U.S. Special Forces Killed in Afghanistan Helicopter Crash

A NATO helicopter crash in an eastern province of Afghanistan last night killed 31 U.S. special forces and seven Afghan soldiers.

The aircraft, belonging to NATO’s International Security Assistance Force, or ISAF, crashed in the Maidan Wardak province, according to a statement from the office of Afghan President Hamid Karzai today. The helicopter was completely destroyed, shot down by the Taliban, Shahidullah Shahid, a spokesman for the Maidan Wardak province said in a phone interview.

A Taliban rocket downed the helicopter after a two-hour operation by U.S. forces in the area, Zabihullah Mujahed, a spokesman for the Taliban, said in a phone interview from an undisclosed location. Eight Taliban also died in the clash, Mujahed said.

Nato, in a separate statement, said an ISAF helicopter had crashed and that recovery operations are under way. No further details on the casualties were provided.

"ISAF is still in the process of assessing the circumstances to determine the facts of the incident, reporting indicates there was enemy activity in the area," Nato said in the statement.

I am certainly against our nation fighting in wars for Israel. I strongly believe we should bring our boys home.
However, I don't celebrate when I hear news of American boys being killed. Most of them are young white kids. It is sad news.

Crash Kills Members of SEAL Team 6

The Associated Press has learned that more than 20 Navy SEALs from the unit that killed Osama bin Laden were among those lost in a helicopter crash in Afghanistan.

The operators from SEAL Team Six were flown by a crew of the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment. That's according to one current and one former U.S. official. Both spoke on condition of anonymity because families are still being notified of the loss of their loved ones.

One source says the team was thought to include 22 SEALs, three Air Force air controllers, seven Afghan Army troops, a dog and his handler, and a civilian interpreter, plus the helicopter crew.

The sources thought this was the largest single loss of life ever for SEAL Team Six, known as the Naval Special Warfare Development Group.

22 of them? "team six" ok whatever, I know that name got a lot of hype after the Osama story, but isn't this the largest loss for the whole force's history? I found that the precursor group(underwater demolitions teams) lost 31 men at Omaha beach, but "SEALS" didn't exist until the 60's.

I love threads like this. It really brings out the flag waving yahoos who think we still have a legitimate government and who think it's merc military are "our boys".

What Fred fails to understand is that before we can get our hands on the NM Valdez types and grind them into pig meal, we are going to have to fight through an army of whites. I agree totally. Very few of these soldiers will ever be any value to society. 1 in 18 are committing suicide as it is. They'll either quit and get right, which is pretty much too late by now, or they'll become a cop or mercenary and sooner or later be killing and bombing women and children right here in the USA, or Europe, Canada, etc. Pretty pathetic.

Anyone know where someone could find real statistics that aren't zionized about how many jewish servicemen served for the US in the various wars beginning with WW1 and ending with Iraq? I'd really like to know. If jews really do make up only 2% of the population, which I highly doubt the % number is so low, then there should be at least 2% jews in the armed forces.
