We all know there are some racially aware and traditionalist artists out there, particularly in black metal. But arguing about music on the internet has never been a good idea. Just shut the fuck up, listen to what he is saying, and gain some of his wisdom. Thank you.

I look at men his age and men of their background and I wonder really and truly what moral authority they could possibly have to criticize Generation X and beyond? They let the whole world go to Hell yet they shake bony fingers at people for playing with the wrong fire.

"Arguing about music on the internet has never been a good idea". So why should we take everything Pierce says as sacrosanct and beyond reproach? I think it's more of a generational gap with Pierce. I don't think one has to limit themselves to just classical music to be "White". I think a lot of the metal music he reviews is the worst of the worst at that time. I don't listen to metal music that is anything like that, most metal music is based on classical scales, not blues. I don't really buy that blues was a black invention either. But Pierce tended to argue that all music other than classical was black music. Nevermind the fact Resistance Records sold a bunch of shitty skinhead music at the time, that certainly wasn't anything close to his definition of "White music"
