby
When we sing the Russian lullaby

Here's the Eurodance classic Rhythm Is a Dancer by Snap:

Quote:
Snap! are a German Eurodance group formed in 1989 by producers Michael Münzing and Luca Anzilotti.[1] The act has been through a number of line-up changes over the years. Their best known hits in the U.S. are "The Power" (No. 2) and "Rhythm Is a Dancer" (No. 5).

Quote:
"Rhythm Is a Dancer" is a song by the German group Snap! from their second studio album The Madman's Return (1992). Written by Benito Benites, John "Virgo" Garrett III (aliases for German producers Michael Münzing and Luca Anzilotti) and Thea Austin, the song was released as the second single from the The Madman's Return album on 30 March 1992.

"Rhythm Is a Dancer" achieved huge success in many countries around the world, topping the charts in France, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Germany and the United Kingdom. It also reached the top-five on the US Billboard Hot 100 and number one on the Dance Club Songs chart.[2] It spent six weeks at the top of the UK Singles Chart, becoming the second biggest-selling single of 1992, surpassed only by Whitney Houston's version of "I Will Always Love You".[3][4]

And here's a video in which the legendary VNN poster Mike Mazzone dances to this song:

See, folks, Mike Mazzone knows good music.

P.S. I'm not outing him by posting this video because his real-life identity has always been known, and he often posted his picture and linked to his videos.

Mike Mazzone was one of VNN's most interesting and entertaining posters - intelligent, and with a great sense of humor.

In my opinion, Techno is White music just like Rock, Metal, Country or Classical.

Me too. I don't know much about Techno music either.
Aside from that, the German band Kraftwerk paved the way for Techno in the 70s.

I'm more of a Rock / Heavy Metal guy. I like the Classical and patriotic Eastern European Hip-hop too.

However, I can think of some artists with Techno and Electronic influences, whose music I listen to.

Rap-rock band Linkin Park, their fourth album:

Death Metal band Morbid Angel, their controversial eighth album:

Slovenian Industrial band Laibach:

Hope you guys have been doing fine. 88

Exactly. I'm especially fond of Swedish trance music from the late 1990s (like the music that I posted in my first couple of posts in this thread), which I guess could be considered techno, or at least techno-ish.

Yes, I suppose they did, although in my opinion they're extremely overrated since they've only had, like, one good song in their entire career. Yes, I'm talking about Das Model / The Model.

Well, I must be really old and uncool because I have never heard of "patriotic Eastern European Hip-hop". I do listen to Eastern European music, but mainly famous female pop artists from Russia and Albania who would be considered sleazy/degenerate on this forum because they often appear half-naked in their videos, and occasionally kiss and fondle each other.

Yes, we're fine, thanks for asking.
