Israel brings warfare to social media, Anonymous responds
On Wednesday, Israel launched attacks in the Gaza strip and Israeli officials have said the reason for the attack is to eliminate Hamas in the region. But what is odd about the violence is the unprecedented tweeting of the violence on the ground on Twitter. RT's Andrew Blake joins us to shed light on why Israel has decided to bring the play-by-play of war on to social media and how hacktivists are responding with online actions of their own. Anonymous and Telecomix - two loose-knit groups of Internet activists - have been waging a war on Israel's web presence and sharing strategies with civilians about how to stay connected to the Web if the action escalates further in Gaza.

Black boxes assist Big Brother in the UK
In Britain there are already millions of CCTV cameras at street corners across the country, but this privacy issue could get a little worse. The UK plans on installing black boxes to monitor email, telephone calls and online activity that will store the information for more than a year. Here is the report.
