The IP of Every Company that Has Ever Accepted Tax Dollars Should Revert to the Public Domain
There's a legal precedent that if you develop "intellectual property" (IP) while employed (even if you do it at home on your own time) your employer can claim ownership of that property. (This is why Mark Zuckerberg had to pay the Winklevoss twins $100 million for Facebook.)
Given that, ownership of all IP (patents, copyrights, etc.) from any company--including non-Profits--that have ever taken tax dollars in any form (including tax breaks/credits) should revert to the American people and be placed in the Public Domain immediately.
